Ban did not check the Item yet as he felt that something had changed on his body. He looked around looking for anything that could provide him any reflection so that he could observe his body to no avail.
Ban then recalled that he brought a mirror before after knowing that the Daily Mission's rewards involved changing his body's strength, stamina and endurance, resulting in his muscles to either expand or condense.
Ban was sixteen years old with a good body form not befitting of someone his age. It was due to the training with his gramps, and was further enhanced after a few days of completing the Daily Missions.
Before he accessed his Dimensional Storage Earring though, Ban tried accessing the Dimensional Storage Ring provided by Kuys first to check if he also bothered to put a mirror there.
However, Ban could not only shake his head a while later as he was somehow overthinking things. Mirror's are not necessary for any journey as Kuys would surely not expect him to look at his reflection every now and then.
Anyways, Ban no longer thought about it as he accessed his Earring before taking out the human-size mirror.
After storing all of his items inside the earring, he looked at himself in the mirror to observe the changes that had been made earlier.
At first glance, Ban really did not notice any difference. It was only a while later when he observed long enough that he noticed the changes.
From what he could observe, it seems like has grown an inch taller compared to before. His arms and shoulders, although still muscular, were not as broad as before. His chest had also become smaller but became more refined along with his eight protruding abdominal muscles.
When he turned around and rolled his pants, he also noticed that his legs became sharper. They looked as if they were sculpted perfectly by a grandmaster sculpture.
Ban nodded at his slight transformation. Although he quite liked his broad shoulders from before, he also understood that in order to achieve great things, one should also sacrifice a little in return.
To attain the perfect body, a little sacrifice on his shoulder and muscle should be enough.
After shamelessly admiring his body for a few minutes, Ban finally kept the mirror as he rested for a bit.
He had already scoured the whole flat area atop the small mountain earlier while running and he did not find anything aside from the trees and some bones here and there. Ban was not surprised as the Orc Lizard was a territorial Beasts, not allowing even the smallest insect to live on its domain.
After resting for a bit and fully recovering the stamina he lost from running, Ban finally equipped himself with overpowered items again, in addition to the new one he acquired earlier, called the Mantis Gloves.
As expected by Ban, it was yet another insect related item.
He equipped them one by one from the Ant Mask, the Noble Moth Cloak, the Dark Beetle Chest Armor, the Tiger Beetle Rapid Shoes, and finally, the newly gained Item, the Mantis Gloves.
The Mantis Gloves was a green colored thin glove with its palm section entirely red.
Just like the Items before it, the gloves also have an option of being indestructible on his current realm, and the realm after it. The gloves also had another effect was the increase in strength, and grip power.
Although the effect was there, Ban could barely feel the change, as just like the Tiger Beetle Rapid Shoes that was supposed to increase his running speed, but contrary to his expectation, the increase was so minimal that it could be neglected. So he expects the same result for the Mantis Gloves.
In the end, the only useful thing about them was the indestructible part. Compared to the Noble Moth Cloak and the Ant Mask, the recent items he received were truly lacking.
Ban also took out his two weapons again this time and placed them on his sides. They don't have any specific storage but the dagger came with a scabbard so he just tied the scabbard beside him while the Twin Baton was inserted on the rope tied to his hips.
After he was done, Ban got curious about his look again so he summoned the mirror to see what he looks like.
After reading those books, Ban's aesthetic was of course renewed or more precisely awakened. Unlike before where he did not care about his looks, the Ban today was a different case.
Upon seeing him get up, Ban could not help but have the urge to take them off all at once with the exemption of the Ant Mask and the Noble Moth Cloak.
Even for Ban's newfound aesthetic knowledge, he could still tell that his current get up was quite… chaotic.
The gloves were green with its palm area red, the shoes were also green with black dot patterns, the dark beetle armor was well, dark and a little bit of yellow strokes, and combined with the maroon Ant Mask and the white Noble Moth Cloak with some black dot patterns as well. There was also the dagger and the twin baton as well.
'I actually looked like a walking rainbow?'
He was lacking some color, but his get up was truly akin to a rainbow right now.
Ban wanted to take them off, but after thinking of their various effects, he could only grit his teeth as he allowed them to latch into his body for now.
Fortunately, he was alone on this Death Swamp, and on the off chance that he encountered someone, he would surely avoid them at all cost, lest they laughed at him for his get up. Of course, laughing at him might lead to some consequences, so those fellows who were also at the Death Swamp at the moment better pray that they won't meet him.
He swore that if he ever got the same type of reward from the System, he would surely opt for something that has a better color scheme than his current get up. But for now, he could only endure his walking rainbow attire.
He could only sigh as he checked his status profile. After confirming that the cooldown of the Skills he used earlier has already ended, he finally summoned Tria again and ordered her to transform into her giant form.
Ban rode her back immediately, and without wasting any more time, he ordered her to fly towards their next target location.
