Chapter 303 - Progress

Chapter 303: Progress

After Jeetesh got his supreme card, all the clan members of the Esh clan bought three pills belonging to all categories, each.

"Store owner, are there spots available for Panagea?" One of the clan elders approached and asked Aakesh.

Panagea had given them a hope of getting alchemists, so they were eager to find a spot for their apprentices.

Aakesh looked at the customers waiting in his store and found that all the spots in the second group had gotten filled, but there were still a few spots left in the third group.

"There are seven spots left for the third group," Aakesh answered the clan elder, nervously looking at him.

"Third group?" A question mark appeared on the clan elder's face as he thought.

He then requested Aakesh to clear his doubts. Aakesh expressionlessly explained about the Panagea groups to the clan elder.

"Thank you, store owner. We would like to book seven spots," The clan elder respectfully told Aakesh after knowing the details.

Aakesh nodded and told him to book those spots using their supreme cards, and they could also get the information about the empty spots from their cards.

"Thank you, store owner," The clan elder respectfully thanked Aakesh again as he booked seven spots for the third group using his card.

The clan elder then approached his group and told about the availability of the seven spots to other clan elders.

After discussing for a while, they decided to randomly select seven members as a few clan elders wanted their relatives in the group of around a hundred apprentices to get the spot.

The clan elders then approached Jeetesh and requested him to select seven members out of the apprentices. Jeetesh nodded and randomly selected seven members.

One of the clan elders became excited, seeing the seven members as Jeetesh, their founder and the previous leader had selected since one of them was her daughter.

Even though the Esh clan was composed of relatives belonging to the same family, there was still competition between the elders. Only the position of Jeetesh's family was secure since he was the founder of the clan.

Other clan elders whose relatives weren't in the group of seven couldn't help but get jealous of their fellow elders. Since Jeetesh was here, they didn't dare to throw words at each other, so the whole affair of jealousy and pride passed silently.

After the seven members had gotten selected, the clan elder was going to order them to leave while informing the seven about Panagea and their return to the store when their time came, but he suddenly stopped.

"Dear customer, after leaving the store, your booking for Panagea would get nullified!"

Hearing the sudden mechanical alert in his head, the clan elder didn't order the members to leave right away.

Since leaving the store would nullify their booking, the elder ordered the clan members, except those seven members, to leave the store.

The clan elders then explained the purpose behind the stay in the store to the selected seven members.

"Does that mean we can do whatever we want until our booking time arrives?" One of the seven members asked, while excitement evident on all of their faces.

The next moment, the clan elder poured a bucket of cold water on their excitement as he told them that they couldn't leave the store.

"Mother, why don't you wait for us? Until then, we'll survey the town," The daughter asked her mother with a pleading look on their faces. How could they stay in the same place for hours when they had gotten outside their clan for the second time?

"It isn't allowed," The clan elder who had booked the spots interjected and told the group.

He did so because he had gotten another alert from the card that it wasn't allowed.

"That's enough, go and sit there," Jeetesh, who had been silent all this time, finally opened his mouth and ordered the group of seven apprentices to silently wait in the store.

The group who wanted to speak something didn't dare to after Jeetesh opened his mouth, as speaking something at this point was akin to insulting Jeetesh.

"I came here for a purpose," Jeetesh then looked at the clan elders and commented.

"Store owner, Gods & Demons training area for 113 overlord-grade weapons, and one for Immortal-grade weapon," The clan elders respectfully told Aakesh. He had tried to directly buy it from the card like the pill, but he had gotten alert that the Gods & Demons level training area can only be booked by the store owner.

After the clan elder made the order, the required amount of supreme Primal stones disappeared from his card.

When Aakesh got the alert from the system that the payment of one trillion, and one hundred and thirteen million supreme Primal stones had been done, he told the clan elder to go ahead and also told him the process of entering the training area.

The clan elder thanked Aakesh and then returned to his group.

Time flew by, and one hour passed in the blink of an eye.

During the past hour, several new customers entered the store. Some left right away after learning the prices, while some bought to their limits.

One such customer was Anita. Anita wasn't a citizen of the Bisan Kingdom but the neighboring Kingdom, the Blue Wyrm Kingdom. She was the eldest child of the current king.

Anita hadn't been able to attend the event as she was traveling with her master at that time. She had just returned today morning, but her father, the king, didn't even let her rest and forced her to go to the store in the Bisan Kingdom.

At first, she was unwilling as she had been out of the Kingdom for a few months and wanted to spend some time with her mother, the queen, but even her mother, who had cried when she had left to travel forced her to go to the same store, so she had no choice but to follow the order of her parents.

Her master, Joanne,  who was a peak Void Condensation expert, was also forced by the king to go to the store. Joanne wasn't only the teacher of Anita, but she was also her bodyguard. For a low-level Kingdom like the Blue Wyrm Kingdom, having a peak Void Condensation bodyguard for the princess was a big deal, but the king didn't care since Anita was not only the most talented child of the king, but she was also the favorite of all the princes and princesses.

Since the king had ordered, Joanne, like Anita, had no choice but to go to the store.

After reaching the store and learning the details of the products, they both thanked the king for sending them here.

Anita and Joanne both bought a new sword since they found a better sword in the store for almost half the price of the sword they currently had.

They also decided to train in the Gods & Demons level training area. Joanne didn't have enough stones to pay for her training, but since the king had sent Anita here with enough stones, she helped Joanne in paying the rest.

Immortal level: 168/10,000 hours,

Gods & Demons level: 155/1,000 hours.]

Aakesh was currently looking at the quest screen and its progress screen, floating in front of him.

During the last two days, the store hadn't even sold a hundred weapons. The only thing that made Aakesh satisfied in the quest was the sale of the Gods & Demons level training area.

He needed 1000 hours of sale as the second requirement, but the store had already sold 155 training hours in six days. Out of the 155 sold training hours, only the Esh clan had bought 122 hours of training(Veenesh + Jeetesh + 113 clan elders + seven apprentices).

He didn't have to worry about the training hour requirement from now on as Aakesh was confident that the Esh clan would complete that requirement alone. The worry he had was due to the weapons not selling in large quantities, but since not even 10 days had passed, he stopped thinking about it.

Only a sale like pills was needed to complete the requirement of selling 10,000 weapons in no time, and Aakesh was confident that the sale of weapons would rise in the future as more and more customers belonging to different organizations arrived.

Aakesh stopped thinking about the quest and its progress and snapped his fingers. The next moment, both the screens floating in front of him disappeared into nothingness.

Aakesh still had another store quest, so he thought about it, and the next moment, another blue screen floating, appeared in front of him.

[Mission objective: Add the number of virtual portals,

Requirement: As a result of the three-day event, the Panagea had become increasingly popular throughout the Bisan Kingdom and some parts of the Primal dimension. So much so that only in the starting few hours of the opening of the store, all the slots get taken for the day. There has been an addition of 100 more virtual portals, but to ensure such kind of craze of Panagea continues and even more, customers join it; the store owner needs to have 2000 hours of entry time every day into Panagea for seven days straight,

Streak: Done:Done:Done:Left:Left:Left:Left,

Mission reward: 1000 new virtual portals,

Failure punishment: None.]

Aakesh nodded, seeing the progress he had made in the quest. He needed to have at least 2000 hours of Panagea stay for seven days straight.

The requirement had already been fulfilled for three days, while the next four days were still left. Seeing the current crowd for Panagea, only if something terrible happened, Aakesh would fail the quest.

Aakesh then waved his hands, and the blue screen disappeared.
