Chapter 205: Raid.

The hound beasts stood surrounding the building. They all were moving very quickly around. If one observed carefully then they will find that the movements were not random. Rather they were all digging some spirit stones under the grass around the building. The things they buried under the soil were spirit stones given to them by You Xi Wang. They were all arranging a spirit formation around the building.

It was a level 5 space lock barrier. This formation would lock the space restricting the people inside or outside to escape by using teleportation spells/talismans. Another use was to stop any Nirvana Rebirth expert from interfering. The hounds were natural experts in concealed movement. This is why You Xi Wang tasked them to set-up the arrays and not the humans. The security of the building might alert the people staying inside if they made any mistakes. 

Edward Colt has always stayed inside the top floor of this edifice. He was a man who married the Colt Family and took their name. With his business skills and hard work, he earned the position of the CEO, during that time he spent most of his time inside the office and gradually became used to staying here. This building was more of his home than the Colt Family Mansion. Also, he was confident that no person could get past his security system. Well, that misconception was about to break today.

The sun has just risen and the people are not properly up. You Xi Wang choose daytime to strike as he did not want to follow the dark dweller pattern of attacking in the night. That was against his dignity. Within five minutes the hounds returned. You Xi Wang spoke to Maya, "Is it done?"

Maya replied, "Yes, brother Xi Wang. You can activate the array whenever you wish." hearing her words You Xi Wang took out a jade disk from his space ring. He circulated his spirit energy inside the jade disk and a translucent barrier formed around the building. The barrier was visible for a moment and then vanished. YYou Xi Wang was dressed in a white battle suit. He pressed on his nape and spoke, "Big sis, what is the progress on your side?"

You Zhichi replied, "The arrays are deployed, we have checked for all the possible threats. Don't worry the situation is under control. Grandpa Longxue is responsible for the deployment of the forces and Granny Xin is on stand-by for backup in the required areas. Auntie bei and I are acting aid to the pressured elders. We will attack suddenly in order to take them down. What about you?" although she kept her voice calm, You Xi Wang sensed her deep breaths. The girl was nervous.

You Xi Wang spoke in a soft voice, "We are about to infiltrate the edifice. You calm down and don't worry. Also, it is not wrong to be nervous. Just don't let the emotions take over yourself."

You Zhichi stayed silent and neither did You Xi Wang said anything. Only after a minute did she speak, "Okay, go now. I have things to do." t may sound like an excuse to avoid the conversation but You Xi Wang sensed her breathing now was calm. He hummed and switched the communication channel. The masks did not reveal the facial features of the team. Their voices were also isolated by the arrays You Xi Wang engraved on the snout of the mask.

You Xi Wang spoke on the Phantom Com channel, "I enter first, disable the security system. You all charge together. Disable the guards as soon as possible. Disable means disable, no killings lest it turned out to be someone who is not a 'dark dweller'. Got it?"

The rest of the team spoke, "Affirmative."josei

You Xi Wang raised his left wrist and the team matched the clock with him. You Xi Wang set the countdown at 30 minutes and said, "After ten minutes, you can enter. I want this thing done and dealt with within half an hour. There are no experts hiding inside. Let's go." with that said he turned invisible under Maya's stealth camo and disappeared in the void.  The rest of the team started to talk using hand signs. The channel was meant for the only emergency and important messages, not for idle gossip.

You Xi Wang stood at the entrance of the building waiting for something. His eyes lit up when he saw a middle-aged man walking towards the security check. Outside the security passage, there was no shadow. So, he could not shadow jump. But this man would cast a shadow and You Xi Wang will jump to it. The man proceeded as predicted and just when he was about to make a turn, a shadow formed below his shoes. You Xi Wang did not hesitate and jumped from the shadow of the barricade to the shadow of that man. 

The man moved his foot ahead and just when it was about to touch the ground and cover the shadow, You Xi Wang popped out and rolled on the ground distancing himself from the man. The whole process was done within a breath and it was seamless. The boy was still covered in camo and was invisible. He knew that he was short on time so he slowly made his way to the reception desk. There his eyes fell on a map behind the two attendants. The map was had some important areas of the company marked over it. 

The defense control room You Xi Wang wanted to take down was on the tenth floor. The room was equipped with advanced tech that could even detect a fly in a range of twenty meters. The door was a bulkhead lithical iron door coated with three inches of Vibranite, a metal similar to vibranium but with a stone-like texture. It was not possible to break in forcefully, that is until you are a master of material science or can do magic. You Xi Wang was capable in the first one and had a slight gist of the second one as well.

The stairs are a system of the ancients is what Metropians believed in. They did not have conventional emergency exits in case of fire or earthquake. Instead, these nerdy bastards used something called emergency teleportation arrays. Yes, every cubicle or chair had a teleportation array engraved on it. It was capable of sending away one person. The corridors and the lobbies had slightly bigger ones, two on each side, capable of transporting ten people at a time. These arrays were assigned to transport the people just outside the office. 

You Xi Wang walked up to the elevator but he did not use it. He was now a Primal Soul Realm Cultivator and he was capable of flying. The elevators had no doors as well. You Xi Wang did not waste time and flew up. The tenth floor was also a place where the security force of the Mirai group resided. Soon You Xi Wang ascended the tenth floor and steadily landed on the floor. He glanced around and saw no one. He wanted to move but stood still. The system spoke in his mind, [Good instincts, another Primal Soul was scanning this area. There are three primal souls here. One is inside the guard's dressing room, another in the defense system room, third is always moving around.]

You Xi Wang did not react and made his way to the defense control room. On the way, he would stop sometimes, and sometimes he would take a detour through the lobbies. This way You Xi Wang successfully avoided the soul sense surveillance. After a total time of three minutes, he reached his goal. 

A heavy-looking door stood in front of him. A plaque marked the door, 'Control Room'. He pressed his hand on the door and his soul sense penetrated the surface, locked onto the old man sitting inside, in front of the old man the pictures were being displayed on a big screen, constantly changing. You Xi Wang immediately cast an illusion on the man. The illusion was very simple. the man kept looking in front of him as the images kept changing. 

You Xi Wang circulated his spirit energy along with his soul energy and started to manipulate the Lithical iron inside. The lithical iron block changed its shape slowly and the central lock assembly inside the door unlocked with an audible click. 

You Xi Wang hurriedly pushed the door and entered inside. He was using the illusion so he could not move. He told Maya to dispel the camo and take control of the illusion he had cast over the old man. Maya was a beast blessed in illusion dao by the heavens. So, taking control of an illusion was very easy for her. Plus You Xi Wang was her companion which made the task even easier. As she took over the illusion You Xi Wang walked up to the old man silently. 

The old man was a primal soul cultivator and he could have reacted if he had noticed any sort of malicious intent on his body but You Xi Wang acted like a dead body. His heart was so calm and collected that his eyes were just like that of a mannequin. You Xi Wang took out his sword from the space ring and with a calm mind, he unsheathed it. The usually fierce purgatory did not react today. You Xi Wang spoke in his mind slowly, "Good, now devour him with silent."

He pressed the blade at the back of the Old man's head. The dark phoenix spirit drilled into the spirit energy barrier created by the old man and made a hole in it. The old man's body shivered and he reacted like a lightning flash and was about to press a button when his gaze turned dull. You Xi Wang made the dark phoenix spirit devour the man's brain in a matter of seconds. The process to unlock the door and killing the old man took a total of 9 minutes. 

The system had already commanded LUCY to invade the Mirai group and wait for the instructions. You Xi Wang spoke, "LUCY, isolate the top five floors and also, allow the people to go downstairs and not back up." a text appeared on the screen in front of him saying, "

Then he touched a switch on his nape and spoke, "Defense control room, is under control. You are free to raid. Be careful. No killings."

The team responded, "Yes."

The raid on the Mirai group had started.
