She picked up the pillow in her arms, got up, and went back to her room. After washing up, she lay on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling
In the middle of the night, after the lights in the Spencer family’s mansion had all been extinguished, Caleb climbed onto the windowsill, pushed open the window, and skillfully made his way to Katharine’s bedside
