Chapter 50: Chapter 50 – Photo Session [3]
Having said that, the siblings walked into the café without complaining. Mr. Taka smiled brightly as his plan was coming together nicely. The dark circles around his eyes faded slightly, but it was still apparent.
Just four more people to wait, then he could rest. If this program succeeded, then as a marketing team leader, his job would be limited to ordering his subordinates around.
'A little bit more.'
His smile widened as he saw two more people entering the HQ. They were a pair that unexpectedly blended together very well, Breeze and Flexy.
If one asked him the best decision he made for the last year, he would answer it without hesitation. It was to find the unique and unexpected newbie streamer called Breeze.
Not only was he young and had potential, but he also gave Mr. Taka a good impression as a polite boy in their first meeting.
Also…
'If I can rope him in to become Biozone Entertainment's affiliated streamer… Just a little bit more...'
A thought flashed in Mr. Taka's mind. He could imagine that Breeze would definitely rise. His intuition as a senior corporate worker was telling him.
'... And I can get a promotion! He's the golden goose that can lead me to a good rest. I can't let the others take him! I will be the one who sign him with Biozone Entertainment.'
Naturally, his treatment toward Breeze would be slightly different from StoneSword's from earlier, as he was his favorite streamer in this program. He spread his arms wide and welcomed them.
"Welcome! We've been waiting for you!"

A few minutes ago, in Sky Rail station right across the Biozone Entertainment HQ.
Max stepped out of the Sky Rail with a perfect poker face. He learned how to create one on his way here by watching a tutorial.
But it was soon ruined as his lips curled up into a smirk.
'Learning everything is so easy now. To think that even a poker face tutorial will be that detailed. There is even a hologram model that I can use to synchronize my face with it perfectly to make a poker face.'
He was in a good mood and exited the station with a smile.
However, Max immediately put up his poker face again when he saw someone unexpectedly standing with open arms as if trying to embrace him standing right outside the entrance.
"Hahaha! We finally met, my friend! It's me, Flexy!"
Many people looked at them with strange gazes. They walked away from them and whispered something to their companions.
Standing beside Flexy was an elegant woman in a suit wearing an apologetic expression. She seemed to be embarrassed just to be seen standing next to Flexy.
'I am really thankful I watched that tutorial. If not, I would definitely have that expression too.' Max thought as he heaved a sigh.
As much as he wanted to push Flexy away for being an embarrassment in public, he couldn't do that because his destination was right in front of him. Besides, he owed Flexy a lot to ignore him too, so he greeted him back.
"Good morning, Flexy. It's nice to meet you IRL for the first time." He shook Flexy's hand expressionlessly while observing him.
Just like his character in Knight's Journey, even the real person wore a color that stood out a lot. It was no exaggeration to say that he was built to stand out among the crowd.
"Hahaha, it's nice to meet you too. I see that you're not as thin as yesterday. Did you buy a B-grade nutritional supplement by any chance? That stuff is really great, right? I am thankful to the scientists developing them. I don't need to work out as hard to get an ideal body with the supplement!"
Flexy kept talking energetically as if he was with his best friend, something that Max found a little bit too much.
He enjoyed talking with people, but when the other party didn't even give him a chance to speak, it became too overbearing.
Thankfully…
"Flexy, it's time to meet Mr. Taka. Please head inside first; I will park the car in the basement parking lot."
Flexy's secretary, Lisa, stepped up to stop him. Max showed his gratitude toward her, and she nodded as if saying, 'Just leave it to me!' while pushing her glasses up.
"It's already time?" Flexy asked, looking slightly disappointed. "Well, it can't be helped. Let's meet Mr. Taka and take the best picture. I believe StoneSword has already arrived, knowing how punctual he is."
'StoneSword?'
Max's eyebrows raised slightly as he heard an interesting name.
'So he's also invited. But… How did Flexy know about it?'
He looked at the orange-haired streamer curiously.
The other party noticed and grinned.
"Connections are important. I got a leak from an insider." Flexy answered and began to walk toward the building.
Max followed right beside him and nodded.
"That's really convenient."
"It is."
They entered the building together and were greeted by Mr. Taka. The marketing team leader looked happy when they saw both of them, gesturing for them to go to the café first while waiting for the last pair.
That offer made Max happy. Last time, he couldn't get to drink that hot Chocolate with Oats. This time, he wanted to try it because he had taken a liking to it.
When he went to the café, he found a familiar face sitting in the corner. His eyes widened slightly in surprise, but he quickly recomposed himself and waved his hand when he saw her looking at him.
The girl, Lily, waved back softly before continuing to munch on a cake. She seemed to enjoy it.
'What's Lily doing here? And the one sitting in front of her… Who is that?' He asked in his mind.
It didn't take long before his question was answered by Flexy's energetic voice.
"Ah! As expected, you're already here." The orange-haired streamer approached the duo in the corner and stopped beside the man. "Long time no see, StoneSword. You still look as stiff as ever when you're not streaming."
'So that's StoneSword.' Max nodded as he stayed still, watching Flexy talking to StoneSword.
StoneSword smirked and looked up, "And you're as loud as ever, Flexy. Pin your voice down a little bit. My little sister doesn't like loud noises."
"Oh?" Flexy looked to his right at the girl who stared at him dangerously, "Sorry! I didn't know that you hate loud noise. Anyway, I will talk normally now. Nice to meet you, StoneSword sister. My handle name is Flexy! Feel free to call me anything you want."
"… Lily. And don't talk to me." Lily answered shortly and stood up, walking away from the two of them.
Flexy's smile froze as he looked at his hand, which stayed in the air. Another hand grabbed and shook it; it was StoneSword.
"I told you she hated noises. Also, I never saw her talk to a boy before, so don't mind it too much."
"Yeah… Well, it can't be helped." Flexy shrugged his shoulders, "Anyway, I want to introduce you to my new pal. He's standing over there."
He turned around and pointed at Max. But once again, he froze as he saw him talking to the girl who had just left him alone.
'Huh? What is this difference in treatment between me and Breeze?' Flexy thought, confused. 'Is it because I am loud? No, rather… How is that guy talking to that girl smoothly like that? He's unexpectedly good.'
StoneSword looked surprised when he saw his sister talking to a boy.
"Oh? It's rare to see her smiling like that. Who is that guy?"
"He's Breeze." Flexy answered as he let out a sigh, "Well, you must've heard about him if you played Knight's Journey lately. He's that wall run guy."
"I watched his video before." StoneSword nodded. A smile appeared on his face, "So that was why she always seemed to be so out of it and suddenly able to do a wall run. I see…"
Looking at StoneSword's expression, Flexy couldn't help but shudder and took a step back.
"Hey hey, you look so scary right now. Are you that kind of guy? Dude, keep your expression in check! Malicious rumors will spread if someone misunderstands the situation."
"I know. I am not mad, just a little bit jealous."
"Seriously?"
Flexy didn't believe what StoneSword had said. The expression he showed earlier was more than a little jealous.
But… it seemed interesting.'
'I never thought this rock-like guy would have this kind of personality.'
Flexy looked at his friend, Max, who went to the machine to order something with Lily. An amused smile appeared on his face.
'My friend, it seems like you will have a bit of difficulty in the future. Good luck!'
He never expected this kind of situation to unfold. It was interesting.
Oblivious to the conversation between the two veteran streamers, Max felt cold sent down his spine.
'Did someone curse me? It must be that Bloodsucker… He must've cursed me for baiting him to donate a huge amount of money.'
"Are you okay?" Lily asked worriedly as she peered into him.
Smiling, Max answered, "I am okay. Just feeling a little cold."
"I see..."
