Chapter 1158: The Sixth Product(12)

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Aakesh was relaxing in his chair when he heard the sound of footsteps coming from outside the store. He opened his eyes and turned in that direction, finding an unfamiliar face coming toward the store.

It was Fedina, a female cultivator from the Deramac race. Deramacs belonged to the Demon group of races and were a mid-tier race.

Fedina was the current head of Deramac and its only peak Lesser God level cultivator.

Fedina looked as Deramacs did: a humanoid appearance with a bulky physique. Her skin was deep red, like other Deramacs. She had two pairs of hands and a pair of legs. Her eyes were a combination of white sclera and black pupils.

Fedina came to the store after learning about it from one of her sons, who had come to know about it from his friends.

Fedina would have ignored it, but something happened that forced her to take a chance and find the store.

A few days ago, Fedina received a shocking piece of news about the loss of one of her advisors. Deramacs had one peak Lesser God and two early Lesser God cultivators.

The two early Lesser God cultivators were her advisors, second only to her in the race hierarchy, and also a power center for the race.

Fedina later learned that the enemy race had killed her advisor, provoking Deramacs to start the war. The enemy race had conspired, and the ruler personally intervened, killing the advisor.

After learning that information, Fedina was left with two choices: either go to war or accept the loss and move on.

Accepting the loss and moving on wasn't possible at all. The remaining early Lesser God was the lover of the now-deceased advisor, forcing Fedina to make a choice. Even Fedina didn't want to give up on the revenge of her advisor since she was like a daughter to her.

Fedina was preparing to employ the same tactic as the enemies and assassinate the early Lesser Gods in the enemy camp, but then she heard a horrible rumor.

The enemies didn't become enemies with Deramacs and attack because of the extra Lesser God in the camp, but due to a powerful race acting as their support.

The territory the Deramacs controlled had something that interested the powerful race. But since Deramacs were nothing to take action against, they supported their enemy race.

The information about the store came as an oasis for Fedina in a hot desert. After learning about the powerful race acting against them, Fedina had no choice but to give up on their territory since that race had Supreme Gods in double digits in their camp. Even one was enough to raze the Deramacs, so it was impossible for Fedina to fight against such a race.

Fedina also anticipated that there would be a full-frontal assault on the Deramacs since no one would leave their enemies alive.

The store became extremely important in that case since it allowed Fedina to see an opportunity where the Deramacs could rise again.

***

Fedina stood in front of the building while several hundred of the Deramacs chosen by her to come with her were staying in an inn.

Fedina didn't believe that the enemies wouldn't find such movements made by her, so she decided to take the risk of becoming the first to step out in the open since she had the highest probability of surviving out of all the Deramacs in Thorr City.

Fortunately for Fedina, nothing of the sort she expected happened, and she safely reached the building. Fedina no longer feared for her safety since she had learned about the store owner and the store's customers from the citizens.

***

Fedina took a deep breath and stepped inside the store. The next moment, the view in front of her changed, and she found herself getting released from the sense-blocking array.

Her eyes then fell on the blue-skinned man seated on the chair. After hearing so much about Aakesh from the citizens, it was easy for Fedina to recognize him.

Fedina had only taken a step forward when she saw a large number of people stepping out of one of the rooms, and the people that were meditating a moment earlier now had hurried expressions.

Soon things returned to calm as the people coming out of the room left the store after bowing toward the store owner, barring some of them.

The next moment, Fedina saw a pair of chairs appear near the store owner as two beautiful women sat down. Fedina had heard about the only two people that were allowed to sit on chairs inside the store, so she recognized them.

"Hello, store owner!" Fedina greeted Aakesh. There was a slight hesitation in her voice, but she controlled herself and uttered it clearly without slurring.

Aakesh silently nodded in response to her greetings, while Katrina looked at Fedina, waiting to have some entertainment since the day was far from over.

"I am Fedina." She then introduced herself.

"I am Aakesh."

"Store owner, do you know about Geratic crystals?" Fedina asked since it was Geratic crystals that brought the powerful race's attention to Deramacs, forcing them to run.

It was the first time Aakesh to hear a question like this from a customer at the start. Even though it had nothing to do with the store's products, Aakesh still decided to answer since Fedina might use them to borrow from the store.

"Yes, Geratic crystals are used in weapons to make them more energy sensitive," Aakesh responded.

"How much will ten kilograms of Geratic crystals sell for?" Fedina asked since before escaping, she dug up however much she could.

Aakesh was surprised since Geratic crystals were expensive due to their uses. Aakesh didn't know the exact value of the crystals, so he asked the system.

"It depends on the purity of the crystals. If their purity is between 3 and 7%, one gram will sell for one ordinary Sacred stone. If the purity is between 10 and 15%, one gram will sell for ten ordinary Sacred stones

"If the purity is between 99 and 100%, one gram will sell for thirty supreme Sacred stones."

Aakesh shared the price of the Geratic crystals according to what he learned from the system.
