Chapter 209: Spada Valley's Wonder, Settlement
Chapter 209: Spada Valley's Wonder, Settlement
"What is this?" Erix asked with confusion, looking at the scery as the flying ship approached the Spada valley.
This Spada Valley wasn't like typical valleys.
Instead, this valley was situated betwe two reverse mountains hanging from the top, stretching ev higher than the furthest clouds.
At one or two glances, it would be hard to determine that these two colossus structures beside this thirty-kilometer-wide valley were upside-down mountains.
"They are the upside mountains," Lilith chuckled. "You can't see their upside-down mountain peaks from here, but they are not touching the g at all."
"Their peaks are slightly above the g, not touching the g, indicating that they are indeed upside mountains, hanging from land somewhere above."
"Crazy. I want to see how this was made, but I find this valley more interesting for now." Rin muttered while her eyes were focused on the long stretching valley that got darker and darker the further she looked ahead.
"This is our playg," Lilith's lips stretched a devilish smile. "We'll go thirty kilometers deep, get a house tree to ourselves, and continue what we were doing."
"But just this time…" Lilith looked at the mystical paper in her hand. "We'll have to fd off troubles and avert a disaster that will come at an unknown time."
"Lady Lilith, you determined that this place is best to face whatever that's coming for us?" Lily curiously asked.
"Yep," Lilith nodded as the ship continued moving deep in the valley. "The first fifty kilometers are safe, and people mostly live in this area. But after the fifty-kilometer mark, a thin membrane changes everything."
"Once you pass that membrane, the tire valley will transform. That valley is what people call Spada Valley. A region of darkness and death."
Lilith grinned, "Perfect for us and especially me. If I utilize myself carefully, I can kill Dark Sterling Val without much trouble."
"Y-You…I don't believe it," Lynia said, her weak but still fighting spirit left in her.
Maleina sighed. She felt it was hard, but looking at this group and Lilith, ev she felt that Lilith might be able to win against Dark Sterling Val.
"This is just my assumption," Lilith smiled, "I don't think your father will come here. As for disaster, it could be anything."
…
The group landed five kilometers away from the faint membrane that led to the umbral region, Spada Valley.
"This place is good," Lilith nodded as she looked a.
The group stood near a fast-flowing river stream and looked a. They also ssed several presces near them.
A bunch of trees and plants to the east and a small hill to the west.
A patch of shallow greery area in the north for a bit before trees once again started, and behind them was a blanket of trees, a thicking forest.
"Hey! Go to somewhere else! This area is under Trailbane guild's ownership."
Everyone turned to the left upon hearing the voice in the east, where a bunch of trees and plants were growing wild.
It was also the same place where they ssed presce and a particular mystical aura.
Most of the trees were 0 to 300 meters tall.
Out of those trees, there was one particular tree that could be described as "fatty." This tree had wide branches, a small height unlike other trees, and a thick, fat trunk that was twty meters wide!
It was a huge and big tree, but not tall. But one ev more extraordinary thing separated this tree from others.
It was a magical tree, a natural resource. It bore some colorful fruits Lilith was not aware of, but the tree's mystical aura indicated that it had varying effects on focus and meditation with its aura.
The one who spoke was on top of the widest branch that spanned an area of 500 square meters with three aesthetic tree houses built on it and still plty of space for outdoor kitchs and other miscellaneous items if one wanted.
"Can you please leave? It's best to avoid conflicts instead of making them," the short blond-haired woman wearing a light, full-body silver armor said. She had a beautiful face and pointy ears, indicating that she was an elf.
The other members of their group also emerged from the house and looked at them with frowns.
"Go away if you don't want needless blood. There are other trees like this here if you try to find them."
Rin chuckled.
"That's going to be our home until we leave," Erix said with a grin.
Lynia, Maleina, and Reinala looked at the people in that huge house with nothing but pity.
"Let's go there."
Lilith flew towards them while Lily, Erix, Rin, Kelia, and the other tree followed behind.
Seeing them flying, the people at the treehouse seemed to speak and flew towards them, standing near their tree's trunk.
Lilith and others arrived before the group, who took out their weapons and were prepared to fight.
"They have two Royal-order hunters, and the rest are Noble-order," the short blond-haired elf woman said with narrowed eyes, her Royal-order aura surging with Prana.
The man beside her was also a Royal-order hunter, a human. Along with them, a middle-aged black-haired woman wearing a witch-like hat was also a Royal-order hunter.
Behind them were eight people of varying ages, five m and four wom, all at Noble-order rank.
Lilith and the group arrived before them, standing t meters away.
'We must not kill them because Erix's progress wt down in the past sixte days, so it's less than 0% now.'
Lilith messaged everyone in the spiritual network connected for fast conversations.
'They can be good sparring partners, so just dominate them,' Lilith smiled.
"I would prefer not to battle," the elf woman said with a somber expression before pointing her long sword at Lilith, "but if you want us to vacate this tree, you will leave us no choice."
"I assure you, darling," Lilith smiled as she floated and sat on a dark-blood throne with crystalized designs, "Nobody will die, and you will also live peacefully."
"What do you mean?" the elf woman frowned before she muttered, "Nadia."
The busty middle-aged mage woman used a skill, creating a magic circle below them and buffing everyone as all of them received primary elemtal resistance and sev other various buffs that increased various types of defses.
"Relax," Lilith smiled. "You know the rules. You three Royal-order puppies will fight me, and your Noble-order ones will battle these two."
"Come on," Erix grinned at them while Nihilir Wisps floated a him.
*Crackle..*
With a sharp lightning crackle, Rin's surings became strange, flowing with colorful liquid starlight and lighting sparks.
