Reynolds was on his way to meet up with Grey and Klaus. Alice was the only one left to break through to the Sovereign Plane and meet up with the group so they could invade the Gnomes' world.

Alice's current location was unknown to her friends. Currently, she was traveling a dangerous path. This path is said to be deadly as there were not only people who would attack those traveling the path, but there were Magical Beasts, traps, and even naturally formed arrays that could trap people in another dimension. These naturally formed arrays were so dangerous that even people like Grey's father would rather avoid it than doing anything with it. There are some that are so dangerous, it is said they've killed Gods in the past.

These arrays are not common, but there are a few places that are labeled forbidden zones due to these arrays. Most people would tend to avoid it, but Alice was heading to one of such forbidden zones at the moment.

The reason for that was simple, these forbidden zones, due to the lack of human interference, tend to develop amazing treasures that are very good for Elementalists of all elements and Planes. They attract mercenaries and others, there are also people who camp outside the region to rob those who entered these forbidden zones for the benefits they hold.

Alice got to the entrance of the forbidden zone, and she could sense the eerie aura around the place. It was almost as if this was a separate world on its own. If not for the fact that she could tell it was connected to the world she's currently in, she would've believed it was part of another world.

This forbidden zone was located in the middle of a canyon, and compared to the normal rocks, it was almost like a forest. Thick trees could be seen, and there was even the sound of flowing water.

She looked at the sides, with a soft chuckle, she took the first step and walked in. She could sense the eyes staring at her as she walked into this place.

As soon as she entered, her countenance changed. She's been trying to break through to the Sovereign Plane now, and just like Reynolds, she was missing something. She felt she might be able to find what she's missing here. If not, she'll continue her search until she's successful.

Her friends needed her, and she also needed to grow stronger for the upcoming war. Only the strong will have a say over their lives. If she remained weak, she wouldn't even have the right to live. Her entire existence would depend on if the Gnomes want to keep her alive or not. This was not something she wanted, she wanted to have her life in her hands, so even without her friends, she would still strive this hard to get to the Sovereign Plane.

The forest was almost like any regular one, but after a few minutes of walking, she understood why it's different from a regular one and why it's regarded as a forbidden zone.

A mist blew past her with the breeze, and the second she inhaled some parts of it, her entire face turned purple. She quickly used the ice ability of the Seelie to seal the mist in her body, forcing it out.

When she saw the color of the mist, she was dumbfounded. It wasn't any mist, now that it had been frozen, she saw what it clearly was. It was a small creature. It looked identical to bugs, but it was very tiny that it could blend with the wind as if it were mist.

She used the ice to freeze all parts of her body, forcefully expelling the mists to touch her skin. More of these tiny creatures appeared and she shivered slightly. The reason for this was because she didn't feel any form of discomfort when these things touched her skin, and it was only when she inhaled it that she sensed it. There's a possibility that they might've been able to cause great damage to her body without her noticing early.

She was about to continue her journey when she noticed the ground was sinking. Not actually sinking per se, more like something large was coming out of the ground.

Without hesitation, she retreated from the area.

As soon as her feet touched the ground, she felt her heart skip as goosebumps showed on her body. Without even thinking, she covered her legs with lightning and kicked out.

The place her feet landed on, a Centipede-like creature came from the ground, trying to grab hold of her, but her kick sent it flying back. It slammed into the ground and vanished into the sand.

The part of the ground that was previously sinking returned back to normal.

"What an ingenious method." She was impressed with the creature's plan. It was a good one actually, it's just that she was quick and had sharp senses. So she was able to stop the creature from succeeding.

'This is not enough to hold me back.'

She continued on her journey. It has only been a few minutes, yet she has encountered two dangerous situations. Fortunately, she reacted quickly and was able to solve them without having to fight.

It's almost as if this place was testing the reaction speed of anyone. If she had reacted slower on the second time, and even the first time, she might've gotten killed by either of the attacks.

Alice didn't have any thoughts of giving up. This was a good opportunity for her, and she wasn't going to retreat in fear. According to the few things she knew about this place, there are some Sovereign level dangers here, and even some Rank Eight Magical Beasts. As long as she avoided those, she would be safe in this dangerous place.

Alice was living in danger just to get to the Sovereign Plane. Her figure soon disappeared into the large forest.
