Chapter 494 Thugs Are Everywhere

Chapter 494 Thugs Are Everywhere

"I don't want to sit with someone like you anyways! You look like you got a stick up your ass, mate." The boy shouted. Lee Seng took a bite out of his food as the ruckus from the other side of the room caught his attention.

"Give us your food today too!" Thug #1 shouted.

"Or else you'll get fed to the demons again!" Thug #2 threatened.

"Ugh, they're gonna come this way." The boy groaned. The thugs pushed the poor young man away and spun around. Lee Seng kept eye contact with them, watching them. They had a mischievous aura about them.

"Don't look at them." The boy warned him. "If you just look away, they won't challenge you."

'But I'm new and the head maid addressed me so formally…' Lee Seng thought. One of the thugs made eye contact with him and pointed at him.

"Ain't that the new guy that fat maid addressed as 'sir'?" Thug #4 asked loudly.

"Ah, you're right!" Thug #1 nodded. "Let's go."

"Hey, you! Mister!" Thug #3 shouted. The scarred girl and teenage boy groaned as they looked away. Their new table mate was already attracting way too much attention. Lee Seng took a bite of his sausage links and turned himself to look at the thugs as they surrounded him.

'Six of them.' Lee Seng observed.

"Are you new here?" Thug #1 asked. He glanced at the teenage boy on the other side of Lee Seng's row and then the scarred girl at the end. They were cowering and a nasty grin appeared on his face.

"I guess I'm new." Lee Seng replied. He turned to take another bite when Thug #4 knocked the tray away, spilling some food.

"You're new and someone fancy, huh? Who're you with? Lady Esme? Lord Varjo?" Thug #1 asked.

"Or are you with our Lady Beth? IF you are, we should get to know each other."

"My food…" Lee Seng quietly cried.

"Hey! Pay attention dipshit!" Thug #4 swung at Lee Seng. Lee Seng caught Thug #4's hand and held it in place. His eyes flared red and blue for a second before Lee Seng quickly pushed Thug #4 away.

"W-what was that?" Debt Collectors muttered around them.

"Oh you've done it, mate!" The teenager hissed.

"Hey, he hurt me!" Thug #4 accused him. Lee Seng sighed and stood up, pushing the chair away.

"You think you're a big shot because you're with some powerful Lord?" Thug #1 shouted. "I don't care what Lord you're with. They won't protect you here!"

"Let's teach him a lesson to not mess with us!" Thug #5 shouted. The Thugs began to scream in agreement and Lee Seng let out a charged sigh of energy. Nobody in the vicinity seemed to notice except for the teenage boy and the scarred girl. Lee Seng didn't even notice the second floor of onlookers. There was a "rich looking woman and man" eating breakfast together near the railing. They instantly recognized the amount of energy Lee Seng had off of one breath.

"Should we do something?" The woman asked the man. She wiped her mouth and set the napkin off to the side. "Things are gonna get noisy if we don't." The man didn't answer. The thugs charged at LEe Seng. Lee Seng dodged off to the side, punching a thug straight into the group. Most of the thugs tumbled onto the floor as Lee Seng slid his chair in and stepped off to the side.

"You little–" Thug #1 began to say when the pressure pushed itself onto the thugs.

"I can't… Move..!" Thug #2 struggled to say.

"I guess there's bullies everywhere you go." Lee Seng commented. He watched as the thugs rose into the air as he stuck his hands into his jacket pockets. "And it seems bullies don't know who they're messing with."

"You little–"

Lee Seng's ears twitched. HIs eyes noticed something small flying straight at him. In an instant, a barrier flew up, blocking the object flying at him. It was a small bullet. He noticed another Thug with a pistol. The thug took more shots, watching the bullets come to a stop in the flow of gravity.

"Sit." Lee Seng ordered. The thug with the pistol immediately felt a pressure force him to sit down. Lee Seng pointed his finger at the shooter and flicked it towards him. The shooter flew into the clump of thugs as Lee Seng forced them to kneel before him.

"Who's the ringleader?" Lee Seng asked. "It obviously can't be you." He pointed at Thug #1. "You just like violence. And the rest of you are stupid. Who's your boss?"

"Y-you!" Thug #1 managed to shout. "Do you not know who we work for? Lady B-Beth if she finds out about this–"

"You said the Lords and Ladies won't know anything here." Lee Seng knelt down and grinned at Thug #1. "And If I'm correct, nobody will say anything even if I hurt you a little bit, right?" Thug #4's arm cracked, erupting into a scream. The other Thugs grew scared as Lee Seng stood up straight.

"I-I can't tell you!" Thug #1 shouted.

Thug #5's leg cracked.

"Tell him!" Thug #2 screamed.

"I can't!" Thug #1 shouted.

Thug #2's ribs broke.

"I can't tell you! I can't! IF I do… I-I–" The rest of the thugs erupted in screams as Lee Seng released the hold on them. He sighed and moved over, lifting his left hand out of his pocket and over the group.

[Heal has been used.]

The Thug's broken bones and injuries instantly healed. This. This scared the entire lunchroom.

"Light magic!" They screamed. "What the fuck is that?!? Light down here?"

"Told you." The woman looked at the man. "You should've done something."

"Why is this my problem?" The man asked. He kept his eyes glued on Lee Seng. "So what if he has Light magic? What's that gonna do to us?"

"Lord Varjo warned us about him. If Takio hears his thugs got hurt by this unknown Lord's Collector he'll–"

"Hey you, asshole!" A male voice shouted from the second floor. Lee Seng turned and watched a Japanese man launch himself at him. "How dare you handle my men like that?!?" Takio pulled his sword out and swung the energized weapon at Lee Seng. In one motion, Lee Seng summoned his katana and blocked the attack.

"There he goes." The woman sighed. "You should've done something." The man ignored her. He was more intrigued by Lee Seng. Something about him told him the newbie would be interesting. Wind whipped around the lunchroom as Lee Seng and Takio pushed against each other. Lee Seng shoved Takio back and watched him land twenty feet away.

"Who are you?" Lee Seng asked. "Their ringleader?" He pointed at the thugs and they all cowered. His Light had scared them.

"So what if I am?" Takio asked. "What're you gonna do about it?" Lee Seng shrugged and dismissed his weapon. Takio sneered as Lee Seng looked at his food. He was more hungry than 'wrathful' in his judgment. "Rookie! Answer me!"

"Lee Seng." Lee Seng told him his name.

"Huh?"

"That's my name. What's yours?" Lee Seng asked, pulling his food to him. He took a scoop of congee and ate it.

"Why should I tell you my name? Why aren't you scared? I'm more powerful than them!" Takio shouted.

"I believe you." Lee Seng truthfully spoke as he ate his food. His stomach was growling and he didn't need to do anything. He had already done enough.

"I'm Takio!" Takio shouted. "Give me your attention, Lee Seng! A rookie like you should–"

Lee Seng instantly appeared in his spot with the katana pointed at his neck. Takio gasped as it took him a bit to realize there were two Lee Sengs now. One was right in his face while the other one was still stuffing his face.

"I'd be careful if I were you." Lee Seng spoke with his mouth full. "I'm just hungry and want to be left alone. I don't need to cause more of a ruckus. Lord Cain would be mad if–"

"Lord Cain?" Takio shouted. The murmurs of Lord Cain grew loud.

"Is that him?" A Debt Collector asked.

"Is that the one who got personal training?" Another asked. They all definitely heard the rumors of Lord Cain taking in a Debt Collector. They didn't know who it was but it happened to be this young man in front of him. The Lee Seng image in front of Takio took a step back, watching him. Lee Seng knew revealing Lord Cain would make most think twice about doing anything.

"He's Lord Cain's fist Debt Collector?" The woman asked, appalled. She looked at the man. He was standing up now. "Viscount, what do we–"

"Lee Seng, right?" Viscount appeared behind the real Lee Seng. Lee Seng turned around, noticing a very well dressed man in front of him. "You're Lord Cain's Debt Collector? My name is Viscount Sidmouth. I'm one of Lady Esme's high-end Debt Collectors. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lee Seng." The Viscount stuck his hand out.
