Chapter 304: Tunnel.

Onyxia came to the group and was warmly received by the girls in the team. She was slightly surprised to see so many women among the outlanders. She turned around to face You Zhichi and said, "Miss, I have a question?"  josei

You Zhichi nodded to her, the girl asked, "Why do the people call you captain? Are you not the leader of this group?" 

She heard the others talking to You Zhichi and calling her Captain. This was her rank in the army, The captains were below the commanders. This was the chain of command in the group. You Zhichi smiled and shook her head. She briefly explained to her how the ranking of their team was different from the armies. 

She was the captain while the deputy commander was Fenny. Onyxia was surprised to learn that this lady, who could talk to her father on equal footing was not the leader of this group. This gave birth to another question in her heart, who was the leader then?

She gulped and before she could ask, Yuki on the side said with her finger raised in the opposite direction, "That boy outside the circle is our leader." 

Onyxia cast her gaze at Yuki and asked, "How did you know, what I wanted to ask?" 

Yuki spoke with a stone face, "This is obvious, you wish to talk to him about the tunnels before we enter them. Do you not?" 

Onyxia asked, "Yes, the incident in the tunnel is really weird and abrupt. We tried forcing sealing seals but it was not of any help. So, I wanted to tell you all about this first."

Yuki said, "I will ask him to come over." 

Onyxia was hesitant but since this girl took the initiative then she went forward with it. Yuki sent You Xi Wang a message in her comms and the boy came over in a blink. He saw Onyxia and gave her a slight bow, "Tell me, Your highness, what is it that you need to tell me about?" 

The girl said, "Sir, the dark mist inside the tunnel is not normal. It carries a trace of death and gloom within it. The people who fell down inside tunnels all became crazy. We have never seen such phenomena. So we captured a few of these people. After leaving the fog these people were all dead and withered like dry flowers." 

You Xi wang raised his eyebrow. He said, "Team, Alert." 

His voice was calm but his words were heard by all the troops and they all immediately sprang up in action. They stood up in attention and You Xi Wang said, "Form a curtain." 

The squad split and formed a parameter around You Xi Wang and the other people, even Djal, who came along with him was separated from the line of vision. Fenny was aware of his thoughts and she played a video clipping in front of the princess of the dwarves. She asked, "Is this scene similar to what happened inside the tunnels." 

Onyxia nodded and the mood became solemn. The dwarf princess was surprised, she did not expect these outlanders to have experienced something like this. Allan spoke, "Xiao Wang, what do you think we should do now?" 

You Xi Wang took a deep breath and spoke, "This mission just elevated from class A to class S+." 

The people were surprised, they all were aware of the criteria a mission was to be ranked. S+ meant a certain risk of life. Fenny said, "Let me tell you all, why this is an S+ mission. " she took a pause and then said, "We are heading to the mining tunnels of the dwarves. These tunnels are unknown to us, the terrain will lead us to the depths of the ground. The battle will not be fought out in the open. We have no idea how deep it may be, and how the tunnels run around. 

The depths can contain a primal soul realm expert inside or even stronger. The forces can vary from zombies to dark beasts and insects. However, we have a few advantages, such as spirit energy weapons. The guns will be able to move down the path with ease. Though we will have to be careful about the usage of spirit energy and work in batches." 

The people heard the analysis and nodded after the evaluation. This was the S+ mission because of the degree of uncertainty it had. You Xi Wang said, "We will be using spirit stones to fuel ourselves. I will arrange a few teleportations formations around the entrance. Remember, if anyone of you was to sense danger and unable to solve it, you will be out of the tunnels but the abrupt withdrawal will cause the burden on your team to increase tenfold. 

You know what that means. So, be careful inside. We will prepare the equipment needed to seal the dark energy. Prepare, the expedition begins in the morning." 

What he wanted to prepare was the array flag in a bulk mass to help them seal the tunnels as they advanced. Fenny directed her list of necessities to Onyxia, who nodded and agreed to fulfill them. The spirit land lacked anything but spirit stones and adaptability. The dwarves heard that they were needed to craft array spells and they all began to burn the furnaces. 

The Dwarf King arranged for a delicious meal for the outlanders at night. You Xi Wang was inspecting his gear when Yuki and Gena came to his side. The latter asked, "What do we do if the one inside is nirvana rebirth realm?"

This question worried You Xi Wang as well. He said, "If the opponent is indeed Nirvana rebirth realm, then I will take it on with big sis. We have the martial spirits to aid us. You all will evacuate so that we can fight with ease and also, help the dwarves to get out of this place. It may be hard but they will understand."

The two girls exchanged glances but they had made a decision before they came over to him. If anything happened to him, then they will not live as well. The night fell and the sun rose up. You XI Wang stood in front of the tunnels with his team.
