Chapter 134: Gentleman Gets The Girls

The meeting was concluded after You Xi Wang conversed about many points related to the game development and BETA testing. It was decided that according to his previous orders, the company will conduct a survey to find out some people who are interested in gaming. The survey will be conducted over Metro-Frame. The selected users will be then sponsored by the company to come to Silica City and take part in the testing. The company will pay for their accommodations, meals, and basic commodities. This was a better way to attract users. Also You Xi Wang asked them to release a video clipping containing the gameplay. 

The related personnel wanted to conduct a meeting with their teams, but You Xi Wang asked them to do it tomorrow as it was a holiday and the people deserved to rest. He also asked Petra to reimburse one day's salary for the people who were called over today. The employees expressed their gratitude and left the office. You Xi Wang and Petra were the only ones left in the conference hall. The whole office slowly turned empty as the couple was immersed in their happy talks. You Xi Wang was boasting who valiant he was during the battle and was occasionally joking too. Petra was smiling non-stop during this time.

"Okay, okay, Xi Wang, stop it, please. My jaws are stiff from smiling." Petra spoke with an aggrieved expression. You Xi Wang could help but pinch her porcelain-like nose. He said with a sigh, "You are so adorable Petra. I wonder if the people knew you can be like this, what will they do."

Petra immediately drowned in faint red clouds. She felt very sweet with You Xi Wang complimenting her. She turned away to hide the embarrassment. He came back to his chair and used his Holo-Phone to register an account on Metro-Frame. He said to Petra, "If we do not use the product we created. Then what is the point of inventing."

He aimed the camera at himself and clicked a half-face picture of himself. This picture was set as his profile picture. Then he typed in a status, 'Peace.' along with a V finger emoticon. Soon the account was registered. It looked just like a social networking site he used and saw on Earth. As for his first post. He posted a picture of Celestia, You Zhichi, and himself playing together. The picture was taken at night when the three were out together for a dinner. Then he posted one picture with Yuki, Fenny, Emily, and Susan. Then was the picture of him and his team dressed in the black battle suits holding weapons. The picture was captioned as 'Phantom Squad'. He tagged his friends together. Only they were using the app at the moment. 

He took out a coin disk and tossed it to Petra. He said, "This video will an advertisement for Metro-Frame. Show it to your team and ask them what they think. If they have any ideas, talk about them. We can use multiple advertisements and also make sure that you highlight the key points of the app in the advertisement videos." 

Petra nodded and spoke, "I will follow up on it, first thing in the morning tomorrow." she thought of something and asked what are you doing after this?"

You Xi Wang pondered and said, "I was about to ask you out. I am hungry. I haven't eaten in a week. So, shall we?"

Petra was surprised that this boy who was so full of energy had not eaten in a week. She stood up hurriedly and said, "Come let me take you home. I will cook something light for you. You should not eat outside."

It was You Xi Wang, who was surprised this time. He nodded and walked out of the office with Petra. The target was the parking area. You Xi Wang saw Petra walking to her mag-lev. He suddenly felt that this vehicle design was too blunt. His mind was as if struck by lightning at this moment. He smacked his forehead. He seemed to have never noticed that the exterior of the 'cars in this world looked like a brick on the outside. The Lev-Bikes were still designed a little proactively, while these Mag-Lev cars were simply luxurious bricks. You Xi Wang spoke, "Hey, Petra, how about we ride on my bike? It is faster than that brick."

She did not want him to be held at the door by the Security. After all, he was her friend and also the boss. You Xi Wang parked the bike and looked around this area. The buildings here were a staggering 50 floors high. Petra lived on the 40th floor. They took the levitating elevator and reached their destination in a few seconds. Petra led You Xi Wang to the steel grey door at the end of the corridor. 

The door opened itself. A female voice sounded, "Welcome home, Sister Petra."

Petra replied, "XiaoAi, prepare bath water for me." she took off her shoes revealing her small jade feet. If not for his image, You Xi Wang would have jumped on Petra right now. Petra took out guest slippers from the side drawer and gave them to You Xi Wang. She said, "Xi Wang, you sit down. I will come back in a few minutes. Then I will cook okay. I am sorry, but I really need to take a bath."

Her face was slightly red, and she was not blushing, concerned You Xi Wang touched her forehead with his forehead. He asked after parting, "Petra, are you okay? You are not having a fever."

Petra had not yet woke up from the previous shock of this guy almost kissing her. How was she to answer? Petra nodded and spoke, "XiaoAi, set Xi Wang's status as an occupant of the house. Secondary owner privilege granted."

A female voice sounded, "Command accepted sister Petra."

Petra told You Xi Wang some basic guidelines about the A.I. and left to take a bath. You Xi Wang watched her back leaving quickly and spoke, "XiaoAi, tell me where is the kitchen."

XiaoAi responded, "Sir, the kitchen is on the left-hand side after you cross the living room."

You Xi Wang followed the directions and saw a well-equipped kitchen. The appliances were all the latest ones. He nodded in satisfaction. He spoke again, "XiaoAi, do you know if there are some milk and rice in the supplies?"

XiaoAi replied, "Yes, sir." provided him the location where the relative items were stored. You Xi Wang spoke, "XiaoAi, change the way you address me. Call me Xi Wang from now on."

The A.I. replied, "Command accepted, Xi Wang."

You Xi Wang nodded in satisfaction and took out the Milk, Rice, and Sugar. He wanted to make sweet rice porridge. He turned on the stove and started cooking. His movements were all very subtle and smooth. On the side, he heated some water as well. Soon, Petra arrived in the kitchen. She was surprised to see You Xi Wang wearing an apron and cooking porridge. She was about to speak when You Xi Wang turned to face her. He smiled at her and took a glass of warm water to her. 

He said, "Drink this, it helps with the cramps. The porridge will be down soon. Also, do you mind if I put some dried berries in the porridge?"

Petra dumbly took the glass in her hand and shook her head. You Xi Wang smiled and turned back to communicate with the A.I. to find the raisins, while Petra was lost in a warm feeling. She only woke up when her belly cramped a bit. She gulped down some warm water. The pain eased a lot, and she took a breath of relief. She turned and walked out to sit on the small dining table across the kitchen. She was wondering whether the warmth inside her was because of the warm water or how well You Xi Wang treated her. Just when she was getting further and further in her thoughts. The table surface was knocked, and she saw You Xi Wang standing next to her with a bowl in his hands. 

You Xi Wang was also scanning Petra from head to toe. She was wearing a baby pink t-shirt and a pair of white cotton shorts. The shorts were covering only half of her white plump thighs. You Xi Wang nearly drooled. He came back to his sense as Petra took the bowl of porridge from his hand with a blush on her fair face. You Xi Wang sat opposite her and started eating the porridge with a soup spoon. Petra also took a spoon and after blowing the piping hot porridge twice she ate it. 

Her expression was that of surprise. She was an intelligent woman. She understood that given You Xi Wang's background if he could cook a bowl of porridge which is as good as the one you get to eat at home, then it was a major achievement. At least, in her vision it was. She ate the bowl of porridge to every bit of grain. You Xi Wang ate faster than her and also took another bowl of serving. Petra put the bow in the sink and left it to wash later or put it in the dishwasher after You Xi Wang leaves. The boy took up both his and Petra's bowl and washed them clean. 

Petra wanted to stop him, but when she saw him smiling contently, she stopped herself. How was she to know that this boy was a transmigrator, and he was smiling because he got to do household chores after such a long time? He came out and took off his apron only when he was done with everything and sat next to Petra on the sofa in the living room. It was still early. The two of them just had a late breakfast. The two started talking again and after 30 minutes, Petra's cramps returned. You Xi Wang helped her with a glass of warm water. 

After he sat down next to her he said, "Petra, it might sound a bit too much to you but would you like to sit in my lap? I can stroke your belly to help you ease the cramps."

Petra was shocked to the core. She even wondered how can this guy actually say something like this with such a serious face. Also, her heart was racing like a scared deer and nearly jumped out of her mouth. She took a deep breath and calmed herself down. She hesitantly nodded and stood up from her seat. You Xi Wang calmly took her hand and guided her to sit in his lap. Petra dared not look at him and just kept looking sideways. Her body shivered a bit as You Xi Wang placed his palm on her belly. You Xi Wang slowly caressed the belly and used a bleak amount of the fire spirit energy to make Petra feel warm. Soon, the girl rested her head on his shoulder and drifted into slumberland. You Xi Wang sat frozen with only his hand on her stomach moving from time to time.

Petra woke up after a couple of hours. She saw You Xi Wang was still sitting in the same posture and let her have a comfortable sleep. She mustered her courage and kissed the boy's cheek. She then buried her face in his shoulder. You Xi Wang smiled and patted her back gently. He heard a timid voice in his ears, "Can you be my boyfriend?"josei
