Arty approached Adam and said mysteriously, “I saw that your wife and her boyfriend are also eating at this restaurant. Do you want to go over and say hello?”

Adam turned sideways to look inside, and sure enough, he saw the disgusting pair

talking and laughing…

“Let’s go.” Adam got up and headed outside. He had no appetite when he was in the

same space as the pair.

Arty hurriedly caught up with him and gloated. “Adam, after all, you are a couple. Just let things end well between you. You are not the only man who is cuckolded in the

Adam asked unhappily, “Did you inform her about the divorce tomorrow?”

Arty took out his mobile phone. “I’ll notify her right away. Don’t worry. As long as she’s

in Soothy City, she won’t be able to escape.”

Lumma and the others were eating happily when the personal cell phone in her bag

buzzed.

When Lumma answered the call, she heard Arty say, “Ms. Louis, I forgot to tell you that the one-month cooling-off period for your divorce with Mr. Bergman has expired. Remember to come to City Hall at

nine o’clock tomorrow morning to have a divorce.”

Lumma replied, “Okay.”

Ruby blurted out, “Promotion, raise, and dead husband?”

Lumma smiled. “Pretty much. The lawyer told me to have a divorce tomorrow, and I will soon be single again. Although I used to live like a single woman, I was married anyway and didn’t dare to think about handsome guys.”

Harry and Ruby said, “It’s perfect for you. We must celebrate tonight.”

Lumma replied, “Okay, how about a drink?”

Before she had finished drinking, her personal cell phone rang again. Seeing that it was her grandmother Maria Louis calling, she raised her eyebrows slightly, “Grandine, Harry, Ruby, and I are eating out.”

But a strange voice said on the phone, “Lumma Louis? Your grandmother is seriously !!! and is in Soothy Hospital…”

There was no flight from Red Pine City to Soothy City that night, so Lamma bought ticket for the next morning.

After two hours of flight time, the plane landed smoothly at Soothy Airport.

After receiving the call last night, Lumma was so worried that she stayed up all night,

She had been busy for the past few weeks. She hadn’t called Maria for a long time. The last time she talked to Maria, Maria was fine. She had no idea why Maria had suddenly

become seriously ill…

After getting off the plane in a daze, Lumma turned on her personal cell phone and got a

call.

Lumma was so afraid of hearing bad news that her hands shook. “Hello…”

It was Arty on the phone. “Ms. Louis, we agreed that you and Mr. Bergman will have a divorce at City Hall at nine o’clock today. It’s past nine o’clock. Why aren’t you here

already?”

Arty was very worried. If he screwed up, Adam would not let him go.

It wasn’t bad news. Lumma breathed a sigh of relief, and it took her several seconds to remember that she had promised to divorce Adam today. “Sorry, I don’t have time these

days. I will contact you later.”

Arty listened to the beeps and thought that his life would be lost. “Adam, today is not a good day for divorce. Why don’t we choose another day?”
