Another Stupid Isekai

Chapter 476

Chapter 476

- How about we invite ourselves to Boris's place, with some pizza? - I proposed. - We need to wait to catch Ki'rai anyway since she probably is hunting right now. You could also do your homework in the meantime?

- Ok - she agreed. - We can go and look for her later after the gunters will return.

We had few hours until that time, so there was no need to rush. Passing by the city center I got few boxes of hot pizza, a bag of burgers and fries from a certain chain of restaurants, and a freaking six-pack of coke bottles. I put it all into my vault, and we headed to Irina's house.

- You think you will be able to convince KI'rai? - Tihana suddenly asked. - After all, it's a boring talk show. She wouldn't mind it was an MMA fight or something, but sitting on the couch, and talking?

- To be honest, I have no idea, but she needs to show herself to people. I want to show her the Earth and try different things. She lives music and dancing, so you never know.

- Yeah, but that's movement. It's different.

I sighed.

- I don't know what to tell you. We will have to figure something out. Maybe she can appear only in a part of it? I don't know... But we have to convince her. Xuzards should start mixing with earthlings if it's going to work.

- They could stay here.

I sighed. She didn't know that most of them were very young and had heads filled with fake memories. I didn't want to tell her that and explain my strange relationship with The Great One. I wanted to protect her from that mess.

- At some point some of them might want to leave this place. It's better if people are more accustomed to them. They need to know a thing or two about them. We should at least try to build a good image, so they will be welcomed.

- Ok, but let's think about it later, if she agrees. Right now I need to finish my homework and eat. I'm so hungry, and this food smells amazing.

- Oh, yes, it does.

It really, really did. Especially because all I had throughout the day was breakfast and a cup of coffee. We increased our pace and shortly arrived at Irina's house. She welcomed us with open hands since we brought plenty of food with us.

Boris wasn't home, since he left the city to camp close to some hunting ground with most of his men to bring home plenty of crystals. Mainly to exchange them for cash, since he really wanted to become rich. I couldn't blame him. It's awesome to have a number with six zeros on your bank account.

We talked a bit while eating. Tihana, on the other hand, took some food, and left us, to focus on the homework. She returned after around an hour and then started playing with Vitalij, to give his mother a breather.

We talked a bit about my new house to be in Dwarka, and also about Irina's plans to build something in Russia, so they could visit their motherland comfortably. Then also a bit about education, since her kid was slowly getting old enough for this.

Eventually, the topic switched to Ki'rai, mainly because I wanted her to give me advice about how should I approach this. Unfortunately for me, she didn't have much to give, since she didn't know Ki'rai very well.

- We should go - said Tihana at some point, as she came to the table we were sitting by, with the kid in her hands.

- Yea, you are right - I agreed and stood up.

Irina followed me and took her son from my daughter's hands. Then the teenager for a moment ran away, surprising me a bit.

- Where did she go? - I asked Boris's wife.

She shrugged her shoulders. Tihana returned shortly after that with Tam in his hands, and everything became clear.

- He needs a bit of air. He can't stay indoors all day - she pointed out.

After that, we left. I just shadow walked us to the city center. There was a bit of hunter already gathered there, but not too much since it was still early for them, so the two of us hanged around a little bit, until the xuzards finally showed up, led by Ki'rai.

I approached them with Tihana after they were done dividing and selling their score for the day.

- Hi guys! - I said.

- Hi - said, my daughter.

They all welcomed us. Some with words, other just by waving their hands. It was a fun bunch. A little smaller than it used to be, because of some of them going to school, but still.

- Can we talk? - I asked looking at Ki'rai, and she nodded.

Then she told the rest of her crew, to go ahead without her. It was obvious that they will be heading to Velvet Lotus for a party.

- Something happened? - asked KI'rai.

- Yes. I've been invited to go and appear on a talk show with one of the researchers, Tihana, and you. So I came to ask if you will go.

- What's a talk show? You talk and show? - she asked, turning her head a bit to the side.

Tihana snorted and got all red on the face.

- No. You just talk. There will be a person asking questions, and we will be answering them. Like for example how does your day here look like? Or maybe, is it difficult being a hunter?

- Being a hunter is the best! - she said firmly.

- But what's the best about it. You need to describe what you like, and what you don't like. That's why it's called a talk show because you talk. A lot.

- I don't like talking a lot -she said.

I sighed.

- Come one, it will be fun! - said Tihana. - Just say yes, and we will go on a trip to Earth!

- Earth? Ok, ill go.

I was taken aback by how easy it went.

- Really? - I asked.

- Yes - she replied. - I want to see the Earth.

- Ok... Then I'll let you know when we will have a date.

Ki'rai nodded firmly, and just walked away. I watched her vanishing between the buildings.

- I didn't expect her to agree to this so easily - I said.

- She wants to see your planet, paps. It's gonna be so fun! - Tihana jumped, annoying Tam.

- Bawk! - he scolded her.

- Sorry... - she said, reflecting on herself.

I brought Tihana back to Irina, and then finally returned home. A bit tired with all the stuff going with the construction, and other meetings.

The day came to an end with 24 360 260 points remaining on my account, and 21 class points.
