Chapter 199: Trouble Maker.

While everyone was busy being surprised and shocked over the encouragement Achilles expressed for You Xi Wang, the mystified elder spoke, "As the leader of the leading team, you should address the masses. They all want to listen a young hero speak about his experiences."

Although You Xi Wang was reluctant, he had a good sense of the situation. Rejecting to address the people would be a silent face slap to this person in front of him. Despite looking calm on the surface the teenager battle maniac was shivering on the inside. Not because of fear because he wanted to fight with this elder right now. He nodded to the elder and turned to face the crowd. After infusing spirit energy in his throat he spoke in a sonorous voice, "When we walk on the road we must walk with our heads held high. But we must also remember to keep our eyes down on the road to be mindful of the pits and obstacles we might face. Inside those dimension pockets, lies a world completely different from what we are used to. My team also faced the same situation, but it was only due to our cooperation did we successfully survive. I do not know what you all have faced inside there but I ask you not to let this helpless emotion wash away in tears." suddenly he raised his voice,josei

"Hold on the tears, walk strong and conquer your fears. 

  Clench your fist, face off with the beast.

The demons in your heart, don't let them take you apart.

In the dark night, even if you fall at least put up a fight.

Hold on to your tears, become the fear."

as soon as his poem ended, the people who were just standing in the crowd with lackluster eyes seemed to have woke up. The light of consciousness returned to their eyes. One girl with a prosthetic arm spoke up, "I have a question for you."

Her voice was like a bell in the silent graveyard. Everyone looked at her. The girl immediately became slightly hesitant. She hated herself for reacting impulsively. You Xi Wang sensed her hesitation and encouraged her, "Elder Sister, ask whatever you want to. Don't be hesitant. I will try my best to answer your query."

The girl picked up some of her courage and asked, "Do you think it is easy to get up after taking a fall?" her tone was very desperate as if searching for a spark in the darkness. 

You Xi Wang smiled slightly and spoke, "Some time ago, my parents passed away in a maglev blast. I have always been close to them just like any other child would be. Growing up, I loved my parents and family so much that this sudden change collapsed the merry world I was living in. I fell into a coma, leaving only my big sister to deal with things. When I woke up it has been two weeks since my parent's funeral. I took a fall and almost broke apart. Yet when I saw how much the people around me were affected by this and how they felt sad I picked myself up. I lost something very important to me, but if I were to keep letting the grief overwhelm me, I would have never been able to stand here today. So if you all kept neglecting what you have for what you have lost. It will only make you end up bad. So I hope you all can try to climb up once again and realize the dreams of your friends for them." his tone was calm and his pace was steady. 

You Xi Wang was not aware that this answer of his made a lot of council elders give him a high evaluation. The girl who asked him the question had tears brimming in her eyes but she did not let the fall. She raised her left hand that was not a prosthetic limb and made a fist as she roared to the sky. This gesture was followed by almost everyone in the sky event square. The elders saw how You Xi Wang lifted the spirit of the hopeless survivors with a poem and how he inspired them. 

You Xi Wang walked down the stage amidst the roaring crowd. The people he passed by all nodded to him and You Xi Wang returned the gesture with a smile. When he reached his team he saw his sister looking at him with red eyes. He pursed his lips and hugged her. He knew his sister would have cried otherwise. She has been through a lot. Today You Xi Wang gave her and the family all the credit for his growth and strength. He acknowledged how much she had suffered. You Zhichi was also a human being who needed to be comforted.

After the ceremony came to an end the participants were told to go back home and have a rest. They will be coming back to the Imperial city afterward for the solo battle fest round where teams from different cities will be fighting against each other in one-on-one battles in front of the whole planet. 

You Xi Wang was also very restless. He had promised Yuki to spend a night with her after they returned home. He was very eager for this. You Zhichi helped Maddison and the group made their way to the airport of the city. The team all purchased souvenirs from the street market. You Xi Wang bought a lot of local snacks as he had a group of hungry little devils waiting for him back home. The rest of the journey was very much boring. The team boarded the airship headed back to Silica City in the silent sky.

While You Xi Wang was traveling back to his home the council elders sat in a dim-lit room. The meeting was called by Achilles to discuss the grooming of these young heroes. The meeting commenced with some usual exchange between the elders when Achilles spoke up, "I think Imperial city team captain, Aaron Efron, would be good to serve as the new captain in the defense forces. He is strong and smart."

The other elders nodded and expressed their approval. Despite being cocky this guy indeed had the capital to walk sideways in the crowd of geniuses. Achilles continued, "I would like You Xi Wang to be groomed as a candidate of invincible spirit of the god of war."

All the elders glanced at Achilles with big eyes. One of the old guys asked, "The reason behind this proposal?"

Achilles replied, "That boy is a Primal Soul Realm cultivator at the age of 16, He has comprehended the intent of sword and spear. He is good enough. I will find an opportune moment to ask him to be my disciple. Also, you all have seen that he has the talent to turn distressed into hope."

The other elders nodded and they were about to speak when Alester Book coughed and spoke, "I don't agree with you, Achilles." he did not care about the impact his words had over the entire council.

Achilles spoke with surprise, "Preacher, what is the reason behind your objection." he was an old friend with this man.

Alester Book spoke, "You Xi Wang acknowledged me as his master one month ago. He has not only condensed the intent of the weapon but also evoked the weapon spirit of his sword and spear. Before the battle fest, he found out that a relative of his was inclining to the dark side. He personally called me over to escort that person to the monks. He also does not want to get involved with the council."

Achilles was shocked and exclaimed, "Old bastard, you really know how to snatch a good seed. I won't ask him to be my disciple but why does he not want to involve with the council?"

Alester Book replied, "The person whom he discovered to be inclining to the dark side was a council official. Also, Xiao Wang says that the council is too rigid and he won't be able to adjust within. Knowing his nature I did not pursue him and agreed to his condition. His point of reasoning is that if the dark dwellers can have their influence planted inside the council of Metropia then who can you trust? So let him grow outside the council."

Achilles frowned slightly and spoke, "Alester, his reasoning is correct but if he does come inside the council he would be able to deal with these dark dwellers faster." his voice revealed a hint of mixed emotions.

Alester Book smiled and spoke, "Have you seen the Silica City monthly report?"

Before Achilles could reply an elder in grey robes spoke in a seemingly fragile voice, "I have seen it. The dark force's domain of influence has squeezed a lot there. It is not only in the Silica City but also the Croma City too. The four big families maintain the order but they were unable to find the shadow units of the dark forces. I wonder how the dark forces have plummeted in these two regions."

Alester Book replied, "Elder Snipe, it is all credit to You family's shadow unit. They have recruited a lot of orphans with good aptitude, trained them and deployed them to deal with the dark forces by infiltration. The screening process is very effective. They don't test the strength but the mentality of the shadows. These shadows are not blinded by rage and vengeance. Instead they just want to make the dark forces pay as they carry on with their normal lives. I have seen these shadows. While You Xi Wang was away it was his grand aunt who was incharge of this and believe me. Their efficiency is far better then the council executioners." his voice was calm yet his eyes were filled with pride.

Shelton Hammer muttered, "If only we had thought of this method." his low voice gave people an idea. All the elders exchanged a glance and spoke, "We agree."

Achilles spoke with shinng eyes, "Hahahaha, I will have the scepters deployed in a month. Alester, you have found a good disciple indeed." after the whole council laughed they continued with their discussion. Shelton hammer proposed Gena Langford to be his apprentice. He proposed to let the girl visit TianLong Technologies for an exchange after the battle fest is wrapped up.

You Xi Wang at this moment was unaware that his master has ousted his secret identity as his disciple in order to show off. If he knew, he would have cursed the old man for being such a trouble maker. But then again was he any point shorter than his master in trouble making.
