Chapter 324: Oh Damn.

You Xi Wang was using the spirit energy stored inside his dantian to cover up his body and found some relief from the pain. The amount of spirit energy he had was higher than that of the normal cultivators. The process was slow and the requirement was now. So what the system did was to not leave any single resource at his expense.  The system would have cursed this guy for not keeping any elixirs around him at such a time and they had to resort to recycling.

The progress was slow but the result was evident. The system foresaw that the spirit energy will be running out so, it took the initiative and used some spirit energy to cast a rune. A spirit rune was much more efficient than that of the high-level arrays. What's more? Runes collected better and purer spirit energy. 

You Xi Wang did not notice all this but kept on using the spirit energy fed to him silently. It took him a week to shed the skin on his body and the time to recast it was even slower. The process was not a smooth one-go thing, but it was divided into condensing the spirit energy into muscle fiber, ligament, and tissues, then the lower epidermal, the upper epidermal, finally Hair. This was going to take him a lot of time and patience. 

When the human mind performs one task constantly, it will become sluggish. So You Xi Wang did things differently to keep his already exhausted mind alert. He would sometimes completely deal with the inch of the area, like condensing the spirit energy in all the forms needed. Then in another instance, he will just do the base layer and move on with the next inch. 

Throughout the process, he was very patient. He covered his eyes as soon as he started the recasting because when he saw himself as a skeleton with live organs, he was a little creeped out. After a whole month of tedious work, he finally finished recasting the flesh. 

At this moment, he sat on the boulder with skin glowing like jade. The system spoke in his mind, "Finally, finished."

The system snorted and said, "Finally some conscience. What now?"

The system paused and said, "Do you not know that a thunder tribulation is gathering at this place?" 

"Oh damn." sighed You Xi Wang.

As soon as the recasting was finished, he triggered the heavenly tribulation. The reason was that he had a five-elemental body. This was strongly opposing the shackles set by the heavens so it had to go through the trails.
