Chapter 488-Spirit Realm
Fairy Kingdom.
"Fairy King, the other kings have sent news that they cannot provide help as they are also occupied by the Insect race. Many have already fallen and been devoured by them," the minister reported nervously to the Fairy King.
The Fairy King, standing at 1.9 feet tall with six beautiful wings behind him, looked at the minister but remained silent, deep in thought.
"The Insect race is indeed persistent. I don't know how they managed to locate our Realm. We must fight and exterminate those insects. Gather the army and prepare for an all-out war," the Fairy King declared, displaying his unwavering resolve.
The minister nodded and promptly left to convey the king's decree. Once alone, the Fairy King sighed, recognizing the daunting odds they faced against an Insect race that outnumbered them, and even had a Transcendental Being among them.
"So, the prophecy of our ancestors is true, huh? But even now, the hero has not shown any signs," he mused.
Lost in thought, he noticed his daughter, Tracy, preparing to enter the war.
"Father, let me lead the troops to exterminate the insects."
Tracy had become more beautiful and mature. She is now a Divine Emperor, and finally managing to escape being grounded.
"No, Tracy, you should remain in the palace. You are the future ruler of the Fairy Kingdom," the Fairy King insisted, concerned for his only child's safety.
"No, Father, let me fight. I can protect myself. How will others believe in me as the future ruler if I do not have the courage to face our enemies?"
Tracy asserted, displaying her stubborn determination to fight for her race.
Moved by her conviction, the Fairy King sighed again, feeling troubled.
"Here, take this. It should protect you against the attacks of the Insect Lords."
He handed Tracy a special armor, a treasured relic of their race. Tracy was stunned and immediately rejected the offer, expressing her concern that if she failed and the armor was stolen, she might become a disgrace to their Fairy Race.
The Fairy King shook his head and insisted, "You are my only child, and your life is more important to me. Please be careful, and always remember that I am proud of you."
Touched, Tracy's eyes moistened. She knew that her father loved her deeply, disciplining her for her own good.
Despite being grounded, she harbored no grudge, understanding that it was for her benefit and that she wouldn't have met her new friends if not for being grounded.
Boom!
As they were talking, a commotion erupted outside, and a servant rushed to them, visibly sweating.
"King, dozens of women have appeared outside, led by an angel. They claim to be acquaintances of the princess," the servant reported.
"The General didn't believe them and tried to capture them, but he was easily defeated by the angel."
The Fairy King and Tracy were stunned, exchanging worried glances.
Tracy murmured, "No, I told them not to come."
Tracy hurried to see them, and the Fairy King followed. As they arrived, they witnessed numerous guards lying on the ground, beaten but still alive.
Tracy was furious, shouting, "What are you doing? They are my friends! How dare you hurt them!"
The guards, realizing their mistake, knelt and begged for forgiveness. Tracy ignored them, focusing on her friends.
"We came to help, little girl," Gabriella said, looking at Tracy.
Rose, Susan, Lina, and all of Dave's women were present behind her. They had rushed to help Tracy without informing Dave.
Tracy, moved by their gesture, insisted, "No, it's dangerous. You should go back and not bother."
Rose smirked and replied, "Hehe, are we friends? How can we let you be in danger?"
The other girls nodded in agreement, and Susan added, "Trust us, we are powerful now."
Tracy was shocked when she observed the cultivation levels of the girls.
"What? Peak Divine Monarch? How is that possible?"
She was stunned because she realized that the speed of the girls was fast, and their aura was not weaker than that of a low-tier Divine Monarch.
"We are training with Gabriella and joined the War Legion led by her. Dave also gave us a boost, hehe,"
Sophia laughed, and the girls blushed. Tracy, however, didn't fully comprehend what she was saying.
"By the way, what happened? Why are you beating them?"
Tracy asked, looking at Gabriella, who had become more powerful than before.
"They wanted to capture us when they saw that we were beautiful and trying to take advantage of us. If they didn't belong to your race, I would have already killed them,"
Gabriella explained, expressing her disdain for those who would harm and exploit women.
Tracy, furious at the guards, declared, "How dare you harm and have designs on my friends! You will be at the front when I lead the war."
The guards were scared, but they didn't dare to speak up. The fact that the King didn't intervene implied his approval, leaving them in despair.
They hadn't expected these women to truly be the friends of the princess.
"Capture them,"
Tracy commanded the guards, deciding that they would be released after the war if they survived.
"Let me introduce you to my father. He is the Fairy King Oberon,"
Tracy said, gesturing towards her father. The Fairy King smiled and greeted them warmly.
"I am glad that Tracy has such friends," he expressed, surprising Tracy, who didn't anticipate her father's respectful attitude toward them.
She didn't know that the Fairy King was nervous because he saw Gabriella, and a memory appeared in his mind. However, he suppressed his nervousness.
The girls bowed to him and greeted him back.
"Tracy, lead them inside the palace and accommodate them,"
Oberon commanded Tracy, who nodded and led them. Gabriella didn't join them and instructed the girls to wait for her.
They didn't know what she was going to discuss with the Fairy King, but they didn't press for details.
Gabriella looked at Oberon, who swung his hands to create a barrier and then knelt in front of her, offering his respect.
"I pay my respects to the War Angel, Archangel Nevaeh,"
Oberon said, stunned upon recognizing her. Even now, he vividly remembered the face of the strongest angel who had managed to defeat many demon lords and was the pillar of the angel race.
