Chapter 256: Reliable Maestro.

After a short break to catch up their breaths You Xi Wang and the team came back to the Epoch Base. The boy said, "You guys go rest. I will go and submit the report to the Major."

The five people nodded and they parted. You Xi Wang had something bigger on his mind. He walked quickly to the Major's office.

A private was standing guard at the door of the command center. He saluted to the visiting officer and let him pass after he asked the superiors inside. The visiting officer walked inside, to see Maddison, Rias, and another deputy commander standing there. He saluted them, Deputy Commander Rias asked, "Captian You Xi Wang, what brings you here?"

The visiting officer was You Xi Wang, he made a report to the old Major and asked him if he can visit the command center and talk to the superiors about something. In the military, you need permission to bypass authorities. The old major asked him what was the matter? The boy truthfully revealed the new equipment he had on him. The old man was shocked to see these gadgets. He realized that You Xi Wang probably wanted to show them to the higher-ups so that they can buy some for the forces. 

Old Major was a respectable man, he did not want to undermine You Xi Wang and sent him forward on his own. You Xi Wang heard Rias's question and said, "I would like to suggest something for the betterment of the Warring Forces, Sir."

The three people were surprised, after all, what suggestion could this young boy make. He has been here for only two days. Maddison spoke with a chuckle, "So, the maestro is ready to flex his skills?"

You Xi Wang just smiled at her. The other two people exchanged a glance. Maddison sensed their confusion and said, "You Xi Wang is my student in Silica City Academy. He is the strongest and the smartest kid under my wing. Also, Council Elder Alester Book is his master. So, you can imagine his talent. This guy and his team have faced, 9 primal soul dark dwellers. Also, 600 demon minions and 1 demon commander in the First Battle fest."

The reason she flexed so much about You Xi Wang was so that these two deputies of her take him seriously. People at higher ranks tend to look down on the newbies. She asked again, "Speak freely, Xi Wang."

You Xi Wang nodded to her and took out his tech gadgets. Everything was placed on the table in front of them neatly. The second Deputy Commander asked, "How much is the price for one set?"

You Xi Wang replied, "10 Gold credits plus 5 gold credits making charges."

The deputy asked, "Why stated them differently?"josei

You Xi Wang said, "10 gold credits is for the raw materials. If the council can arrange them at a cheaper price, then the price will reduce, as for the making charges I mentioned. It is a fixed price. The workers need to eat."

Maddison interrupted, "Brat, are you trying to make a profit out of it?"

You Xi Wang replied, "Teacher you blame me wrongly. The price is just correct with the quality and efficiency of the product."

Maddison nodded. She said, "Give us some time to think and discuss it. I will contact Elder Victoria regarding this. She will make the final decision. You can go now."

You Xi Wang hesitated, he said, "Commander, can I see Yuki?"

Maddison shook her head with a faint smile, "Go, your rooms are next to each other, but don't cross the bounds and stain my name."

You Xi Wang gave her a sunny smile and said, "You are the best teacher ever." then he rushed out of the command center. The reason why he wanted to meet Yuki was to check how the others are. His original team was together and he was the only one alone, plus he missed Yuki. 

He called her on the holo-phone. It was possible to contact someone on the base. But not outside, like Metropia and out in the field. Dark energy was a pain not for nothing. Yuki picked up the call and replied in a sweet voice, "Hello my love. How come you have time to call me?"

You Xi Wang scratched the back of his head as he replied, "Sorry baby, been busy here. Can we meet? Are you free?"

Yuki smiled sweetly, she said, "You can meet me always. I am about to have a meal. Why don't you come to the cafeteria?"

You Xi Wang nodded and headed to the cafeteria. The place was always filled with someone who wanted to eat something. The forces and teams were going out on raids constantly. So as cultivators they needed to eat to refill energy too. At the moment You Xi Wang entered the cafeteria he spotted Yuki and the others but his face turned cold in an instant. 

He saw a captain rank officer, talking to Yuki. It would have been fine if Yuki did not have a look of disgust on her face. You Xi Wang would not tolerate someone messing up with his girl at all. The people saw him coming and parted the way, he was a captain as well.

Some voices fell in his ears as he neared the team. "Humph, you think you are pretty so that you can reject my pursuit. Remember this I am your Captain. You have to obey me or you can stay here in the base to complete cleaning duties."

You Xi Wang raised an eyebrow and he spoke in a cold voice, "I did not know, someone had the guts to have such a Monarchial attitude here?" his words attracted the young man. Before he could say anything You Xi Wang arrived next to Yuki and took a hold of her waist. He said, "So, are you trying to force my fiancee?"

The man's face changed, he did not know that Yuki had a boyfriend. He did not glance at You Xi Wang's chest and held his neck tight as he said, "Boy, you better let go of any ideas about m..."

Before he could even complete his words, his neck was squeezed by You Xi Wang. The maestro was pissed off and did not hold back his strength. His grip made the man loosen his grip. You Xi Wang spoke, "Yu attacked me first, now in self-defense, I can break you, both in body and spirit. How about it? Captain ball face. Or better I can just kick your nuts and you will give up on every girl in the world."

His cold voice scared the captain. He did not want to be heated in front of so many of his subordinates. Killing and crippling were taboo, but fighting was normal. A lot of people would challenge others daily. So this was nothing out of the place.

What was surprising was You Xi Wang's aura that surprised them. The boy let out his primal soul level cultivation pressure. Lightning started to form on his arm. He said, "Do you want to challenge me?"

The opponent shook his head. He half stepped Primal Soul realm. He can not fight against a full-fledged primal soul realm person. And someone like You Xi Wang, who was radiating the unabashed killing intent, will definitely kill him in the challenge ring. 

The challenge ring has one rule only, the winner is the ruler. If You Xi Wang killed him after throwing out a death match at his face. Nobody will take any action against him. Yuki said, "Xi Wang, let him go."

You Xi Wang took his grip back, the man started panting. The maestro spoke, "First, I will report your forceful behavior to the superiors. Second, If you harbor any ill feelings towards me. I welcome you, but if you used any underhanded means. I will kill you in front of everyone without caring about the rules."

The man was pale in the face. You Xi Wang spoke, "I will have my friends report to my team. Also, leave here, if you don't want to die." his cold voice made the guy shudder, he immediately ran away. 

You Xi Wang asked Yuki about the whole matter and then reported it to the old major, Deputy Commander Rias. In half an hour the accused was relieved of his duties and was sent back to Metropia. The military did not need any jerks and weight-pushing scums. 

This was how You Xi Wang became a reliable guy in the whole base.
