#148 “I Preferred Them Right On…”
“Why didn’t we have music?” Sophia asked after realizing how quiet it was on the roof.
“I was wondering when you would ask, ” grinned Alexander. He got up and offered her a hand. Sophia
smiled and followed him. Alexander ushered her back into the building.
“Why were we coming back?” Sophia asked.
“Because you wanted music, and I wasn’t done with surprises.”
“My God, was there more?” Sophia was amazed.
Alexander pushed the button on the elevator and took them down. As soon as the door opened in front
of them, there was a long corridor with doors everywhere. Sophia looked at him in astonishment.
“When I asked about your past, it was because you were very interesting to me, and every time I
discovered something new about you. However, a friend of yours helped me discover something else.”
“What?”
“You were not only a talented lawyer, Sophia, but also a talented musician,” said Alexander and
stopped in front of one of the doors.
“I played several pieces in front of you, “laughed Sophia.
“Rather, I’m talking about the ones you didn’t play for me. You had original compositions, and I knew it
was a dream to hear them performed by an entire orchestra.” grinned Alexander.
Sophia stared at him. He opened the door and ushered her into one of the halls, which turned out to be
a concert hall. A video was projected on the stage in which Sophia, as a student, presented her
composition.
“Where did you find that?” she laughed.
“Wait,” said Alexander.
He gave a signal with his hand, and soon an entire orchestra was revealed before Sophie’s eyes,
which began to play her song along with her video. The music filled the hall, a symphony of emotions
intertwined with the visual story of Sophia’s artistic journey. As the melodies resonated, Sophia was
overwhelmed with a mixture of surprise, joy, and gratitude.
The harmonious notes of her composition filled the air, creating a magical ambiance in the concert hall.
Alexander watched her reaction with a satisfied smile, pleased with the success of his orchestrated
surprise.
Sophia, moved by the unexpected serenade, couldn’t help but be grateful for the depth of Alexander’s
understanding and the effort he put into making this evening truly unforgettable. As the last note
lingered in the air, she turned to Alexander, her eyes shining with appreciation.
“This was… incredible,” Sophia breathed out, her heart still resonating with the echoes of the music.
Alexander extended his hand. “Shall we?” he invited, leading her to a more intimate spot in the hall
where they could continue to enjoy the music and each other’s company.
Sophia was still coming to terms with what Alexander had done for her. He spoke to her as he led her
to a remote lodge, but she couldn’t concentrate on his words.
As soon as he noticed that Sophia was not listening to him, Alexander approached her.
“Was everything okay?” he asked her carefully, running his hand through her back.
Sophia didn’t answer. She stood on her toes and pulled him by the collar of his T-shirt. She kissed him
hard and thirsty.
Alexander growled in satisfaction as their lips met. But then he carefully pulled her away from him.
“I didn’t do it for that,” he told her.
“I know, “Sophia whispered, her voice dripping with desire, and pulled him into another kiss.
Sophia realized for the first time how much she wanted him. She liked the feel of his strong arms
around her body, his soft lips on hers, the taste of him, everything.
Sophia bit his lower lip and gave a small moan as he ran his fingers through her hair.
“Sophia, if we kept going like this…” Alexander warned her.
“What would happen, Alexander?” Sophia defiantly asked him.
“You had no idea how hard it was for me to keep my hands off you, did you?”
“I’m a big girl, Alex. And no one asked you to keep your hands off me. In fact, right now, I preferred
them right on…”
Alexander interrupted Sophia with a passionate kiss. The tension between them escalated, their bodies
moving closer, and the world outside the lodge faded into the background as they succumbed to the
fiery desire that had been building between them.
