Another Stupid Isekai

Chapter 398

Chapter 398

I woke up, and the first thing I did was to get some food. I ate pizza sitting on the ground next to The Tree and just watching the gates in front of me. Through the portals I saw all those strange worlds and thought about all the ghosts sitting there, waiting to be hunted by me.

I washed the food with coke and then started shopping for upgrades by getting on my feet and putting my hand on the levitating ball. I browsed for a few moments through my classes and decided to first buy 'Overcharger' for a thousand class points.

This gave me access to the following skills: 'Amplified mana regeneration III', 'Mana pool III', 'Raw mana control III', 'Raw mana manipulation III', 'Mana overcharge I', 'Mana pool overcharge'.

'Mana pool overcharge' allowed me to attempt to go past the limits of my mana by overcharging it, which would lead to the excessive energy to be released around me in potentially dangerous to the environment in my vicinity way, depending on the amount of mana. In this process, I could slowly increase the ability of my body to store that type of energy.

It seemed very useful. I started by upgrading all of those skills to the sixth level. This gave me access to unbelievable amounts of mana. If I really put my mind into it and had enough time, I could cause an explosion similar to a nuclear one.

This led me to think more of my defensive options. I didn't have anything good though, so instead, I took 'Prince of shadows' for another thousand class points.

This gave me access to the following skills: 'Void essence III', 'Shadow summoning III', 'Void authority III', 'Shadow shape II', 'Shadow mark II', 'Conjure The Void', 'Shadow skin'.

? With 'Shadow summoning III' my ability to pull the stronger malicious thought from the void increased, and those were capable of maintaining even bigger, tougher bodies than the champions. I called them Shadow fiends. They came in the form of hippopotamus-sized creatures with big heads, armed with ram-like horns, and large jaws filled with sharp teeth. They had hoofs in their back legs, but front ones were more similar to arms. They walked like gorillas would, and also had spikes on their backs.

Not to mention that I could summon over 131 thousand of the shadows. Yes, a whole fucking army. It was a bit less with shadow champions. Around a tenth of that, and with Shadow fiends around one-hundredth of what I could do with the champions. Still impressive though.

'Conjure The Void' allowed me to summon the literal thing in a small, spheric shape. No more than three meters in diameter, that would eat a piece of reality I would summon it on. If I summoned it on a person, the person would get consumed by The Void. If on a tree, the part of it, would also get eaten. Simple, but effective.

'Shadow skin' was a more utility thing. I could turn myself partially into a creature from the void. It was not working like shadow fusion, but I could turn for example in a crow made out of void essence and fly. If the thing got hit heavily enough, I would get back to my normal form. I could also add parts made out of void essence to my body, like wings to fly.

I ended up upgrading all of those skills to the sixth level, except the 'Void essence III', which I bought out fully.

I tested the 'Shadow skin' immediately, flying throughout the air in a form of a small bird. Admiring the empty city, the jade buildings illuminated by the silver light.

After my return from the short flight, I got an idea. I didn't have any good defensive classed, but I still could go for the 'Hierophant' and just heal the damage. My wounds basically didn't matter as long as I had adrenaline circulating through my body thanks to the Armored Dreadnought's 'Relentless' skill.

I bought it for hundred points. This gave me access to the following skills: 'Heal III', 'Cleansing III', 'Life energy III', 'Minor regeneration II', 'Blessing of Vitality', 'Blessing of Power', 'Healing aura'.

'Heal III' made my heals strong enough to restore whole limbs.

'Blessing of Vitality' was increasing a person's endurance depending on how much energy I put into the spell. Sadly it was not mana, so my resources were quite limited.

'Blessing of Power' was the same thing, just with strength.

'Healing aura' on the other hand was totally different. It was giving people around me the benefits of 'Minor regeneration', just because they were there, but the best part was it didn't consume anything.

It all was so awesome that I straight away fully upgraded the class, pushing the skills to eighth levels. This unlocked me 'Grand Hierophant', which I immediately also bought for thousand points.

This gave me access to the following skills: 'Heal IV', 'Cleansing IV', 'Life energy IV', 'Minor regeneration III', 'Blessing of Vitality II', 'Blessing of Power II', 'Healing aura II', 'Renewal', 'Last stand'

'Renewal' was basically restoring the body to its perfect condition. Getting rid of every desire, malfunctioning body organs, or other problems like missing limbs. If you didn't have a leg, the spell would restore it. If you had one lung missing, it would grow back. If you had cancer, it would get fixed. There was a small downside, though. If you had for example pacemaker in your body, it would be painfully ejected in the process, by breaking your own ribcage and pushing through flesh, which could kill you.

'Last stand' was another supporting spell. It was basically giving benefits of Armored Dreadnought's 'Relentless' skill to others, allowing them to fight despite wounds, as long as they were alive.

I pushed all the skills to the eighth level and then did some testing. When I was done I got myself new clothes. I still had plenty of points, but I was unsure to where put them, so I decided to sleep on it and decide in the morning. I went to the building I was occupying to take a shower and write a bit in my notebook.

Another day in Loistavadvaar came to an end with 207 935 359 060 regular points and 858 class ones.
