Liam pursed his lips and whispered, “Congratulations on winning the lawsuit today.”

Liam frowned, “Why would I be disappointed?”
Celeste barely lifted her eyelids, half–closing her eyes as she looked at him. “you even managed to get Mr. Hector on board, really sparing no expense.”
She had heard that Hector’s attorney fees were very high, and it wasn’t just about having money, but also status and connections.
Sydney might not have been able to get him, but Liam definitely could.

After listening to his explanation, Celeste finally said, “If you didn’t know, then why did you show up at the trial?”
Liam hesitated for a moment before answering, “Someone sent me a letter telling me to come and watch the trial.”
Celeste couldn’t hold back any longer “Liam, if you can’t come up with an excuse, just stop talking! A simple letter brought you here? What about when I called you so many times during my accident? Why didn’t you answer? Is a letter more important than your wife?”
Liam: “I’m not lying to you.”
Celeste put on her headphones, turned her head to look out the window, and ignored him.
After the other passenger got out of the car, the driver headed straight for the his house.
As soon as they got to the mansion and got out of the car, Mr. Robinson was already waiting for us behind the door.
“Young Master, Mrs. Reed”
Mr. Robinson still used the same old titles. Celeste was anxious to know how Sienna was doing, so she didn’t bother with the title and asked quietly. “Mr. Robinson, how’s Granny?”
Mr. Robinson hesitated for a moment, glanced at Liam, and said with pursed lips, “I’ll take you to see her.”
