Chapter 2901 The Position of Eternal Death
Minos and his group had time to talk to Mylecent about the situation in the Hell and their plans after their reunion. Nothing immediately seemed to lead them to the decisive confrontation against Eternal Death.
So she learned about Minos' plan to leave Zocarro once again and finally challenge the Upper Realm, but also some details about his interests regarding the Hell-even though he had been vague about that dimension.
She didn't know exactly how he would act after becoming an Entitled Deity. After all, the Upper Realm and the Hell were historical enemies. How exactly did he intend to act after his promotion?
But Mylecent's doubts were only in the sense of where exactly Minos wanted to go and what she would have to do. She wasn't worried about being on the wrong side of a future fight between the Hell and the Upper Realm. Something told her that he wouldn't become a 100% loyal member of the Upper Realm and a total enemy to all Devils.
Meanwhile, Minos and his women understood better where the current war developing in the Hell stood. They had been in the dark about it until Mylecent's return, only being able to make estimates based on what they knew of the scale, the players involved in the dispute, and the size of the disputed territory. But they were a long way from being able to accurately understand what was developing there and at what point in the conflict the war had reached.
Mylecent told them everything, from the names of important figures in Hell who were on the move or who had already fallen. The war should be at its climax right now- which was sooner than Minos had initially expected.
At least half of Abby's old domain had already gained new owners and Qhava had grown a lot in recent months-the time it had spent inside Hell since the departure of Minos and his women.
Recently, there had been news of the strongest Devil leaving his territory, which was already moving the war towards its end. Supposedly, Devil Lothur was at the peak of level 129 and was moving to take the Throne of Hell once and for all!
Hearing this and how Qhava didn't seem to have forgotten about him scared Minos a little. Not only was he worried about the war in the Hell ending too soon and this causing problems for him and his family, he was also already thinking about the future in which he would be part of the Upper Realm. Minos was certain that as soon as he assumed his throne as Entitled Deity, he would have to get involved in the dimension's problems with the Hell. But he wouldn't want to be involved in a dimension war straight away!
However, from what he had heard from Mylecent about the developing situation in the Hell, the likelihood of a dimension clash starting even before his ascension was increasing, having already passed 50%.
The Upper Realm would not accept a Devil taking the Throne of Hell and reunifying the infernal powers when the Upper Realm itself was not unified for this threat. In that case, there was only one obvious way out for him: anticipation of war!
Because of this, Minos immediately locked himself away after hearing everything from Mylecent, positioning himself to consider going to the Hell now or waiting longer. In the situation he was in, he couldn't help but feel the stress of the passage of time!
Three weeks after Mylecent's return, Minos was still pondering whether to speed up the resolution of the current situation by going to the Hell or to wait longer and not risk returning to the dimension now. But while he was meditating, in one of his post-vision rests, something made him shift uncomfortably.
Without leaving his lotus position and eyes closed, Minos moved his energies, once again trying to spy out the fate messed up by the Hell's influences.
Trying to predict the fate of entities related to absolute dimensions was not easy. Every time he tried something, he felt an interference that scrambled his visions. Today, however, he felt it would be different when he tried to predict his own fate.
His mind traveled along a path of seven colors, crossing time, arriving at a world different from the sky, extremely hazy, but with the same buildings as the city he was physically in now.
Suddenly, the place seemed peaceful, on a day like any other, despite the tense and stormy weather. Then, suddenly, explosions and flames coming from the core of the city appeared in his vision, making some of his senses work simultaneously.
Frowning, Minos spotted the area near the sovereign family's the Hell portal, where a battalion of enemy undead, but also the Hell guardians and other creatures, probably allies and new minions of Eternal Death, were appearing from that point.
Several of the local Hell Lifelings, undead revived by himself and his allies, fell with the enemy onslaught, while even his most important women and allies were surprised by a powerful troop of peak Supremes and low-level Celestials.
Minos observed this sight for just a second longer and then opened his eyes, back to the real world, dispersing the effects of his powers.
He got up as quickly as he left the vision, with drops of sweat running down his forehead, neck, and back.
Minos left the place where he was and reappeared, floating a few meters above the central square, still under reconstruction. There he didn't hesitate to move his powers, strengthening himself even before announcing to his companions what was about to happen.
Minos didn't need to say anything. When his cultivation suddenly began to rise, with his golden wings opening up and making it look as if a new star had appeared in the sky, all those above level 120 within a radius of up to 100 kilometers felt chills run down their spines.
Quickly, Mylecent appeared floating next to Minos, the first to join him as men from the rebel forces, Hell Lifelings and Armhands, began to move around the area. Almost two seconds later, Abby, Gloria and Ruth joined them, along with Ysolt and some important warriors in the area.
Segiel was naturally not there. The capital was too dangerous as long as Eternal Death existed and had the possibility of returning. Thus, Minos' last wife was at the guild's headquarters in Uzira, as was the case with all his relatives currently on the continent. "Is she coming?" Abby asked as she felt her blood rushing faster, aware that this situation would not be resolved without a challenging battle first. Neither of them feared the possibility of dying in this fight. If any side had the upper hand, it was definitely theirs. But the difference wasn't great and before a likely victory, as they had hoped, there was a battle that could bring injury to them ahead!
"Yes, we only have a few more seconds," Minos said, as his body was already half transformed into its maximum combat form.
Not long after his words, just long enough for the rebel forces to retreat from the vicinity of the Hell portal, explosions similar to the ones he had predicted erupted around the central area of the capital, before a grandiose horde showed itself to them along with the main enemies in the imminent battle ahead.
