Liam said, “You think I’m upset because I’m torn between her and you, don’t you?”

Liam took her hand and placed it on his forehead. “You don’t know her at all. This isn’t some pity trick, she’s forcing my hand. This time she involved Chester’s mother, next time she might disturb Mason or Nicolas’s family. She’ll use everyone close to me who’s unaware of the truth to put pressure on me it’s not something to be proud of to let everyone know about family problems, she’s just betting I’ll take her back for the sake of saving face.”

Celeste was speechless. She was certain, Liam must have had too much to drink, if he were sober, he wouldn’t say such harsh words.
