Married to the Boss: A Love in Disguise Chapter 127

Not long after Adam left, Lumma woke up.

She had a lot of messy dreams last night, dreaming of a lot of people. But the strange thing was that Adam was in each of her dreams.

Lumma hurriedly got up and went to the bathroom to sober up by washing her face with cold water.

She told herself that she could dream of anyone in the future, but she must never dream of Adam After washing up, Lumma went downstairs. She thought she was the first to wake up, but Adam was already having breakfast in the dining room on the first floor.

She greeted him immediately. “Mr. Hills, good morning!”

“Morning.” Adam nodded, pointing to a new plate of food on the table. “That’s yours.

“Thank you, Mr. Hills!” Lumma wasn’t timid and started to eat after sitting at the table.

Adam finished eating first and wiped his mouth gracefully. Seeing that Lumma had been respectful to him again, he felt a bit upset and asked knowingly, “Where did you go last night?”

“Last night?” Lumma was unconscious last night and remembered what had happened after thinking for a while. “Astrid invited me to dinner, so I went with her together.”

Adam raised his eyebrows and asked, “Who is Astrid?”

Lumma said. “It’s Mr. Mandy’s daughter. They invited you to lunch yesterday.”

Adam didn’t even remember the name of the person he had just met yesterday.

It was quite a cruel fact. But fortunately, Astrid had let go of him..

Adam didn’t remember the name, but he did not forget what had happened at noon yesterday.

In other words, the woman who kissed Lumma in front of him last night was Astrid.

“Is she going to win Lumma’s heart because she failed to win mine?”

Adam thought quietly. He looked at Lumma worriedly and said, “Did she do anything to you?”

Lumma didn’t know Adam’s thoughts, so she kept praising Astrid. “Miss Mandy is very nice. We got along very well, and I like her very much.”

Adam frowned slightly. “How long have you known her? And now you’re saying that you like her.”

Lumma said, “Whether it’s friendship or love, I think it depends on the feelings and fate, not how long one has known another.”

Adam said, “So she asked you out simply because she wanted to make friends with you?”

“She asked me if you are really married.” Lumma put down her cutlery, looked up at him, and said seriously, “Mr. Hills, if you really have no other intentions, why don’t you announce your marriage?”

“Why should I tell others about my private affairs?” Adam always felt that marriage was his own. business, so he didn’t announce it to the public.

Lumma muttered softly, “You’re perfectly aware that many women admire you a lot.”

“So what?” Adam knew about this, but he had never paid attention to those women.

So what?

He actually asked like that!

Lumma was a bit angry.

She felt fortunate that Adam was not her husband. Otherwise, his shameless remarks might piss her off.

“Why are you so silent?”

“Mr. Hills, you told me to be silent while eating and sleeping.” Lumma didn’t know why she was so courageous and even dared to refute him.

Fortunately, Adam didn’t continue to ask. Lumma quickly finished her breakfast and said, “Mr. Hills, I’m full. I’m going to prepare the meeting materials first.”

Adam lit a cigarette, took a puff, and said casually, “If you’re full, just finish what you just said.”

Lumma was speechless.

What else could she say? She wasn’t his wife, and no matter how messy his relationship might be, it was none of her business.

“Well?” Adam asked oppressively.
