Chester came out of the guest room and saw Liam standing at the end of the corridor. He walked over to greet him, “Liam, long time no see.”

of weight and kept mentioning you, as if she’s womed about you not having anyone to take care of you”

Celeste’s expression became complicated She’d been busy with work and hadn’t heard from Skyler for a while.

She knew Skyler had moved out of the Reed family’s house, but she hadn’t asked Liam about it.

She’d heard from Mrs Kelley that Skyler had rented a house in their neighborhood, apparently because she’d been kicked out by the Barlow family

She was busy at the time and hadn’t asked for details.

Now it seemed Skyler was desperate and was trying to play the sympathy card to get Liam to take her back

And Chester was obviously here to help Skyler.

“So you heard me getting in the car and ignored me?”
