Chapter 1287 Primordial Essence
After an immortal crossed the barrier of Will they had access to another form of Essence, and if they wished they could choose to cultivate that Essence which was called Enlightened Essence.
There was not much difference between Pure Essence and Enlightened Essence, but a higher dimensional Immortal could have an additional stream of Essence to call upon, further deepening the power they could call upon.
The primary reason why Enlightened Essence was important to higher dimensional immortals was because it could close the gap in their powerset of the Immortal if they had naturally weak Pure Essence.
In the matters of Essence no one was born equal, the amount of Pure Essence available inside a dragon at birth was a million times greater than what was available to a human at birth. At the Enlightened Essence level, a human Immortal could finally have the chance to grow their Essence to levels that rivaled dragons.
Of course with the difficulty of cultivating the power of Core, most higher dimensional Immortals would not choose to cultivate Enlightened Essence alongside their Pure Essence, and except for higher dimensional immortals like dragons and titans that fully cultivated their Core and could easily cultivate their Enlightened Essence, most would not cultivate this second set of Essence alongside the Pure Essence that comes with their bodies.
The third type of Essence was extremely special, almost existing outside the category of Essence altogether, and could generally only be found in the lower,
three-dimensional universe, and it was called Primordial Essence.
This Essence came directly from Chaos the Primordial and it was spread across all third-dimensional universes inside the Great Darkness, and was the primary source of Essence for Empyreans who were the defenders of the third dimension.
This Essence was prized across all of reality because it had an amazing property of enhancing and feeding Pure and Enlightened Essence, and so Immortals would vie to enter a third dimension and slowly harvest. Primordial Essence from them.
If a mortal could gain a drop of Primordial Essence from a material universe, their Pure Essence would be boosted to such a level that with their fleshy body alone they could challenge lesser immortals. This effect was of great help to Immortals also, and the reasons Empyreans had not been hunted to extinction was due to the heavy security imposed on the lower dimensional universes by most. Primordial powers and other higher dimensional powers who were interested in keeping the lower realms as safe as possible.
With Rowan's increasing understanding of the power of Primordials, he knew that what Chaos had given to all third-dimensional universe was true Primordial Essence and not something that was fake, and it was the same as the Essence that he wished to draw out from the heads of the Six Sirens when he completed this page, the only difference was in its volume.
Understanding the powers of Primordials would confuse the minds of most immortals because Primordials did not use Aether or Aetherium, but Primordial Essence alone, and in all of reality, there was no longer any Primordial Essence available.
So the question arose about how Chaos was providing such a vast amount of Primordial Essence to all of the third-dimensional universes inside the Great Darkness since the dawn of the Supreme Era, and the simple answer was that he was not. Before time began, all Primordial Essence had been divided, lesser immortals got few droplets of Primordial Essence, case in point Thenos and his mothers. This powerful Eternal immortal had a total of ten droplets of Primordial Essence.
This might not seem like a lot of Primordial Essence but when you realize that Chaos had been powering all third-dimensional universes inside the Great Darkness whose numbers could not even be ascertained with just a single droplet of Primordial Essence, then you would realize how powerful only a single droplet of Primordial Essence was.
However, not because a droplet of Primordial Essence contained infinite power meant that anyone could replicate what Chaos had been able to achieve using a single droplet. Only a Primordial had the consciousness power to unleash infinite power into a structured form that could exist for an infinite amount of time.
A single droplet of Primordial Essence possessed infinite power. This meant Chaos unleashing only a single drop of Primordial Essence could power the Frozen Road forever and feed every single universe with Primordial Essence, although the Essence available inside the universes were called Primordial Essence, they were simply extremely lesser copies of the real droplet of Primordial Essence unleashed by Chaos. Primordial Essence was incomparably powerful, but it came with certain limitations, the first being, that the number of Primordial Essence was fixed. It was unknown how much Primordial Essence had been available in reality from the start, but since its numbers were limited, its nature became even more precious.
Not even Primordials could create more Essence, and this led to the second limitation of Primordial Essence, once unleashed they could only be recovered by undoing everything they had set out to achieve.
The one droplet of Primordial Essence unleashed by Chaos to create the entire structure of the third-dimensional universe would be destroyed in its entirety if Chaos wished to draw back the droplet of Primordial Essence he had turned loose. The reason this was not considered a problem was that it was generally known by all that you could not recover Primordial Essence, even Primordials could not recover the Primordial Essence they had unleashed, or perhaps they chose not to do this, nevertheless, it was the primary reason Primordials were so stingy with utilizing this power and rarely interacted with reality or made any changes to it, because their powers were too great and could not just be simply unleashed without great consequences.
Singularities had one peculiar trait, and that was they could change the nature of reality.
The Primordial Record could allow Rowan to contain multiple powerful Primordial bloodlines in a single body, and the World Stele could reverse back the technique unleashed by Primordial Essence.
Today, everything was going to change, as Rowan was taking back the Primordial
Essence in the Sirens.
There was a loud crack that reverberated all through reality, and the Frozen Road that existed since the beginning of the Supreme Era began to collapse.
Across reality, Primordials began to stir,
