Pancadongeng told the people not to worry. They calm the soldiers and reminded the young of the old stories.

In time of the Great Chaos, before the Ancient Gate is opened, the winds of cold winter would come.

They reminded them to warm themselves up and do not lose hope. For this wind of winter would only stay for a moment

Warmth will come. This abnormality is terrifying but it is not endless. This is the word of the Pancadongeng.

It wasn't until the Great battle between Asrana Mahava and Maharai Vasir that the winds could become permanent.

People who are in the city of course did not know how many people had died outside the three kingdoms. Some of them who are strong could still probably lived among the darkness.

But the pilgrims, those who come from the outside and enter the Three Kingdoms, they are the lucky ones.

At least they could still see the sun and then protection of the wall, protected them from the horde of demon spawn and Mudborns.

At it near morning, large fire could be seen everywhere around the city. Nobody was worried that the city would accidentally get burned down. 

With how cold the air is, they might not even care if the city is burning own if it could stave off the warmth

People in their houses huddled together and the soldiers slept around the large bonfire. And then, morning came. 

The moment the sun came up, like there is a force in the city, the wind become warmer.

Everyone could feel the change and they were all happy. The soldiers extinguish the fire, but they are ready to ignite it again if they feel it again.

Some cheers and when the market is open, everyone wanted to buy more whale oil. They fear that tomorrow morning would also have such coldness invading their homes

They could not withstand it if that is the case. Those who is in the three kingdoms knows that all of this are the omens of the impending battle.

If this kind of story is spread to the people of the Human Continent, they would probably scoff at the people of the Thirteen tribe, believing them to be superstition and backward race.

But, the people of the thirteen tribe knows that the stories are not just mere stories. Magic is abundant and mysteries is all around them

This is the New World, where all kinds of impossible things could happen. No one knows it better than the people of the Thirteen Tribe

So, they believe in the story and they were prepared for it. And not before long, the sun truly shows itself and the cold dissipated like it was a dream

But the impact has already been felt. The Great Battle is approaching. 

Those old people of the tribes all try to deduce the candidate of Asrana.

Thus, the coldest night since thousands of years passed with the warm breezy morning. 

At the same time, that the sun shows its face, Arial opens his eyes and he got up from his bed.

He was a little tired last night and sleep very peacefully after going to Ana room. 

He of course did not spend his night there. Who knows what rumors that would arise if he sleeps there?

Coming out of the bath he wears normal clothes but it was still majestic, wearing colorful cloth of red tight inner wear and black outerwear. 

The clothe is not too loose but not too tight as he looks elegant in it.

And the charisma that he exuded made him appear like he is wearing an armor of war.

Today, is the beginning of his first step to open the Ancient gate. Arial did not question, did not doubt. He had no purpose and now he had one.

Whether Amara is someone he should trust or not, it did not matter to him. Because all he needs now is a purpose.

And redemption is as good as any purpose there is. 

Arial was very cognizant of his current situation. He is in a foreign land with foreign soldiers.

If not for the fact that he had lead them to victory after victory and that those who decided to follow him was loyal to him, it would not be this easy for him to raise and army and fight for the worldjosei

He walks across the wings to go to the main hall. Behind him, his Councilor Arun follows him. Arial did not walk too fast and he did not walk to slow.

Councilor Arun is a middle age man with neatly trimmed bear and curly hair. 

But unlike the child of the slums who had messy curly hair, Arun curly hair is very neat and one look at him and one would feel very pleasant

His body is lean but packed with tight muscle. It is clear even though Arun is a middle age man and occupied an official position, he is not a stranger to battle

There are even a few scars that could be seen

As Arial walk around the palace, he thought about the general direction his army should take. 

He of course need to consolidate his power in the nearby region as fast as possible

He is anxious. 

But he also knows that rushing would only open himself up to mistake. The foundation that he had just created is not yet truly stable and entrenched yet

While he had won because of his tactics, this is only one state among many. And the humans are not the only threat to his army

Monsters does exist. 

And they could attack the city. Mystical things would appear and old Gods might even make an appearance

Of course, the tribes believe that when they enter the Shadowlands, the power of their Gods lessened. That unless the Gods wanted to truly look at someone, only then he could be seen by the gods since this is a land far from the Land of the Gods

Of course this did not actually refer to distance. Like most of the explanation about the Gods, it is in the lore.

It is said the Shadowlands is blessed and as such, the Gods could not see clearly and meddle wantonly. 

This has something to do with the fact that the Gods under the Heavenly Will is guilty. As for why, one must have a deep knowledge of the lore to answer these question.

At least according to the Thirteen tribes, their gods reach did not extend to inside the Shadowland. 

As such, other than the title of Shadowlands, the area that has been inhabited by the three great tribes since a thousand years ago also had another name.

The other name is the Godless Land. 

But for outsiders and outlanders, unless they were being told about it, they all think that the area of the Shadowlands and the New World are the same

Shadowlands are on the East. 

The other area is all part one would call Novus Gaia. And there is a misconception about something that might be related to the name of the land

This land might be called the New World, but this land is actually very old. The reason why it is called the New World is simply because it is new to other people.

And the fact that it possesses the kind of life that could not be found in any other continent, akin of a New World

The people living here for example had many names for the land that they have been stepping on for thousands of years.

Bhumi is one of the example. 

Dunya is another. 

But when Outlanders first came here they called it the Novus Gaia and the name stuck. 

Among their tribes, they called the land by their terms. When they spoke with Outlanders they would call it Novus Gaia.

This is the place were Old Gods still roam, where myths and legends of the mystical realm is not merely a fairy tale

Old Magic is strong here. 

Before, Arial did not feel it. But after he awakened to magic, he could feel the magical power around him and the feeling is very addicting.

There were many things he needs to settle today. 

Beside him, Arun began relaying to him the news for today and all the information related to the movement of people around the border that he had set.

Most of them is information that other people could hear. But it is not like Arun raise his voice so that everyone could hear. 

And most people would know to try not to listen.

As for the secret ones, that kind of secret would only be revealed in a secret report and would not be talk about in the open space
