Chapter 464 Giant Worm (Part 2)

Chapter 464 Giant Worm (Part 2)

?

Kaizen and Xisrith crossed a scorching desert near the capital of Vrikhodour, knowing that the area was inhabited by a dangerous creature.

As they walked, they suddenly felt a tremor and knew immediately that the creature was near. Soon after, a giant worm emerged from the dunes, displaying its colossal monstrosity.

Determined to face the danger head on, Kaizen and Xisrith prepared for battle. The battle began with the players dodging the worm's brutal attacks, and then Kaizen activated the <Deep Cut> skill, causing the weapon to glow with an intense red aura. Soon after, with an agile and powerful movement, he advanced toward the giant worm, unleashing a terrible tempest and aiming for its head.

The Able Fury Spear sliced through the air with overwhelming force, leaving a trail of pulsating energy in its wake. Xisrith's eyes instantly widened in surprise. And at that very moment, Kaizen swung his spear with great force, focusing all of his energy into a single point. The blade of the spear struck the giant worm with a devastating blow. The creature's tough skin could not withstand the attack, and a deep wound was opened in its head. Greenish blood gushed from the wound as the monster roared in pain.

"Now!" Kaizen shouted, still in the air after the attack.

With that call, Xisrith awoke from the trance that Kaizen's movement had put her in and used the opening created by his blow to enter the fray. She moved quickly forward, delivering a series of blows with her red-bladed sword while still in the air. Each strike was so fast that ordinary reflexes couldn't even see them, and the slashes materialized in the air, forming slashes of energy that unashamedly struck the giant worm.

In the unrelenting heat of the desert, the bodies moved in perfect harmony to evade the brutal movements of the worm that was easily more than 200 meters long.

Moreover, the worm exuded a menacing presence with its scaly skin and sharp teeth. Its unparalleled endurance defied the limits of human understanding. With each blow from the players, the creature roared in pain and agony, yet it persisted, its resolve unshakable. In fact, it seemed that its size was so overwhelming that no matter how effective the attacks were, they did no significant damage.

But Kaizen, spear in hand, channeled pure power through his body. His spirit merged with his surroundings while his mind became as sharp as the blade of the spear. He sought to understand the nature of the giant worm, the way it moved and attacked, to find the breach in its impenetrable defense.

Xisrith, on the other hand, glided across the battlefield like a shadow. Her reflexes were surprisingly good, allowing her to dodge each of the worm's attacks with supernatural grace. Her red eyes glowed as she searched for the creature's weaknesses, those small moments of vulnerability that could be exploited.

The sand rose in swirls around the combatants, creating a veil of mystery and danger that could be seen from afar.

The wind now swayed with intensity, as if the desert itself were witnessing this epic battle.

For every move the players made, the giant worm retaliated with astonishing force. Its tail snaked through the air, threatening to crush everything in its path. Its jaws closed with terrifying speed, ready to tear at the flesh of the players. But Kaizen and Xisrith were one step ahead, their keen senses anticipating every attack.

Suddenly, Kaizen dove toward the worm, aiming for the monster's weakest point, where the scaly armor was thinnest from the previous blows. The blade of the spear pierced the flesh, slicing it with the force of thunder. Taking advantage of the distraction caused by Kaizen's attack, Xisrith created a whirlwind of red blades that danced in the air and struck the giant worm several times.

However, the giant worm did not surrender easily. Its endurance seemed to come from its own primordial essence. Every wound it inflicted regenerated at an accelerated rate, defying the notion of mortality. The monster continued to fight with an unrelenting fury, swinging its body in sinuous waves to fend off the players.

Kaizen and Xisrith exchanged determined glances, realizing that they needed to further increase their strength and synchronization to overcome the giant worm's unwavering resistance. In a moment of perfect synchronization, Kaizen formed a swirl of burning flames around himself. His aura intensified, radiating a fiery determination.

Watching Kaizen move, it was as if currents of energy flowed around his body, increasing his speed and agility to superhuman levels. In a coordinated move, the players attacked again. Kaizen unleashed a series of powerful strikes, his spear slicing through the air with deadly ferocity. Each blow was imbued with fire, designed to weaken the giant worm's defenses and disrupt its regeneration. Meanwhile, Xisrith performed a deadly dance around the creature, delivering swift and precise blows at key points. His vibrating sword created swirls of energy that sliced into the worm's flesh with unparalleled intensity.

The giant worm writhed and roared, feeling the pressure of the combined attacks. But even wounded and weakened, it did not retreat. Its resilient endurance defied the logic of most normal monsters.

Determined to overcome this adversity, Kaizen and Xisrith increased their synchronicity even more. Their auras glowed brightly, merging into a storm of fire and wind.

In a bold move, Kaizen leapt onto the giant worm's head, finding a strategic position. He focused all of his mana and, in a single devastating blow, aimed it with precision at the creature's thinking heart. Kaizen's spear pierced the worm's flesh, sending a wave of fire through its body. The monster trembled violently, its movements uncoordinated and its defenses weakened.

Taking advantage of the opening, Xisrith stepped forward and delivered a series of blows to a portion of the creature's belly. Each blow was an explosion of energy, damaging the creature's innards and weakening its unyielding resistance. With a final roar, the giant worm fell, its colossal body crumbling to the scorching desert sand.
