its good, it is MTL but still quite readable if you've read enough of these types of novels, the pov isn't always from the mc (the sword) so the story isn't too 2 dimensional, give it a try

The story completely ruins the expectations that it brought on in the early chapters. After he gained the ability to speak, The novel went from a 3.9 in my rating books to a 2.6 due to the large quantitive amount of “Chinese comedy”, the standard “wanting to vomit out of blood for cringey x reason”. It wasn’t that horrendous when he wasn’t able to talk. The early translation quality for dialogues can only be described as garbage. The only thing differentiating this novel from others, is the concept of a evil sword (which isn’t even that unique because we have like 3 other novels with this premise). Plot gets extremely repetitive, and the serious atmosphere gets diffused with the lack of rationality and composure.

Why bother reading. I chp/week is release rate. i.e. it will take more than 6 yrs. To complete from this point on. That assuming tl does not go on break or drop it.
Complete utter trash, so far I read to chapter 57 and I still don’t know what is happening in the novel there’s so many face slaps, blood vomiting, and giving people face. That it’s just become so annoying at first I have to reading the synopsis I thought oh maybe it was a good novel I read a few of the comments found out maybe it’s not that great but still went ahead and read that novel. And it is just God awful. Like maybe if I was 12 or something I would like it a little, but personally I can’t get myself to read it anymore with that losing more than 10 brain cells for every sentence.

First of all, the MC was ridiculously overpowered. Tbh, I don't completely understand the magic system and a few other details, but I found this novel really enjoyable. I was hooked from the start. The enemies the MC faces are reminiscent of a classic cultivation novel where you beat everybody in the mortal realm, then beat everybody in the heavenly realm, then everybody in the void realm and so on, but it's done in a very interesting manner. It says there are 273 chapters but only 272 are on here. It ends on a cliffhanger which is very frustrating. I would recommend giving it a shot

It feels like I accidentally started a series at Book 4. The guy is insanely OP and knows complex magic way beyond anyone else immediately after showing up on a world. He of course remembers everything ever seen and can literally do anything perfectly as soon as he can think of it. I usually like OP but the kind where they have a goal or an interesting perspective. This guy just wanders around being perfect and everyone is amazed by him.

Although the ending can not be called bad, but I personally did not like it very muchSpoilerFor most of the book, the main goal of MC was to revive Biao, I realized a long time ago that the romance here is very bad (in the sense that there will be many good women, but not with one of them the relationship will not work out normally), and therefore I did not hope before the finale that she would be revived, but as a result she was not revived at all, in the end they showed how I realized that she was alive, but she is still dead, and only the red phoenix knows about her, there is almost no chance that she will be revived:(This is very sad, in addition, the author decided not even to give Xueqi a chance... In the end, at least something was shown, but the relationship was not confirmed, and so it can only finish the final itself. While the book is funny for some people, it is not my cup of tea. The word retarded can eloquently describe the MC. He is ignorant of so many things that I think I lost a couple of brain cells reading this. How such a useless bagel can reach a high level of cultivation and authority is astounding to me. 3.5 out of 5. It's not bad, just go into this knowing that this novel can be extremely edgy at times, giving you some cringe moments(alpha/beta talk, "asserting dominance", treating everyone as disposable conveniences,etc). That's ok though, i already knew what i was getting into and just read this novel for fun, which it is. However, since the mc treated everyone as tools to grow his power, it was hard to care for the characters at all(mostly relying on naruto nostalgia to keep me interested), or care for the mc, since he was pretty much a high functioning sociopath who barely cared for anyone. The mc was basically a dislikable bastard whom you read about just for fun. Reading the comments on each chapter was also a great part of my enjoyment, many funny edgelords.
Couldn't read past 33 chapters. MC is trying to be Mr. cynical EDGELORD with all his heart inside his mind while acting "calmly", making girls fall over heels for him (while MC shits on the said girls in his mind) and making others in awe of him. At the same time author tries to portray the world and its inhabitants as dark and cynical as well (the characters that weren't made cynical by author, were made idiots. So it's either this or that, or something from both worlds). If you compare both visions at the same time, all the points of this look funny from the mature perspective and I really can't get serious while reading this novel because of said points.Actually, all of that before was just my opinion, but what I know for sure, it's that author is really bad at writing psychopath main protagonist. This is really important and not that easy if you want to make good protagonist for your book while making him psychopath at the same time, and by the 33 chapters I read, I understand that author really failed at this. There's so much more to get this interesting and entertaining to do to make such protagonist that I would need to write at least 20+ comments for this while reading 20+ tabs about psychology that it's overwhelming. And what do we get instead? I WON'T BETRAY THEIR MEMORY BY LOVING ANOTHER FAMILY IN A WORLD OF KILLERS, THAT IS LIKE SPITTING IN THEIR FACES AND THEIR MEMORY....Yeah, right. Anyway, maybe it's somehow solved in later chapters but it's not my problem anymore.

(Note: 929 is last chapter of the story, 930 and potentially further is an after-credits scenes)Novel is great, I had a blast reading it, and I'm certainly waiting for that second book edit: second book is just publishing stuff, I've been hyped for nothing Now, let me tell you what I liked here in main points:World Building: the whole world of Elos feels living, and not centered around MC like it often happens. Most things, if not all, have their explanations, like a jigsaw puzzle pieces we, along with MC, are putting together as we explore.Main Character: has a personality, her own morale and principles, which shows well on the background of another world. Oftentimes I found myself relating to attitudes she has towards certain things. Absolutely hates politics, and I was glad she did all the way. She has fun on her adventures, and I consider this a plus, since it makes her so much more humane than all those MC's with attitudes like become strong first and foremost, and fun is for after that is achieved.Most notably, even when her personality hasn't changed, it certainly adjusted to fit the 'harsh reality,' and while I'll confidently say Ilea chapter 1 and Ilea chapter 929 are same character-wise, weight of all what happened certainly changed her.Side Characters: like MC, also have their personality, even those we'll only ever see once. Even bandits made exclusively to be somebody to be killed without remorse have their personality. Quite a lot of characters left a lasting impression, and some had their fair share of growth. Quite often there are snippets of side characters POVs, both telling about another perspective and character's thoughts, thus personality. I found myself longing for more of this moments instead of being annoyed by somewhat frequent use, which testaments to something at least.Another point is side character mortality: in quite a lot of stories side characters either don't die at all or die for the sake of MC's character development. Here, I haven't felt such, if they die, they die for themselves, for their own motives and reasons, like, you know, humans do.System: reminds me a bit of Nanomancer Reborn's system, but without all the bullshit. System itself is easy: you do the thing, you're rewarded with abilities, you don't do the thing, you stagnate. Very personalized in terms of paths of power, meaning you wouldn't ever meet exactly same (in terms of powers) mages, etc.But one big thing to note here: system very strongly favors overachieving, creating a viscous positive feedback loop of overachieving leading to more power leading to even more overachieving. Which isn't inherently bad, but does leave some aftertaste for me.Plot: there is no pressing world-wide matters that need immediate solving, which means MC can freely do her own thing without any pressing needs to rush towards, leaving plot a very relaxed walk instead of mad rush from destination to destination. I particularly liked the proportion of fighting and other activities, mainly how before I can get bored with routine or something else, MC just runs off to give us a fight to watch.Talking about plot is borderline spoilers, so I'll just say that every walk has it's own destination, and I was quite pleased with how it was concluded.Time passage: would be a strange thing to highlight if it wasn't so standing out to me. Oftentimes in such adventure-centered stories have time passage mentioned only when author suddenly remembered about it, or time-skips and more often than not in the end it sums up with quite ridiculous number, either too low (like in aforementioned Nanomancer Reborn), or too high for no particular reason. Here, even if not mentioned specifically, time passes, and it feels somewhat right. Like, for example, when MC re-encounters a teenager some time later, and this time they're young adult instead, and it feels... right. There are time-skips, but they're reserved for routine we have already seen, and they're measured in months.Chapter Length: chapters are quite long, but usually not too much, which is a good thing, in my book. System status, which notoriously takes whole chapters sometimes, here is an addition to it instead, at certain points I could even predict there is a status screen in the end by the length of a scroll bar. Maybe it's just me, but chapters get lengthier the further down the line we get, with last few being absolute monsters of a length, but with how action-packed they are, I deem it justified.

If you want a business novel then boy do I have the novel for you. It is a finance students wet dream and if you are even slightly interested in money you will definitely enjoy the absolute shit out of it. It's a korean novel called "Past Life Regressor" and it's essentially about a man who saw the end of the world in a system apocalypse and went back in time to the day of his birth through a system reward. He then proceeded to use his future knowledge and finance education to take control of the world's finances as well as get a massive head start on the other awakened. It's genuinely one of my top 5 novels, maybe even top 3.

Dropped at chapter 46. I kept trying to read more and get to some actual good stuff but the main character turns this novel from a 5/5 to a 1/5.One of those "good" main characters that are actually just stupid, naive, and gullible. With morals that get in the way more than anything. She doesn't even apply those morals to herself and seems to not care if people try to kill her or use her against her will for their own benefit. SpoilerForced to act as a live trap spotter by one group. Someone also lied to her and convinced her to dive into a deadly dungeon that she wasn't ready for. All she did was get angry at them and then later, out of pity, she gave them a ton of extremely precious information on how to advance to a better class.This novel makes me want to read about evil protagonists because at least they'll give a sh*t about their own well being.

This is a story I wanted to like, but after 140 chapters I give up and it's largely due to the MC. Early on in the story she tells herself jokes in what felt like a coping mechanism to keep her sane since she was thrown into a dangerous new world and was alone for months. Then the first time she goes into a town she buys so much food because she was eating the same thing for months and finally had choices. This was all great and made sense. Then the author decided these two things were going to be her defining traits and the extent of her personality. Is she in a dangerous situation and the people around her are telling her to be serious so they don't all die? Too bad. She's going to continue to goof off and make jokes, then get annoyed at the others for being too serious. Has it been more than 5 paragraphs without her eating? Better stop what's going on so she can eat. It's explicitly stated anyone at her level of strength can go days without eating, but even if they're in that dangerous situation, she's going to pester her teammates for food because the person with crack level addiction to food didn't bring any, further pissing them off. She is a caricature of herself and people who reached 600+ said she is a caricature in even more ways. The more the MC was in a chapter, the more pissed off I'd be at the end.So many of the side characters are uninteresting and the story is basically non-existent. Most of them have one personality trait or thing and that's it, just like the MC, while a few have more to them then that and are interesting. Sadly, most of the interesting characters were introduced in the first 50 chapters and it seems like the author went for quantity over quality after that. As for the story she goes to a place, fights things, gets stronger until she can't get stronger quickly, gets bored, and moves on to the next place. And the "interesting hooks" of the story are told so vaguely that I question if the author even bothered thinking up a story to work towards. There's local issues she has to resolve that gets a bit more thought, but the overarching story is hinted at with as much substance and precision as a fortune cookie. If you have nothing else to read or want junk food you can shut your brain off while reading, I suppose you can do worse, but you can definitely do better. Also, desperately needs a competent editor. Grammar, spelling, etc. swings from a 2/10 at times to a 6/10 at best and many of the issues present in the early chapters, even after supposed heavy editing, were still present over 100 chapters in.

I don't know how to say this respectfully, but using a capital letter for every single word is just crazy
The first part of the story is really good, but when he goes adventuring theres too much battle happened and not much else.Character design are also weird. With the way the story first introduced, i though our mc would be Spoilera cold calculating protag and his sidekick/harem member is a blank slate and becoming a cheerful girl for her love for mc. But NO, said author. Mc is suddenly become way too kind and way too good guy considered his background and his harem become an ultra jealous annoying biatchAnd then battle battle battle battle, ffffaaaak, where's the good part from his exile??? There's emotion, battle (usually in just a few paragraph not chapters), love and the best is character progression/maturity. First it seems like tis novel is cool, where MC is knowledgeable and mix science and magic together and create new thing new thory etc. but in fact he just fight and fight nothing else. he just use science and nothing magical. I mean by name it looc like the mc would become strong by having knowledge and create new tec and use them to fight the vilean. but actually it looks like typical hero fighting the ultimate demon king scarmish and get stong by fighting. It's irritating.

I'm around in the middle of Book 2. So far there's no lack of action and the world building don't suffer despite the fact that it's full of tense moment after another. Very vivid setting. The protagonist is young and inexperienced so he makes some reasonable mistakes. The rest of cast are well rounded.I actually decided to read this on Royal Road right after I skimmed through the comments here and saw the author being such laid back guy.It's very high quality and reads like a published book, definitely deserves as one if not Royal Road's best fiction.
Royal Road is truly something else... First, it's free to read, unlike webnovel. Second, its standards are way higher than webnovels. Any book doing slightly well on Royal Road is better than top sellers of Webnovel. On the other hand, if books like these or The Perfect Run is published on Webnovel, they would do shit, cause people just don't have good taste over there...
