Back For My Daughter

Chapter 1073 Genetic Laboratory Chief Scientist!

Chapter 1073 Genetic Laboratory Chief Scientist!

In one of the top laboratories which mainly focused on genetic research and enhancement of the human body.

More than about 20 scientists stood with dumbfounded looks as they all stared in the direction of the laboratory which was occupied just a few days ago.

Normally, there would be at least a few scientists and researchers trying to perform various kinds of tests on every present organism in order to obtain the various kinds of results which they would yield under different predicaments.

But this time, none of them was doing anything that they would usually do, but rather staring at a big screen which was present on the wall in front of them.

Meanwhile, a middle-aged man rushed in while gasping for air as he panted heavily with his face flushed.

It looked as if he had almost lost his breath wanting to rush here.

"What happened, you called me in such urgency, did anything happen to the new specimen?"

The middle-aged man asked while still gasping for air.

While the middle-aged man asked, a young man who was holding a tablet in his palm walked to him and reported.

"Professor, the specimen which we derived a few days ago showed some really peculiar changes just a few moments ago, and I was not able to understand anything about it and knowing that professor Zhang had been so careful about this new specimen to be one of it's kind, I didn't dare to waste any more of the time and called you right away."

Saying that the young scientist passed the tablet to professor Zhang whose face was flushed as he stared at the huge screen which showed a patch completely filled with dark cellular structures.

"You mean to say that right now they are acting normal, but when you called me, it was something different?"

The middle-aged man named Professor Zhang who was also the chief scientist of this Genetic laboratory asked as he shuffled through all the data that was provided within the tablet, not daring to let go of any of the minute details.

A woman wearing spectacles walked towards Professor Zhang and pointed out at the few cellular structures which were on the screen which showed some obvious peculiar changes.

"Yes professor, in fact, the cells started to act normally just a moment ago, but before they appeared as if they were in a state of constant wear and tear as if they were in great torment."

The words of the woman caused professor Zhang to have his brows almost raised to a height till his hairline.

He quickly took a look at the corner where the woman was pointing her finger towards while squinting his eyes.

The moment he saw the scene, a deep frown appeared on his wrinkled face.

Although this professor Zhang was not much older, but given the wrinkles on his face, it would be hard for one to exactly gauge his age.

But most would think that he was a man in his mid-60s.

As he looked carefully at the end of the cluster of cells that the young woman was pointing her finger, Professor Zhang could see that although the cells looked completely normal, but they had lost every aspect of their life and didn't show any kind of normal reaction which a normal living cell would exhibit.

In fact, if one were to look at them for the first time, then they would not find any kind of difference between this tiny cluster of cells which had suddenly turned immobile and the few which were still alive, but Professor Zhang was someone who had experimented with these cells for a few days already.

And there was just one word which appeared in his mind every time he performed a special experiment with any of these cells.

It was because, no matter what kind of harsh situation they were faced with, the cells would not even show any kind of repulsive action wanting to keep themselves alive from the harsh condition, much less being dead after being forced to face some condition which would turn any normal cell into a completely dead one.

They had already found that although these cells were similar to a kind of blood, but each and every one of the cells would act like a completely different entity and would not need any kind of help in order to continue living.

In fact, what had shocked them, even more, was the fact that although none of these cells were placed in a nutrient medium, none of them had shown any kind of weakness that a normal organism would show if it was not given the essential food for its growth and other activities.

Rather, they would even be completely fine even after facing extreme temperatures which even the most resistant organism would have a hard time surviving.

No matter if it was high temperature enough to burn any living organism known to humans or the freezing frosty absolute zero, nothing would have any kind of impact on the cells at all.

In fact, Professor Zhang even used some electrical current in order to test his numerous theories but he was also wary about it, but he was definitely shocked by the results, as they were something that he had never imagined to even experience in his life.

Neither extreme heat, nor extreme cold, and neither would a high voltage electric current would cause any kind of discomfort to these weird cells which they had accidentally stumbled upon by chance, much less having any kind of rupture of these cells leading to the death of a few.

But right now, the cells which he had theorized as indestructible with his various kinds of experiments, now lay completely immobile just like any dead cell.

One had to know that these cells had been extracted by them for more than a few days already, but unlike any normal cell they didn't show any signs of death after being away from the OROGIN body to which they truly belonged to, so they had already confirmed that it was almost impossible for it to die all of a sudden.

And even if that were to happen, the same thing should have happened to almost all the cells present.
