Chapter 544
Dave knew that convincing these old folks was hard, but he, a guy who hated negotiation, could use force if he wanted. He rarely negotiated with others and was keen on getting what he wanted.
Dave looked at everyone and said, "Let me go there. I think something is calling me. Don't worry, I won't do anything bad to your race and plane, but if you insist on stopping me, well, I might show you my powers."
Dave looked at the four kings, and his eyes turned into a deadly aura, making them feel suppressed.
His aura silenced everyone in the room, and even Gabriella could feel the strong aura of her master.
His aura was different from before because he was now the Lord of Chaos, and his dignity as a Lord was not to be underestimated.
"What?"
The four kings couldn't breathe and realized that even though Dave seemed calm and gentle, he was more terrifying than Gabriella. They didn't doubt his words, and they suddenly felt fearful.
"Lord, mercy, let me convince them."
Suddenly, an old elf appeared in front of everyone, and the four kings were shocked because they saw a familiar face, a legend to the spirit race.
"Alchemy Emperor!"
The Elf King was shocked and didn't expect to see the legendary Alchemy Emperor alive in person.
He was not born yet when the four emperors of the spirit race were at their peak, but he had seen images of the four emperors in their library.
The four emperors of the spirit race are the Alchemy Emperor from the elf race, the Formation Emperor from the fairy race, the Weaponsmith Emperor from the dwarf race, and the Talisman Emperor from the druid race.
The four emperors were not the strongest of their race during the peak of the spirit race, when they had many powerhouses, but their expertise in their fields made them the foundation of their spirit race. Even top races like the Dragon Clans were wary of them because they had huge connections to many powerhouses.
The Alchemy Emperor was known to be the strongest of the four emperors and was also called the one closest to reaching the God of Alchemy, a level no one had attained.
The Alchemy Emperor had a vast network, with many indebted to him. Even Gods had tried to invite him to serve them, but he refused, preferring to support the spirit race on his own terms.
He was a legend that even their ancestors didn't dare to offend, and his words carried a lot of weight in their spirit race. Sadly, he had disappeared millions of years ago due to an attack by the demon clan.
They had waged war against the demon clan because of his death, and many who were indebted to him had helped their race avenge the Alchemy Emperor.
Sadly, they had lost the war, their powerhouses were killed by the demon clan, and some were left slumbering and recovering from their injuries.
"Oh, I thought you all had forgotten about me."
Eldrich looked at everyone, scanned the whole Spirit Realm, and sighed.
"Looks like the spirit race has become this weak."
He looked at the four kings, who didn't dare to meet his gaze and were ashamed of themselves.
"Lord, we thought you were dead. The ancestors took revenge for you, but we lost miserably. The other three emperors were captured by the demon clan while others were killed or injured in the battle."
"Our plane is also weakening every day, so we cannot produce more powerhouses."
The Elf King explained, and Eldrich seemed to understand. He looked at them, then at Dave, and said:
"The other kings are captured?"
Eldrich was stunned, knowing that the demon race must have had eyes on them from the beginning, and his death resulted from his rejection to serve the demons.
"My master wants to enter the Lake of Fate, so how dare you oppose him?"
He looked at them, and they were shocked, not expecting that the one they worshipped and revered was also a subordinate of Dave.
The four kings didn't dare to speak, unsure of what to do.
Suddenly, ten auras of Celestial Immortals appeared before them, shocking the four kings.
These Celestial Immortals, who had sensed the disturbance, arrived to see what was happening.
"Ancestors!!"
The four kings didn't expect that the commotion would awaken the injured ancestors of their clan. However, Dave noticed they were injured, and one seemed close to death.
"Alchemy Emperor," they exclaimed, kneeling before Eldrich with delight.
Despite the passage of millions of years, their reverence for him, the Alchemy Emperor who had helped them reach their current level when they were weak.
"Oh, aren't you all the troublemakers from back then in the academy? I didn't expect you to reach this level."
Eldrich seemed to remember them all. One of them had tried to snatch pills from the market before, but he was beaten back and even sentenced to jail.
Eldrich, seeing how pitiful he was, helped him and even gave him a pill.
The little guy had been injured by the beatings of the soldiers, but he didn't flinch or apologize for his actions.
Curious, Eldrich asked him why he had done it and learned that his mother was near death, leaving him no choice but to resort to such desperate measures.
Eldrich looked at them fondly. "You've all grown so much. It's good to see your strength has not gone to waste."
One of the Celestial Immortals, the one closest to death, spoke up with a pained but determined voice.
"Alchemy Emperor, we are honored to see you again. We have fought hard to protect our realm, but we are losing ground. Your presence gives us hope."
Eldrich nodded, then turned to Dave. "Master, these are my old students, the ones who have fought valiantly for the Spirit Realm. They are worthy of our trust."
Dave looked at the injured Celestial Immortals, his expression softening slightly. "Your dedication is commendable. I understand your fears, but I assure you, my intentions are not to harm."
The Celestial Immortals and the four kings exchanged glances, their resolve evident despite their injuries. They bowed deeply to Dave.
"We trust the Alchemy Emperor, and by extension, we trust you. Please, help us save our realm."
Dave nodded, his aura still powerful but now tinged with a sense of purpose.
"Very well. Let us proceed to the Lake of Fate. But before that, lets heal your injuries."
