Chapter 180: Crystalline Is My Sugar Momma...?

Chapter 180: Crystalline Is My Sugar Momma...?

"I agree." Crystalline replied with a cold tone.

|I agree as well!| Boundless gave her opinion too.

'What do you need a disguise for, Boundless?' He questioned her inside his head.

He had ultimately decided that going through the hassle of coaxing everyone every time he talked to Boundless was too much of a hassle. So he opted to using a different approach when communicating with the brown-haired beauty.

That approach being the usage of an easy telepathic skill that he made in but an instant through the boons of his 'Quantum Law'. However, this telepathic skill allowed him to communicate with Boundless using simple telepathic abilities.

He also made sure to use a peculiar, illusory skill that allowed him to move his mouth in two different ways at once, so he could give Boundless the experience of talking to him without his mouth being closed the entire time.

|Duh, I want a disguise! Why wouldn't I?!? I want to be a cool incognito ninja like you and that dumb bimbo as well!" She bubbled with a large, radiant smile on her face.

|Whoosh Whoosh!!|

Her arms were making exaggerated motions as she imitated some of the edge-lord move sets of ninjas.

"..."

Azmond seemed to age considerably when he heard the ridiculous reasoning of Boundless.

'How did she even come to know about ninjas?' He asked himself with a perplexed expression.

'Oh wait' He suddenly realized something.

'... I forgot she read all my memories before turning off that feature of hers. So she knows everything about everything before that point.'

He visibly sighed a little at his past being so out in the open before he quickly discarded such useless thoughts and focused back on the matter at hand.

"Let us go find a few masks then; why don't we?" He spoke with a small smile as he dragged the two beauties along with him.

He was heading straight toward a shop with a large sign that said, 'Camouflage Corner' in big italic black letters. It was a color that was quite the eye-catcher in a city as blue as RiverBloom.

...

The four of them headed into the lavishly decorated doors of the store before they came to witness a view that was quite reminiscent of a library from Azmond's past life.

"Is this how shops like these are in this world?" He asked himself as he looked around and saw a plethora of various items lined up against the walls on well-sorted shelves.

Some of these items were even floating up in the air as they vibrated a little, above an unknown blue device with a metallic sheen.

'Is that some sort of repulsor?" He looked at the weird energy waves emanating from a bunch of those blue metallic devices with a fascinated expression.

They looked eerily similar to small repulsor devices that he would often see in futuristic movies in his past life.

'I thought this world was supposed to be in the dark ages, considering it was a world of cultivation. But I guess I was wrong' A small smile filled with wonder emerged on his face as he checked out the rest of the large interior of the store.

"Hello customers! Would you like any assistance with your shopping experience? I can help you find something if you are looking for something specific!"

However, his interest was quickly interrupted by the enthusiastic voice of a shop worker in clean, neat attire as he approached the divine-looking couple with shining eyes.

'I have never seen people this beautiful in my entire life! I bet they have a bunch of money they're able to spend! After all, what good-looking people don't have a lot of money?? None!' He thought to himself as a cunning gleam flashed through his eyes.

These two and that weird-looking slime were going to be his moneybags!

"Hmm Oh yeah, I guess I don't have money," he muttered with an indifferent expression as he realized that he had absolutely no money.

He had been living in the Great Wildlands Forest for the past 12 years of his life, after all! What sort of monetary status was he expected to have?!? He was a pauper!

"!?!?" The clerk who came to help them out was instantly stunned speechless upon hearing the words of the tall, handsome man.

'These customers don't have any money?!? How can this be?!? Why are they in a store if they don't have any money?' He put on a vexed expression as he began to awkwardly chuckle.

"Haha Well, you see, dear customers. You will need AquaCoins or the equivalent of such a coin if you wish to buy anything from our esteemed establishment!" He began to rub his hands together in an uncomfortable way while his eyes kept darting toward the exit.

If these people didn't have any money, then they should hurry up and leave my store, so we can get some real customers in here!

"Hey, Azmond." Crystalline's frosty voice sounded out beside Azmond's ear.

"Yes, My Love?" He responded in a kind tone while completely ignoring the uncomfortability of the store clerk.

She suddenly took out a large bag that made a heavy rattling sound when it landed in her small, dainty hands.

"I have money," she said with a straight face.

An imperceptible gleam passed through her eyes upon taking out such a bag of money and seeing the astounded look on Azmond's face.

'Hehe It feels good to be of some use to him for once.' A few cheerful thoughts swirled around inside of her mind as she handed the bag to Azmond.

**Rattle Rattle**

He extended out his hand and scratched up the bag that she had so nonchalantly given him. Although he knew nothing about the value of such a bag of coins, he knew it had to be quite high. And yet she gave it to him like it was nothing more than a drop in the ocean for her

'Is my Ice Queen actually my sugar momma?' He asked himself with a conflicted countenance.
