Chapter 275: Perfect Soul.

The wrath squad was busy packing up stuff and clear the barrack when suddenly the whole starry sky was covered with black smoky clouds. Victoria asked, "What is this phenomenon?"

Animo was about to say something when Lilian said, "Heavenly Tribulation."

Her two words shocked the two ladies. Animo asked, "Senior are you sure this is a heavenly tribulation?"

Lilian spoke, "This place is surrounded by a world array. The array is a combination of spirit runes and spirit array. The place where the array was arranged has been long sealed by ascended Mortal Realm Seniors. It is impossible for it to malfunction."

Animo Albus and Victoria both fell silent. Lilian was at the peak of Nirvana's rebirth realm and her knowledge was much profound than these two. Maddison walked inside the command center with a sullen face. She said, "Elders, You Xi Wang is out of his seclusion."

The three ladies suddenly jerked their heads in her direction. Maddison sighed as she nodded. The three ladies all teleported outside the base and located You Xi Wang. At this moment the boy was sitting on a rock with his legs crossed and eyes closed. Just when they were about to move towards him. A Cerulean Blue figure appeared in front of them. 

This figure was just like You Xi Wang. The boy smiled and bowed, "Junior has seen the seniors."

Animo Albus spoke, "Did you reach the peak of primal soul realm?"

The cerulean figure was You Xi Wang's soul avatar or should I say, one of his soul avatars. The boy nodded as he said, "I don't have much time left, the tribulation is here for me. Well, you see, my soul is a bit different."

Suddenly in the void, four more figures appeared. All in different colors. Lilian spoke, "Five elemental soul avatars?"

You Xi Wang nodded and replied, "Yes, when I reached primal soul realm, I assimilated all the elements in my soul sea with my primal soul infant. But later on, I survived a tribulation. Then to refine all the elements I split my soul avatar into five and refined them to the limit. The environment here is based on a world array but the spirit energy quality is very pure. As it is refined by the world array. Now that I want to merge my soul back. The heavens will try me. After all, my soul will become a pure spirit soul."

Lilian nodded, she said, "How confident are you?"

You Xi Wang smiled but did not reply. The reason was that if he replied that he was confident the tribulation will be more intense and if he said he had no confidence then his dao heart will become problematic

Thunder sounded, the boy bowed and said, "I will go, the tribulation is here." before the three ladies could say anything. The five soul avatars flickered and appeared over You Xi Wang. The five looked up at the black clouds. The violet-colored soul avatar spoke, "Better go together. Soul tribulations are different."

The rest nodded and held each other's hand. Soon a golden lightning whip formed. The whip snapped out at the five soul avatars. 

Snap!!!

The bolt fell between the five soul avatars. The five figures trembled but survived. They channeled the impact of the lightning among themselves. Refining it in an instant. The energy in the heavenly bolt was thus diffused and digested making themselves strong. The thunder clouds rumbled loudly. 

The aqua blue You Xi Wang spoke, "Seems like we still made it angry."

The vermillion soul avatar spat, "This bitch is angry at anyone who breaks the common sense." Then it raised the eyes to the sky and said, "Fuck you."

The heavens did not like it and suddenly a streak of lightning stronger and thicker than before fell on the vermillion You Xi Wang's head with a boom. The figure trembled and shook violently. They channeled the energy among them and dispelled the impurities they had left inside their soul avatars. After the refining and purification were done the five figures shone even brightly. Their colors become more vibrant and mesmerizing.

The three elders at the side were shocked. Animo said, "Book found himself a freak of nature."

Victoria nodded and said, "He may be a monster as you say he is but, the tribulation is getting stronger and stronger. I do not know how much more it will continue for."

Lilian at the side spoke up, "The next strike will be twice stronger than the last one. I hope he can hang in there." her words had just dropped when suddenly the thunder clouds started to rumble again.

A lightning strike as thick as a human thigh started to gather up in the sky. Suddenly the lightning streak moved and struck You Xi Wang's soul avatar. 

The Cerulean guy said, "Back to back? Easy to defend and easy to defend and easy to merge back."

The rest nodded and stood in a back to back over You Xi Wang's head. The third strike shook them all, the impact was so strong that it made the avatars bend down a little. It took them a few moments to stand up straight. Below, You Xi Wang's body was covered with sweat as it shivered slightly. 

It may be in form of elemental avatars, but it was his soul nonetheless. The impact did affect him. The pain as the avatars channeled the energy of the tribulation among themselves, almost made You Xi Wang kill himself and the pain grew with every strike significantly. They did not had the time to relax when the fourth streak started to condense. 

The vermillion colored You Xi Wang said, "Guys, hurry up to start merging, this is not giving us any chance. We cannot hold on at this pace."

Before they could think of anything else, the five avatars were struck by the fourth strike. The impact was so strong that the elders watching from the sideline took two steps back. Lilian spoke, "This is too strong of a trial."

The other two only nodded in silence. At this moment, You Xi Wang's soul avatars were all kneeling on the ground around You Xi Wang. The system was still residing inside his body. It said, [Pathetic excuses of souls, get your asses together. I did not sign up to be your baby sitter.]

The five soul avatars were all the split ups of his primary soul after all, hearing these words they all stood up with gusto. They all said in unison, "You blob of gas. I will show you who is running the shots here. Fucking side kick."

They all stomped on the ground and flew up in the sky. Animo albus watched the scene and said, "This is like a spirit array. Only when the avatars are in a sync will they able to merge."josei

Lilian said, "This is not as simple as a spirit array. Achieveing a synchronization with your own soul is even more difficult than that. It is more like a spirit rune. Only the unison of human and spirit will allow him to succeed." her tone was heavy.

You Xi Wang's soul avatars all raised their hands together pointing at the thunder clouds. They all waved their hands. The fifth streak of lightning, struck down at this moment. 

BANG!

The five soul avatars flew away due to the explosion. The physical body shook and coughed up a mouthful of blood. 

"Xi Wang." at this moment a cry echoed. 

The elders saw Yuki standing below on the ground, behind her stood the whole wrath squad. The ice-cold girl was about to rush over when Lilian flew up to her and held her in a embrace. She said, "Calm down, child. He will be fine. Trust him."

The soul avatars stood up staggeringly. They glided over the ground and slowly came together. They all raised their hands and waved them in different directions. In the sky, a golden light appeared. The clouds rumbled, the sixth streak of lightning started to condense. 

Victoria asked, "What is he doing?"

Animo Albus replied, "He is drawing a spirit rune in the sky. This way his soul will be in sync."

As the hands moved the lightning thickened. The system spoke, [You have one shot at this. Or you will be anhillated.]

The soul avatars did not bother to reply, at this moment the full focus was at the spirit rune in the sky. The lightning flashed but the soul avatars did not waver at all and kept on working on the spirit rune. Everyone held their breaths. Some even closed their eyes. 

The lightning flashed, it fell down on the spirit rune. The whole surrounding lit up with golden light. The glare made them all squint their eyes or even close it. It lasted for several minutes before it slowly vanished. Animo Albus opened her eyes when she sensed the golden light vanishing. She would never forget this sight in front of her eyes. 

A golden figure stood in the void with it's hand extended towards the lightning falling over him. The next moment the figure snapped his fingers, streak of heavenly lightning suddenly vanished. The golden figure was You Xi Wang's soul after merging together. He attained the perfect soul.
