Understanding the message, Rifindio stepped forward. "So you are the Abyssal Soul, uh?"

Rifindio shook his head with no intention of answering. Well, he heard from the twins, but the twins didn't explain to him how they knew about it. Rifindio wouldn't be able to answer anyway. The shard got slightly confused. Rifindio spoke of its race, but he now didn't seem to know much. "I'm an Abyssal Beast... or at least I was. Only my soul remains after all these years. Knowing more about us won't do you any good, and it might bring you more trouble instead."

"I still want to know. You have no need to worry about what could happen to me," Rifindio insisted.

"Very well," the Abyssal Soul relented. "Abyssal beasts are a race that can merge, eat, and control space like no other race in the Great Void. At least no other race I'm aware of. There you go. Does this suffice your curiosity?"

Sure enough, those words took everyone by surprise.
