After Transmigrating as a Tycoon’s Wife, My Thoughts Are Heard by the Whole Family

Chapter 314

Chapter 314

The ex-wife had just delivered a satisfying act of revenge. She turned to Yu's Father, her eyes filled with mockery, though her words were cloaked in righteousness. "Old Yu, next time you marry, make sure to keep your eyes open. Oh, wait, you can't have children anymore, so what's the point? Just forget it. No need to play the cheap father figure again."

The ex-wife harbored deep resentment for this couple and wasn’t about to let either of them off easily. Her words were meant to cut deep.

Ke Yun'er's reaction had already been an indirect admission of guilt. Now, with the ex-wife's biting sarcasm, Yu's Father was on the verge of collapsing.

Others rushed to support him, keeping him upright. After all, it was his wedding, his wife—he had to deal with this mess himself.

Once he caught his breath, Yu's Father lunged forward and, before Ke Yun'er could react, slapped her twice across the face.

"You wretch! After all I’ve done for you, you betray me like this? Tell me, who’s your lover? Don’t waste my time making me investigate!" Finally facing reality, Yu's Father was consumed by humiliation and rage, ready to destroy the woman who had embarrassed him so publicly.

Ke Yun'er had never endured such humiliation, especially in front of so many people. She lost all restraint and screamed, "You’ve been good to me? You’re nothing but a lecherous old man!"

"What? You were the one who seduced me! You wanted to climb the ladder!" Yu's Father shot back, gasping for breath.

His words only made Ke Yun'er more hysterical. "I respected you like an elder, cared for you like one! But you took advantage of my kindness. If it weren’t for your inappropriate intentions, my parents wouldn’t have drugged me and sent me to your bed. You shameless old man! Did you really think I’d willingly climb into your bed? I was forced into this from the start!"

Yu's Father's face turned green with anger. "I’ve never forced a woman in my life. If your family set this up, that’s on them. If you were truly forced, why didn’t you speak up afterward? You could’ve sued! Instead, you played the devoted girlfriend and even agreed to marry me. Did I force you into that?"

On this point, Yu's Father wasn’t wrong. He was known for his womanizing ways, but he never resorted to coercion.

Still, both parties had their share of grievances in this situation.

Ke Yun'er broke down. "What was I supposed to do? The damage was done. You ruined any chance I had with the man I truly loved. I had no choice but to settle for you."

After all, it wasn’t just anyone—it was a father-son relationship. She knew she could never openly marry Yu Yue. If she wanted to stay close to him, she had to settle for his father.

Yu's Father, however, felt like he’d been played. "This isn’t some ancient drama! It’s not all my fault. I feel like I’ve been scammed!"

To everyone else, Ke Yun'er's story sounded far-fetched. No one had ever heard of a young, beautiful woman doting on a notorious womanizer like a father figure. It was bound to be misunderstood.

But those who knew the truth understood that Ke Yun'er had indeed treated Yu's Father like a future father-in-law, hoping to win his favor and perhaps even become his daughter-in-law.

Unfortunately, Yu's Father mistook her kindness for flirtation, leading to this mess. It was a situation too absurd to comprehend.

"I don’t care about your twisted excuses. I’ve done nothing wrong. You’re the one who owes me an explanation! Tell me, who is it?" Yu's Father demanded, his fiery gaze sweeping over the other men in the Yu family, his expression dark.

Ke Yun'er, however, fell silent, still playing the martyr for love.

But the other men in the Yu family weren’t about to let this slide. They needed answers.

Yu Yi’s heart raced. Based on what Ke Yun'er had said earlier, it seemed she and Yu Yue had been involved, even discussing having another child. That night, Yu Yue had also been drunk. Maybe, like him, Yu Yue didn’t remember what happened. Perhaps this could be brushed off as a misunderstanding.

But when Yu Yi looked up, he saw Yu Yue completely ignoring Ke Yun'er. Was he really that confident?

This made Yu Yi uneasy.

"Not talking? Fine, we’ll investigate this together!" Yu's Father roared.

Ke Yun'er panicked. She was sacrificing herself for love and had to protect Yu Yue at all costs. She quickly glanced at him, expecting him to step in now, no matter how indifferent he’d been before.

But instead, she saw Yu Yue showing something on his phone to Bai Xiaoxi, pinching her cheek affectionately and urging her to relax.

Bai Xiaoxi, engrossed in the phone, shot him an annoyed look. Yu Yue laughed, then pretended to pout, prompting Bai Xiaoxi to stand on her tiptoes and kiss him.

The sight burned Ke Yun'er’s eyes. While she was suffering, they were... How could they? Why?

Now, Ke Yun'er was too exhausted to wonder why Yu Yue was so confident.

She suddenly laughed, her laughter growing wild and bitter, feeling utterly betrayed.

"If you’re going to be this heartless, don’t blame me for being ruthless. Even if I go to hell, I won’t go alone," Ke Yun'er shouted at Yu Yue, her words instantly drawing everyone’s attention to him.

"That child I lost wasn’t yours—it was your son’s! You almost became a grandfather!" Ke Yun'er sneered at Yu's Father, her expression bordering on madness.

Everyone except those who already knew the truth was stunned, unable to process what they’d just heard.

The room fell silent.

They had suspected every man in the Yu family—except Yu Yue.

After all, Yu Yue’s obsession with Bai Xiaoxi was practically a cautionary tale among the elite. Who would neglect their family business just to dote on their wife?

But that was exactly what Yu Yue did, always orbiting around Bai Xiaoxi. So the idea of him cheating with Ke Yun'er was hard for anyone to swallow.

The Bai family reacted first, looking at Yu Yue without outright suspicion but clearly waiting for an explanation.

Yu's Father, however, stared at his son in shock. He had never been close to Yu Yue and knew the boy resented him for his mother’s death.

So when Ke Yun'er made her accusation, Yu's Father was inclined to believe it, wondering if this was Yu Yue’s revenge.

But the next second, Yu Yue scoffed, "Am I blind? Why would I sleep with you? Don’t flatter yourself—it’s disgusting."

Yu Yue had been wanting to curse at Ke Yun'er for a while, and now she’d given him the perfect opportunity.

Hearing such cruel words, Ke Yun'er froze, as if the person she’d imagined had shattered before her eyes.

They had shared something, so how could he say something so brutal?

"Why... why would you say that? Don’t you believe the child was yours? Don’t you remember that night at the old house? We both drank, I went to your room, and even though you left in the morning, you slept with me. Can you deny that?" Ke Yun'er pleaded like a scorned woman, questioning her betrayer.

"I drank, but I wasn’t drunk."

"No! That’s impossible! You’re just refusing to admit it!"

"Why wouldn’t I admit it? Because I wasn’t even in my room that night. Right... Uncle Yu Yi?" Yu Yue turned to Yu Yi.
