Chapter 185: Overwhelming Combat of Rin & Erix (1/2)
"People are coming to take our cave? Are they more powerful than us?" Klelia nervously asked.
"Well, there they are," Lilith spoke, and several people entered the cave.
It was a group of eight people.
The strongest was a middle-aged man with a long black beard and hair—a Royal-order powerhouse at level 300 (peak Royal order).
The second strongest was a man looking in his late twenties—a recently ascended Royal-order powerhouse, level 203.
The other six were three females and three males. One of them was a middle-aged woman, while others looked in their late twenties.
However, the peak Royal-order powerhouse's gaze directly stuck on Lilith after he entered. His eyebrows shook slightly before he quickly smiled.
"How about we solve this peacefully in a famous way?"
Hearing him, the others in his group were shocked.
"Elder Noll, that…"
'Elder Noll, can't we kill them normally? We can handle that Royal order, and others can fight with Noble orders. We outnumber them.'
'Shut up, you all. If we want this cave, then we can't fight them head-on. The noble orders will have to handle this task because the enemy Royal order can…easily overpower me.'
'…'
Everyone was speechless. The easy task they thought suddenly had a twist.
"If you want to do this peacefully, then you'll have to do this my way," Lilith said with a smile.
"Let's hear it," Elder Noll nodded.
"Rin, Erix. Do you two want some tough challenge?"
Erix and Rin raised their eyebrows before grinning and stepping forward as they stood beside each other.
Rin transitioned from her normal appearance to activation of her bloodline form as two beautiful and deadly crimson horns emerged from her forehead, along with a pair of dark red demonic wings and a tail.
Meanwhile, a pair of majestic dark-gold glowing blue patterned gauntlets appeared on Erix's hands while the rest of his body was covered in a thin and flowing dark silver karate-type outfit with black and dark gold patterns.
"If these two killed all of your Noble order powerhouses, then you'll have to give us resources that can satisfy us. If your people killed Rin and Erix, then this cave is yours."
"You mean two vs six?! Are you serious?" the level 203 Royal order powerhouse asked, dumbfounded.
The others were also startled but then felt glad.
"We agree," Elder Noll firmly and quickly replied. "I hope you don't go back on your words."
"But you may try to go back on your words," Lilith smiled. "But the problem is…
Lily chuckled and added from the side, "You won't be able to go back alive."
"Bingo," Lilith grinned and waved her finger, causing a black chain with menacing red patterns to appear around both enemy Royal Order powerhouses.
Elder Noll vanished from his spot before the chains could bind him, but the other one was unfortunate as he was trapped.
"I-I can't move, Elder Noll! My mana…h-how?"
"If you don't want to go with the peaceful way, then say it from the start. We'll leave," Elder Noll grunted as he floated ten meters high to Lilith's left, fifteen meters away.
"I am just holding you captive," Lilith smiled and snapped her finger. "Rin, Erix. You two can start now."
"Shit!"
"Attack!"
The six Noble order powerhouses were ready to cast their skills, so two of them who looked like assassins separated from the group, while two mages cast buff skills on themselves and the other three who stood before them with a sword, a spear, and a long bow.
They hurled their attacks towards Rin and Erix. Their skills were powerful, at Tier-3, and undodgable.
The swordman released a dark green slash, a mix of wind and darkness elements with pure offense.
However, the enemies couldn't even see properly with their weaker perception and couldn't sense correctly with weaker Spirit stat that….Rin slashed five times with her katana before the slash and dispersed its attack power.
She destroyed the attack.
Meanwhile, the other two attacks released from the Bow-ranger and spearman were handled by Erix.
*Boom!*
The spearman released a spiraling golden-red beam that zig-zagged at lightning speed, aimed at Erix's forehead.
As for the swordsman, he charged at Erix while wrapped in flames.
To counter those two, Erix made two actions within 1.5 seconds.
He first threw a punch in the air that vanished from his wrist and greeted the swordsman who reached halfway towards him. The powerful Whirlwind Punch was imbued with death elements and powered by his special metal gauntlet.
Second, a wormhole materialized right before his forehead that connected to another one that popped up behind one of the mages, a man looking in his twenties.
The wormhole caused the spearman's spiraling golden-beam attack to hit the mage.
Both mages seemed to be preparing some kind of spell right after they finished buffing the party, but the unexpected attack of their own companion killed one.
Lilith's eyes flashed, and she proactively absorbed the death power produced by that mage's death. She had to prevent any death power from going to Erix's source.
'Tsk, this torublesomething thing. A bit of it still went to Erix,' Lilith frowned.
"Fuck!" the level 203 royal order powerhouse cursed loudly. "Space?!"
'Their levels are low, but….their stats and powers,' Elder Noll was shocked before he calmed down. 'It's fine. They still have a chance if they fight carefully. They need to improve their combat ability and decision-making. Let's hope those two are not that experienced in combat.'
However, he was proven wrong in the next second and the following battle would only make him more shocked at Rin's and Erix's masterful combat styles and their self-created skills.
A second after the mage's death, two assassins who disappeared into the darkness of the cave walls emerged and released 'X' shaped projectiles toward Rin and Erix.
However, Rin took care of both of them while Erix grinned and snapped his finger.
Instantly, ten wormholes appeared.
"Weak," Rin snorted as she destroyed the enemy attacks with her powerful skill technique, Rend, which used Lightning and Wind in tandem for a superfast and lethal attack capable of cutting the skill's structure and dispersing them with her lightning.
It was a simple thing. Rin's lightning affinity was at level 3, and none of the enemies had a level 3 affinity.
"Throw more attacks," Erix said with a chuckle.
"Yeah. We need some challenge, but you all are too easy to kill," Rin wryly smiled. "So, at least show us what you got before dying."
"Argh!" The swordsman backed up as the remaining mage healed him with a skill.
"Stop!" Lilith shouted to stop the fight.
But the swordsman had already unleashed his most powerful skill with the sole goal of killing Erix.
