No anesthesia required, three minutes per pet. Don’t worry about them being wild. Once they’re neutered, they become docile and won’t dare to bark at people.”
Everyone was taken aback. Was she implying something with that?
It seemed Molly got the hidden message and got pissed off. But before she could retort, Celeste said, “Here it is.”
She then opened her handkerchief, and in Molly’s palm was a tiny, fluffy and gray thing munching on a peanut.

She only intended to punish Molly, not expecting Molly would throw the mouse onto the bride. If anything happened to the bride, she would definitely blame herself Molly was trying her best to shirk responsibility, blaming Celeste non–stop.
“You should apologize! You knew there was a pregnant woman here, why would you conjure a mouse? Now I’m implicated too!”
Simon frowned, “Miss Molly, if I recall correctly, Ms. Colton warned you multiple times to squeeze your hand, but your overconfidence made you ignore her. The bride was scared into the hospital because of you. If anything happens to her, you owe us an explanation!”
Molly was pissed, “How is this my fault? How was I supposed to know she’d conjure a mouse.”
“Enough” Mason grabbed her wrist harshly, causing Molly to wince in pain
Mason said in a low voice, “Apologize to the Rowleys on my behalf. We’ll visit them another time.”
Then he looked at Celeste, but before he could say anything. Celeste said, “You go ahead, I’ll take a cab back”
Mason clenched his jaw. “Wait for my call.”
Celeste didn’t reply, just watched silently as he left with furious Molly
As people started to leave, Celeste whispered to Liam as she passed him, “I’m going to the bathroom, wait for me.”
Liam gently patted her hand in understanding.
Liam didn’t drink much nor was the alcohol strong, he wasn’t drunk, but he didn’t feel well.
He remembered Celeste’s words and waited for her in the corridor
