Progenitor Vampire: I Have Many Skills!

Chapter 488 10 Million Years

Chapter 488 10 Million Years

Matthew quickly grabbed her and hugged her, preventing her from falling to the ground. "Isla? Why are you here all of a sudden?" he asked. But then he noticed Isla's heart was racing, and her body felt slightly different.

'Is it like she's more powerful?" he thought.

Isla looked nervous and extremely out of it when she saw him, smiling broadly with almost indescribable joy. "Matt..." She said once more and, without thinking, kissed him hard.

She flicked her tongue this time, taking the lead in the kiss, as she hugged him tightly. Although Matthew couldn't say no to this, he found it strange.

"What's the matter? You look worried and nervous. Don't worry about what happened before; I took care of that bastard and his teachers."

Isla shook her head quickly. "Matt, it's dangerous; you're fighting a very big colossus! It's been so long it's possible you don't remember, but they participated in the War 10 Million years ago!" She said suddenly.

Matthew was stunned.

He couldn't help but stare at her, but she looked up curiously after sensing a different aura. "The Aura of the Academic World?" she blurted out from her mouth, letting go of Matthew's grip.

Perhaps to try to look, but Matthew stopped her. "Wait, Isla. I have a question to ask you."

"What is it, Matt?"

"Are you still my little Isla?"

Isla looked at him in confusion but nodded shortly after with some embarrassment and lowered her head slightly.

Matthew then walked over to her. "Is it those memories again?" he asked, and she stared at him for a few minutes before nodding.

"...Matt, I... I may not know who I am, but I'm on your side, always." She spoke. And after a moment, she sighed. "...But I think we have a very long past."

Matthew frowned but nodded. "I know. You had to be alive ten million years ago for me to be able to grant you an ability, of which I'm sure. But how did you get here? I can't get an explanation for that." He replied.

Isla was also surprised by his answer and nodded. "Right..."

Not wanting to hide anything from him, she suddenly drew her sword and, in an extremely fast movement, swung it against her own arm, breaking it in a moment. Though her face contorted in pain, she did not scream.

Matthew was startled by that movement, but before he could even do anything, the broken arm began to reattach itself at a ridiculous speed. To the naked eye, the arm grew identical to the previous one. It wasn't the same arm; the broken arm was still there.

This almost confirmed Matthew's theory. "You..."

Isla smiled and bent down to grab the broken arm. She did something strange with her hands, and that arm soon turned to blood, which flowed back into her.

"I don't know why, but I think I'm immortal." The tender smile on her face could kill anyone. Also, her beauty had increased now that Matthew was looking at her more closely.

'Immortal... An Immortal existence. She's lived 10 million years? Impossible, then why did she have parents recently? In that vision, she was young and small. What the hell is going on?' No matter how hard Matthew tried to figure it out, he couldn't.

In the end, he was left with only one idea in mind. 'I have to ask Sophia Murphy. She was the one who found her; maybe she'll discover something new. But I'm sure that when I met Isla, she was traumatized. Her trauma is the best proof that she experienced a tragic past as a child.'

The more he thought about it, the more he realized the dots didn't connect. She couldn't live 10 million years and be traumatized by something like that. Besides, her trauma wasn't acted out.

Realizing all this gave Matthew a headache. He felt that the mystery was becoming even darker instead of clearer.

"May I ask what you remember?"

Isla smiled a little and then said to him. "Come, I sense an aura of the Academic World around here. You might find answers there that I don't know." She spoke.

Matthew followed her without question.

She then spoke after walking around a bit.

"Matthew, don't you remember? Actually, you and I were enemies in the beginning. I was human, and we once fought in a war."

Isla didn't look at him after saying this; she kept her eyes on the front.

"You changed my reason for being and even my being. When I was going to die in treacherous hands, you gave me a new identity, for we had always been in love. I, a small human with no identity, fell in love with the greatest man. The fear of the races, the son of the Great Dietrich. I even received the approval of the Great Dietrich, don't you remember?" She turned to look at him then.

Isla's loving smile told Matthew that she wasn't telling lies.

But his mind could remember nothing of what she was telling him. 'The son of the Great Dietrich... The Great Dietrich...' He kept repeating that name in his mind, but in the end, he found nothing.

He had no memory of that era, not even of his family, and he couldn't figure out why.

Even when Isla told him that in such detail, he couldn't remember anything.

He sighed and shook his head. "I can't remember anything. I don't understand why."

Isla smiled at him; though she was a little put off by it, she didn't bother him anymore. "I don't remember much either, really. There are a lot of strange memories in my mind right now. But I can remember our enemies; they were the ones who betrayed me, " she said, squeezing her hands a little.

Matthew stared at her and raised one of his hands to clasp hers. "Will you tell me who exactly they are?"

"Originally, the Prosperities Organization was a religion that sought money above all else, though they deluded themselves that it wasn't so. There was one for every race, but humans founded it."

"Humans hated vampires, even more so the Dietrich. I don't know why, but I remember that was why they put so much emphasis on entering that race as an Organization that sought a prosperity. But what other prosperity did the race need? They were the most powerful race. Dietrich didn't have to say anything before all the other vampires buried that organization."

"But after all, they had been messing with different races for thousands of years. They had great power, and when they all came together in one organization, they allied themselves with the great powers of the humans. At the same time, they received help from one more Clan." She said, pausing for a moment.

Matthew looked at her. "Which Clan?"

She smiled. "A Forgotten Clan. A Clan with a dignified and powerful status. The other Saint Clan of the Vampire Race: The Hill Clan."
