Chapter 410: The emperor strikes back (2)

Arial took a deep breath, in and out as his body seems to be thrumming with energy.

Arial is now in his large bathtub, his face is solemn and his eyes is cold. Outside the officers each came with a wagon of large barrel.

The dozens officers kneel outside the bathtub tent and announce. 

'Your Imperial Majesty, the delivery has arrived. Your servant has been faithfully collecting the barrels. Should I put it in the warehouse, Imperial Majesty?' 

One of the leading officers informing the Emperor, his knee is kneeling in front of the large bathtub, his head is looking down at the ground, not daring to show any signs of arrogance.

Then from inside the bathhouse, a deep voice emanating with power spoke.

'Leave it outside and be gone.' Arial reply. 

'Your command, this servant has received.' The officers look relieved, looking at each other releasing a relieved sigh and quickly they make themselves scarce. 

Arial then went outside and one by one took the barrel inside the bathtub and one by one he throws the content of the barrel into the large bathtub. 

With a breaking sound the barrel smashed into the cold hard granite and from the barrels, liquid poured out. 

Red liquid. 

This is why all the officers are afraid when they do their duty to the emperor. The emperor started doing this after he kills the royal family of the Zettelian royalty. 

He ordered the men to drain all the blood of the enemies they killed after they won the battle into a barrel and send it to him.

And what does he do with all this blood? 

Training his Killing Qi. Arial realized it when he kills that his body emits a faint aura of restrictiveness towards his enemies. 

Earlier during his first war the aura is faint but after all the war he has experienced he finally realizes it. 

His body is emitting what many of martial artist said a Killing Qi. 

For someone like Arial who has never learns about martial art the normal way, this is a revelation to him. 

Of course Killing Qi is not easily seen and not many people possess it. 

Only one who has killed hundreds of thousand would emit a very powerful Killing Qi that could even make people die just by the pressure. 

When people fear is heightened to the extreme, they could even die of a heart attack. What the mind believes, the body believes. 

If the brain believes that it is dying, then the body might even die just by one word. This is the power of the Killing Qi. 

How do Arial know all this? When he first takes his position as Emperor in Venicia he quickly expanded the navy. 

Instead of a trade ports trying to encourage trades as the Emperor intended, Venicia for the first few month of development, it was like Venicia is preparing a great naval war. 

Then he quickly uses this navy sending a few of great officers to inform the news of his coronation to the other continent and it is during this time when his officers encountered of a new continent populated by the Han people. 

The Han people are the ancestors of the Eastian people and their existence is shocking to Arial.

who would have thought they still exist and thrive in another continent? 

This journey takes the officer about two years on the sea, using the Imperial gold to travel the world. 

From what Arial could make out from the reports it is civilized continent and from the reports it also says all of them practice in martial arts and very proficient in it. 

So Arial establish trade with that continent and the continent of that foreign people accepted his delegation

The officer name that achieved this great deed, sailing the treacherous sea is Hedrick and he also learns the continent language and become of the famous person in the Empire as a great adventurer. 

As rewards for this successful endeavor he will be promoted to officer of the fifteen ranks when he returns and maybe Arial would give him the title Division Thirteen Admiral. 

Hearing this news Hedrick sent the Emperor some gift of gratitude by giving it to the traders that come to trade with the Ming Continent to be delivered to the Emperor Palace that is newly completed.

The last time he sent Arial translated books in martial art and it is then he found that internal energy is referred as Qi in their continent and that they have many battle skills, all were sold in markets. 

Of course those book techniques are of the inferior quality but Arial who have no basics would really like to learn it so he sent about 5000 thousand gold to the officers to buy all the books they can about martial arts.

Right now Arial is in Zettel and is using one of the Palaces of the former royal family. The new construction project has begun. 

A few days later he would return back to Eden the Imperial City at Arden, the new name of Vangua.

He will then establish the laws of the Empire formally to all the people of the Empire.

There are many things to do when he returns home. If not for the rebellion, he will not even come to Zettel.

And not to mention her daughter. 

She is still refusing to go out of the tower and rarely she goes out of the castle, becoming very depressed after the death of her mother. josei

Maybe in a way she is blaming herself.

Arial had tried many ways to cheer up her daughter yet there is no visible result.

It is miraculous Arial could get such profound internal energy at his age. 

If not for the luck that guided him and the teachings of Levitia he could never become the man he is today.
