The Big Boss had forgotten that he was an accomplice himself.

Xia Ling dragged him to a quiet place before thrashing things out with him. “What’s wrong with you, she pounced your way and you actually welcomed her with open arms?! Did you enjoy holding her? Why didn’t you just let her fall!”

Boss meekly said, “I...”

“What?! Why are you dressed so flirtatiously in the middle of the night?! You know that you’ll attract ladies, why didn’t you stay home and wait for me?!” Xia Ling tugged at his sports attire—the thin fabric was unable to conceal his well-built muscles, the inverse triangle proportion, and that toned abdomen...

She was even angrier now. “You’re so handsome, stay home and stop creating trouble!”

Boss said, “I...” He was really being wronged. To be fair, his attire was already the most conservative model in the market! If anything, it was his outstanding figure that made him attractive regardless of what he wore.

Boss looked like a large tamed animal looking at its owner after it had been wronged; he was just short of wagging a tail.

Xia Ling looked at those puppy eyes and was slightly appeased. She said, a little harshly still, “In the future, don’t leave the house unless I’m with you! Got it?!”

Boss nodded his head quickly.

He then nudged Queen Xiao Ling. “I know I’m in the wrong. Shall we go home now?”

It was the thick of fall, and the winds were chilly. As it swept through them, it carried along with it the faint scent of her perfume, as appealing as always. Boss quietly took in some of it and immediately felt warm inside. Although Xiao Ling was angry, he was actually happy—because he knew that Xiao Ling was getting jealous over him.

How much he must mean to her for her to react this way.

Li Lei looked down and kissed her head, saying gently, “I’ll prepare some good food when we’re home.”

Xia Ling was finally coaxed now and happily held his hand as they walked to the carpark. “It’s about time we got home, I still have an appointment tomorrow. I want bird’s nest with rock sugar, and snow pear with white fungus.”

“Sure, anything you want.” Boss was more than happy.

Their silhouettes gradually faded into the dark of night.

The next day, the training camp posted an announcement, appointing the girl who had seduced Li Lei the night before—Hua Mei’er—to be a committee member for conduct and discipline. She was to be responsible for supervising the trainees’ dressing in particular. The appointment sparked a lot of discussions. Why was the school management so strict about this all of a sudden?

Some curious fellow had read the entire announcement in detail and realized that there was information about how this new appointment came about. It basically mentioned that the previous night, Hua Mei’er had accidentally stumbled into Big Boss Li’s embrace, and Big Boss Li had found that she was wearing too little, but subsequently found out from her that she was in that attire because of dance practice. However, considering that the attire itself did not benefit the practice in any way, the school management had decided to standardize the attire...

Well, there was gossip wherever there were people.

Not to mention this place was filled with youth whose hormones were raging, and that the announcement concerned each and every one of them. It did not take long for someone to find out about Hua Mei’er’s background—she came from an ordinary family and engaged in “compensated dating” outside of school in order to get herself a branded bag. In the end, however, she’d been cheated. Not only was she unable to get the branded bag, she even had to spend extra money for an abortion. Not long after, she had bumped into Big Boss Li.

Everybody was no fool.

They understood that Hua Mei’er was trying to get something out of Big Boss Li. But who knew she’d get herself into such a predicament. Rather than saying that she had been appointed a role, it was actually a warning for the rest of the school, to let everyone know what they should stay away from.

“Poor thing...” During lunch break, some people saw Hua Mei’er holding a pen and a book and walking from room to room noting down the measurements of the school uniforms. She received countless sarcastic remarks on the way, and someone even exclaimed, “Who asked her to offend Big Boss Li. Did she think she could afford to get involved with someone as godly as him? Now she’s brought the entire training camp down with her and we won’t get beautiful clothes anymore. It’s hard not to hate her for this.”

Another trainee added, “Didn’t she look at herself in the mirror? She’s cheap from head to toe, and still shameless enough to throw herself at Big Boss Li! Did she think he had such bad taste?”

“Exactly, Boss already has Ye Xingling. How is she comparable to Miss Ling in any way?”

She heard every single one of them.

Hua Mei’er was fuming and yet had no words to rebuke them. She had no choice but to swallow her anger and continue her task of recording the measurements. From today on, her name was completely ruined—even the attendants of the dorm had looked at her with despise when she entered the building. She felt hurt and offended.

It was too late to regret all she had done, she really should not have offended the wrong people!

But she wasn’t the only one who was regretting her actions.

The other was Ye Xingfei.

Ye Xingfei regretted going to bed early the night before and not doing extra practice before the monthly assessment. During the assessment earlier today, she had dropped out of the top 10 in class for the first time ever, landing in 11th place.

She found that it was because a classmate who had always been of a lower standard, Ouyang Shuangshuang, had surpassed her and made it to 10th place.

Coincidence, it had to be a coincidence!

Ye Xingfei swore to herself that she would take back her placing in the next assessment!

When class ended, she saw a few girls approaching Ouyang Shuangshuang. “Shuangshuang, congratulations on making it in the top 10. We were all shocked, weren’t you in 20th place for the assessment last month?” These few girls were rather good friends with Ouyang Shuangshuang and remembered her placing.

Shuangshuang smiled and said a little shyly, “It’s all thanks to Miss Ling. She gave me one-to-one coaching yesterday, and I managed to pick it up. I practiced through the night to be able to do well today.”

The girls looked envious as they chirped. “Wow, that’s so cool! Miss Ling is really a Diva. She only guided you for a while and you managed to make such a huge improvement.”

“I heard Miss Ling will give talks and seminars in the future. Even if she says the Earth is flat, I’ll give her all my attention! It’s worth the effort if I could earn a place for her one-to-one coaching!”

“Me too, we’ll fight for it together!”

The few girls huddled together with the same goal and drive.

Meanwhile, Ye Xingfei’s expression got increasingly awful. So, Ouyang Shuangshuang managed to beat her because of Xia Ling’s coaching?! Why did it have to be her nemesis, Xia Ling?!

She was in a daze when her classmate Liu Li said, “Feifei, it seems like Miss Ling’s guidance is very useful. You’re her sister... S-sorry, I meant, even if Miss Ling has already left the Ye family, the two of you are biological sisters, after all. Why don’t you take advantage of this and get her to help you? You’ll definitely be able to improve by leaps and bounds.”
