"What the fudge are you going to do?" Grayson said in an irritated voice. "Why is he here? Did you call him? This is just great my BESTFRIEND FINALLY GETS OVER HER STUPID ASS FIRST LOVE THEN HE DECIDES TO POP OUT OF NO WHERE JUST GREAT." He yelled a little louder for my own liking so I immediately hit him on his left arm.

"Ow- that fucking hurts." He said in a hurt but amused tone.

"Gray, calm down first of all he is their father and hell no I didn't call him. He is here for them, it's their birthday and I don't think you and I or anyone should have a problem with that." I explained calmly.

"Did you see the way he was looking at you? that sexy devil-" i immediately stopped him from talking. Gray had the epitome of jumping into conclusions even if it wasn't necessary.

"We need to get back down stairs." I gave him an assuring smile.

"Okay but I'm watching him." He let out a sigh and I hugged him because I knew, he cared so much about me that's why he was acting like this. He was venting everything on my behalf.

Grayson left first leaving me alone in my huge bedroom with my thoughts. I went to the balcony looking at Ashton and Ashley playing innocently listening to what their father was saying to them. He had even removed his blazer leaving him and his bulky muscles in a white dress shirt. He looked so different but good type of different even the way he was talking to the kids or the way he glanced up at me. What what why is he looking at me? I immediately shut the glass door of the balcony. He gave me warming

smile then turned back to whatsoever the kids were telling him. His green eyes fluttered back to me and I looked away letting out a shaky breath, I didn't know I was holding.

I made my way downstairs where Tim, Cathy, Gray and Angelo were. The kids were sitted opening their party packs and the cake had been already given out.

"Uhm i don't think we have been introduced..?" Tim said to Angelo who turned to me for help. Grayson rolled his eyes as he took a sip of his wine, i told him no alcohol. He knows how he acts even with just two glasses of wine, he gets tipsy and runs his mouth..

"Uh Tim this is Angelo my- i mean the twins father, Angelo this is Tim, Grayson's boyfriend." I explained leaving Angelo aghast.

"Nice to meet you too, man." Tim said swiftly making Grayson scoff.

"Oh and that's Cathy a good friend of mine." I added trying to remove the attention away from Grayson and Tim.

"Nice to meet you Cathy." Angelo said politely. Cathy returned the gesture.

"No offence but since when are you-" Angelo asked in a confused tone. I honestly didn't know what to say because now I would look like a liar.

"Look here, i always was gay and I'm proud of it. I was just being an awesome friend by protecting her from vultures who wanted to get in her panties then go back to their fianc??e so I pretended to be her boyfriend." Grayson took another sip of his white wine as he rolled his eyes.

"Uhm anyways we should start preparing for the dinner?" I turned to Cathy. It was almost four pm and the kids parents were coming to pick them up. It had been a great day for the kids, the twins clearly had an epic one. As for me it was just awkward and a huge dilemma.

"We should." Cathy agreed with me. Tim and Gray walked away, it seems Gray was explaining just a little more to his boyfriend as he nodded in understanding. Cathy quickly disappeared as well saying she was going to get started with the dinner.

"Uhm, we usually have dinner right after their party with just close family- do you want to stay?" I asked stammering a bit.

"Yeah sure, the more time I can get to spend with the kids right?" He said his eyes looking for mine but I looked away suddenly the floor looked more interesting right now.

"Uhm yes, let me just go help Cathy." I murmured.

"Raina, you do know we still need to talk." He said making me shiver with every whisper, he was a little too close for my liking.

"I thought we were okay." I whispered back.

"I'm just-" He was interrupted by the twins running towards us.

"Mommy, Daddy I'm so happy you are both here together then we can be a family." Ashley said hugging her father while Ashton nodded.

"Yes Angel, that's what I plan on doing..." He gave her kiss on her temple making her giggle, it was such a beautiful site, it made me want to melt but no. What did he mean by that? Angelo and I were two people who were never suppose to cross each other's path on this earth but we both went against fate and now we are still being punished for it.

He needed to move on. That was the only thought I had on my mind. He had never looked at me the way he did now it's as if, he saw me as something precious but I wasn't. Angelo and I just needed to

maintain our co-parenting relationship. I swiftly walked away to the kitchen helping Cathy with the dinner.
