Chapter 232: Torment.

Witnessing such a drastic change in the scenery around him the barbarian was panicked and started to fight with You Xi Wang.

In reality, the barbarian stood frozen with You Xi Wang smiling at him as if he just found himself a toy. This smile sent a chill down everyone in the audience. They even thought that You Xi Wang was twisted in his mind. Well, he was twisted in a way. 

He readied his sword to attack the barbarian, that is when the guy who attacked You Zhichi shouted, "You call yourself fair? If you have the guts then face our prince without any illusions. Weakling." he did not hide his disgust for You Xi Wang. 

You Xi Wang wanted to kill the guy in front of him right away. But when he heard the words of this person he sighed. He said, "You just added to his torment."

He snapped his fingers and undid the illusion. The barbarian in the ring took back two-three steps. He looked at You Xi Wang who let his sword float in the void as he put on his pair of jade brawling gloves. The barbarian spoke, "You used mental methods on me. I, Momoa Khal, will kill you."

With that said he charged at You Xi Wang. The handsome devil did not back off and greeted his incoming fist in kind. They both took a step back. But the barbarian felt a strong shock his hand was almost numb. He was still in a slight daze when a golden fist landed on him. 

BOOM

This was the sound that originated from the fist movement. You Xi Wang's blow created a sonic boom. He did not stop his fists attacked the barbarian wildly. His aura was as if a tiger walked out of the forest and was left to slaughter a fleet of sheep. The barbarian also did not budge and kept exchanging blows with You Xi Wang. 

ZHENG!!! 

Suddenly lightning appeared around You Xi Wang's fist. The whole audience was shocked.

Someone spoke, "Did he not use wind element before? Why is it lightning?"

Another cultivator replied loudly, "Bumpkin, he is using double attributes. Do you get it? Dual Spirit affinity." his words made the people feel bewildered. They were excited, now that contest will get even more interesting. 

The lightning fist landed on the barbarian's fist and body. It electrocuted his body on a micro-level. It was as if a lot of killer ants biting him. You Xi Wang deliberately controlled the amount of Lightning he poured out. He wanted to torment the barbarian slowly on both mental and physical levels. 

The plan worked and the barbarian was irritated. He suddenly took out a double-handed ax, attacked You Xi Wang ruthlessly. The maestro was not a rookie, he took out his spear and released his spear intent. The divine thorn in his hand trembled and let out a shrill sound. Then You Xi Wang stabbed it forward. 

CLANG!!!

The two weapons collided, the attack did not seem to advance more but the barbarian suddenly wailed. A hole appeared in his shoulder. You Xi Wang cleverly stabbed one and a half times. That half stab released a spirit energy wave and opened up a hole while the full stab blocked the approaching ax. 

Momoa Khal, roared, "I WILL KILL YOU."

You Xi Wang smirked and swung his spear, the shaft hit the barbarian prince on his side, making him retreat. The maestro was enjoying this game. You Zhichi's mental transmission sounded at this time, "Wrap up, Arena Of Gods is not a place where you humiliate people. He may be narrow-minded but he is a good warrior."

You Xi Wang sighed and put his spear and sword back inside the space ring. Then he took out the swift eagle bow. He said, "My sister said you are a good warrior, I should not humiliate you. But you dared to have schemes against my sister. That I will never forgive." next thing he did was stretch the bowstring to a full moon. A spirit arrow formed on the bow. You Xi Wnag released it and with a  WHEEZE it  shot out.

The barbarian squinted his eyes, ready to block the arrow but the next second he felt dizzy. 

"AARRGGHHH" a loud wail echoed in the arena.

You Xi Wang's arrow took out the barbarian's leg. There was a hole in his thigh, as big as a fist. The attack created a hole in his uninjured left arm. The wail continued. 

You Xi Wang spoke, "You did not admit defeat. Good. But now you can not compare either."

The referee asked the Barbarian, "You want to continue?"

Momoa Khal looked at You Xi Wang with hatred. He said, "I will return this shame tenfolds."

You Xi Wang said with a smile, "It is fine if you want to come at me. I welcome you with open arms but if you ever thought about hurting my people even in your area,s. Then I will capture you and start killing everyone in your clan as you watch. Do you understand?"

Momoa Khal spoke, "I swear on my blood. I and neither will my people trouble your family. This is between me and you."josei

You Xi Wang nodded and let the barbarian go down. Momoa Khal made this blood oath because he was aware of You Xi Wang's identity. If his people found out that he behaved in such a way and even offended someone of this high origin. They will definitely ask him to leave the clan. So keep it between us, he was confident in beating You Xi Wang in the future.

You Xi Wang also walked off the ring and the matches continued, but too bad his battle as already gathered too much limelight that the rest look pale in comparison. The first stage of the second round came to an end. The second stage started but You Xi Wang's opponent forfeited. You Zhichi on the other hand was defeated. 

Yes, she fought with Gena Langford. The girl used her vision prowess and found out the flaws in her attacks. After You Zhichi could not break past her defense, she accepted her defeat saying, "We will fight the day I can see through your defense." 

The two girls parted with a happy smile on their faces. Animo Albus nodded and Shelton Hammer laughed loudly, "Elder Albus, your disciple did not lose to mine in vain."

Animo Albus nodded and said, "If she had used her martial spirit things would have been different but as a heart of the maiden, she would not take such a step until it is necessary. You found yourself a good one, Elder Shelton." she was proud of her disciple to be able to know that her powers can harm others which was not a good thing.

You Xi Wang spoke to his sister, "Shall I win her to avenge you?"

You Zhichi smacked the back of his head and said, "Be careful, I might tell Yuki and the others about this."

The two started quibbling unaware that someone was already eyeing them with malice in his heart. The third round of the competition was set to be a dangerous one for them.
