“Mr. Laurence, I’m going to check on Hailey,” she informed Bernard, who nodded slightly. Once Liana left the room, Bernard slowly stood up.
The tall figure of Bernard loomed over Yeager like a mountain, making him shrink back on the floor. He felt suffocated, seeing himself in such a helpless
