Chapter 517: Three kingdoms (3)

Many of those high ranking members of Three Great Tribes know about the prophecy of the Ages and they also know that the Conqueror will not came from the Tribes. 

How could they accept such things? Accept an Outsider?

To have to worship a man not of their blood! Not of their lineage! So, they wanted to steal His destiny. 

Pull the sword from the white stone and take the Conqueror place in history. Anything is better than worshipping and obeying an Outlander.

The Three Great Tribes hated Outlander more than most tribes. 

Considering they got the curse for wounding and plotting against Nasrana, killing the Great Prophet most loved person, the bright and fair Red Hair Maiden in his quest of spreading the Truth, no wonder the Three Great Tribes hated Outlanders to their bones.

The Bright and Fair Red Hair Maiden. This is her titles in the obscure books about the first love of the Great prophet.

Her name was never mentioned but it was written that the Great Prophet loved the woman very much and was in grief after her death so much so, that the Creator in Heaven was enraged and curses the Thirteen Tribes.

There is maybe reason why the Three Great Tribe hated the Outlanders and that reason is probably because they rarely interacted with other cultures, or they have too much pride in their tribes

The Three Great tribes has always seen themselves as a superior tribes compared to all the other Ten Tribes.

This has been so since antiquity. 

They are arrogant but also powerful which is why even now; the hierarchy of power amongst the Thirteen Tribes has never changed.

But now, that hierarchy is challenged. 

The Shadowlands is open again, the mist of Darkness that only the three Great Tribes could handle is now thinning as the other part of the Novus Gaia is now foul with black miasma and Darkly Things began to spawn.josei

All of the Ten Tribes that has to submit to the orders of the Three Great Tribe now could challenge the supremacy of the Three Kingdoms of the Shadowlands and change the hierarchy of power once again.

'Warchief Arial, do you need other services?' That sultry and seductive voice woke Arial from his musings.

Looking at his feet, he could see the servant girl eyeing him seductively and Arial could see the lust inside her eyes.

'No' Arial coldly said, cutting any plots or schemes the girl wanted to use to seduce him.

'You are dismissed' Arial said gesturing the girl to leave with his hand. 

The servant girl face turned sullen but bowing down she exited the tent. Arial then shouted

'Summon Ragar to my tent' The servants outside the tent heard his Warchief and quickly inform the messenger. 

The messenger who was just finished drinking with his fellow tribes people in one of the captain tent quickly was jolted to action.

The messenger washes his face, drinks a Rejuvenating Potions made from many awakening properties herb that was squeezed to create the potions, as his faculty of mind returns.

He then rushes out of his tent and jumps into one of the horses in the makeshift stable and sprints toward General Ragar tent.

Arial who was inside his tent is drinking a bottle of wine in a matter of seconds as he lay down on his tiger fur mattress.

Ragar tent is far away and it will take at least a quarter of an hour for him to come here. Not to mention Arial know that the army training is not yet finished.

Arial also knows Ragar intention on why he is supporting Arial recruiting of people.

The reason why the Three Great Tribes remains the Overlords of Novus Gaia was because their reserve and strongest forces is all inside the Shadowlands, hidden deeply and safely from other tribes to attack or plot against. 

The other Tribes know they cannot be like the Three Great Tribes that could fight deep into the Darkness of Shadowlands.

Before the Three Kingdoms was founded there is no civilization on Shadowlands. 

It was a vast land with only darkness and Darkly Things that spawn from the Void of Darkness.

But then as year turns to decade, and decade turns to century, the Three Great Tribes Dark Hunters began to settle themselves in the Darkness of the Shadowlands. 

This began about three decades ago, long after the Walled City of Ragora has already been established and erected their Magic and their Round Table.

From settlements it becomes into a village, village turned to city. And city turns into a Kingdom.

The land was then divided between the Three Great Tribes to prevent the Three Tribes from going to war against each other for lands.

The lands of the Shadowlands are vast and natural resources can be found almost anywhere. 

It is only dangerous because of the Darkly Spawns but the Three Great tribe keeps the peace with their Dark Hunters that lives on Shadowlands.

But even they knew, this paradise that they created for themselves will not last. They began warred each other, began shedding blood and wage battles.

When the Horn was sounded out, the Three Kings of the Three Kingdoms knew that a momentous change is beginning as all of the Tribes will now swarm to the Shadowlands.

Their worries finally became a reality.

Arial could imagine the unrest that the Three Kingdoms would face with this many influxes of immigrants entering the Shadowlands.

For centuries they have been trying to find the Ancient Gate without any result to speak of. They have been trying to search for it long before they settle inside the Shadowlands.

But now, when the Horn was sounded out, The Three Kings knows that the Ancient Gate could be found.

The battle is nearing and as such the Ancient Gate must appear. 

It has been prophesied that anyone that is able to unify the Shadowlands, will be able to see the Ancient Gate.

And when the Three Kings heard that the other tribes could now enter the Shadowlands, something clicked in their mind.

To recruit soldiers and unify the land. 

The reason why the Three Kingdoms could not fight to excessively is because they have limited number of people and if they warred to excessively, the tribes outside the Shadowlands might be impacted and could not stage a comeback if the other tribes attack and destroys them.

But now, like heaven-sent, people are flocking into the Shadowlands. Their tribes have also entered.

And the desire to unify the land and open the ancient gate burns again inside the heart of the Three Kings.

Arial on the other hand would not deign to obey to some Kings in these lands. How could he? 

He is an Emperor of a vast empire, and he has seen his shares of war. He killed and slay Kings, a warrior Emperor, the God of War of Eden.

When Ragar persuade him to amass soldiers and unify the Shadowlands, he of course while hesitating did not actually hate the idea.

Slowly as they moved through the lands and encounters people, Arial and his band of people began fighting those that also have the same ideas as him.

With his prowess he scared many of his enemies and soon Arial become famous and resulted in the increase of his following.

When Arial had a thousand people following him he began to organize his troops. They rob the horses of the Saranites and began forming cavalry.

Arial established a different kind of army then the army of his imperial army. 

The people of the Tribes are not educated in the art of war unlike the people of the continents which studies this matter very extensively, so hard and complex commands will only worsen army cohesiveness.

So, Arial established a new army. 

It was highly organized and Arial success on the battlefield of Novus Gaia can be attributed more to organization and discipline than to tactical innovation.

And they are some Outlanders that Arial caught who are an expert in siege warfare which will prove to be useful when Arial enters the Shadowlands.

Most of this expert siege warfare comes from Ariundus or Asteros. And Arial leadership which is different and unique also helps to bolster the morale of his men.

Arial appointed officers of his army on the basis of merits rather than family connections or tribe's abilities.

While this might seem normal to Arial, it is a truly a new idea in the Lands of Novus Gaia. Usually each tribe will always favor their own tribesman or their groups of people.

Since Arial even in his Empire, put an importance in people talents rather than lineage, the men below him all is motivated in battle, to gain merits and become promoted.

Arial retained the traditional decimal organization of the armies of the Thirteen Tribes but formalized it into a more permanent structure.

Arial actually modified the Orcs army structure when he fought in the Civil War of the Orcs where he helped the House of Vor in the Grassy Plains and improve on the army structure 

A squad consisted of ten men, ten squad is a Company (100 men), ten company made a Battalion (1000 men), ten Battalion made a Division (Ten thousand men) and ten division made a Corps.

Arial incorporated the forces of subjugated tribesmen into his army on the same basis.
