Chapter 954

They had talked it all out, and it was pretty clear who the undercover agent was.

The game host asked everyone to start painting fingers.

Nicolas took a sip of his tea, grinning. “Do we really need to point fingers? Mr. Reed is picking up the tab tonight.”

Trisha hadn’t quite caught on, “What? Who’s the undercover agent?”

Nicolas nodded to Liam, “It’s Liam.”

“Huh? Why him?”

“Liam is short–sighted. How could he possibly use contact lenses only once?”

Trisha began to get it, but not entirely, still full of curiosity. “So what is he?”

Nicolas laughed, “We’re ordinary daily necessities, but he, he’s special items”

As a married woman, Celeste already knew what “special items” meant. But Trisha, the innocent girl, kept asking, “What special items? Can you be clearer?

Nicolas whispered, “Condoms ”

Trisha blushed and remembered what Liam had said about “only used once, instantly widening her eyes.

So he and Celeste have always been unprotected?

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!

Should she be hearing this?

Looking at Liam’s nervous face, Celeste suddenly felt glad that she came as someone else today. Otherwise, she’d be embarrassed along with him.

Aside from being smart at work, Liam was kind of dumb in his daily life.

When she hinted at him just now, he confidently gestured to her. She thought he really got it, but it turned out he didn’t have a clue. He probably thought he was the same as everyone else

This dummy

Thinking about it, Celeste found it funny again

Liam became the star of someone else’s wedding night.

Simon joked. “Liam, what does it say on your paper? I’m really curious, what kind of thing is better the thinner it is, needs to be changed halfway through, and yet you only used it once? Why don’t you open it up and have a look?”

Liam expressionlessly tore up the note in his hand with a “no comment”

Which led to another round of teasing from everyone

Celeste suddenly realized that Liam was actually quite popular among these friends. Even though he was not very talkative, and his expression always seemed senous, he didn’t really get angry when people joked about him.

She didn’t have much contact with his friends before, and her few unpleasant encounters with them had made her instinctively compare these people to Kaylee Reed’s friends

She always thought that his friends didn’t like her and looked down on her because of their different backgrounds, so she didn’t want to interact with them.

But in fact, not one of his friends gloated after her divorce from Liam. Whether it was Simon, Nicolas, or Mason, they’ve all been helping her.

If they used to look down on her, then there would be no need to help her after the divorce. Even if it was because of Liam, there would be no need to cater to his ex–wife after the divorce

Maybe she was somewhat prejudiced, but the real problem was Liam didn’t let her interact with his friends. Otherwise, how could she have such thoughts?

Nicolas excitedly urged “Let’s go, let’s go, time to pay up.”

Liam was a bit dizzy from the alcohol. He took a card out of his wallet and put it on the table, saying in a deep voice, “Again, if I lose again, I’ll pick up the tab for the whole wedding.”

Celeste was a little nervous.

Is he drunk?
