“Give in? Except for Myers, no one else can make me give in!” Ismail laughed maniacally. The black robe he wore began to expand aggressively before letting out a ripping sound. The countless pieces of black fabric floated into the air before transforming into two-yard long zombies that dashed towards Eleanor.

Ismail was still afraid of Eleanor’s Life Arrow. This was a skill that required the exchange of life. A creature with a soul would not be able to dodge it. If his abilities were at least two ranks above Eleanor, he would not have feared such an attack. Now he was only one rank above Eleanor. A difference of three grades was not enough for him to ignore such a devastating skill.

To Ismail, if he was hit by Eleanor’s arrow, there was no way he could escape from Saleen’s attack. There was also no way he could survive Saleen’s attack, even if he was at his strongest.

The gigantic eye behind Ismail became more and more blurry, before finally disappearing into thin air. His right hand had also vanished along with the Eye.

The zombies that were created from Ismail’s black robe fell from the air. What he did not know was that Eleanor was only trying to give him a scare by taking out her bow. In order to launch an arrow, not only did it require Eleanor’s lineage, grade, and skill, she also needed suitable materials. Saleen did not manage to refine more arrows for her. Her Elf Bow would not be able to shoot any Crystal Arrows or Life Arrows.

“Bain, do you think Saleen will be alright?” Lex watched the battle from afar and asked worriedly.

“Saleen has always been someone who was afraid of dying. If he was not confident, he would have asked you for help.” Bain’s reply put Lex’s mind slightly at ease.

All of a sudden, a skeleton that was eight-yards tall appeared in front of Sika. This skeleton was what she obtained from Raphael’s magic tower. Since then, the skeleton had changed in size, its shape was more well-proportioned and its bones were covered with countless black runes.

Sika stood on the skeleton and was quietly chanting. Lex felt her hair stand up due to coldness. With Sika as the source, the invisible Mental Storm created a long spear that shot towards the airborne Ismail.

In the past, the impact released by the skeleton almost took the lives of everyone. By now, Sika clearly had a better control over part of the energy that the skeleton possessed. Although she was not fully proficient in using the Mental Assault, she could not fly yet either. With such a long distance between Ismail and her, she would have to make do using the Mental Storm as her choice of attack.

Jola and Su were protecting Eleanor and fighting with the zombies. The zombies were Ismail’s last resort, so all of them were formidable with bodies as hard as steel. They had nails that were half a foot long and mouths that spit poisonous gas.

Jola and Su wielded their sword aura confidently and did not fear the poisonous gas. Eleanor did not seem too concerned with the poisonous gas as either as she added defense magic on the two Silver Grand swordmasters. She also wore an Ice Plate armor and began to attack with magic.

There were tens of zombies surrounding the three of them, but not all of them could attack at once. More than ten of the zombies that were unable to attack began to surround the demons instead. Close combat was not Tolesi’s strength, so he quickly escaped. He would not be able to join in the fight for this battle. Aiwa’s shield had been destroyed by Ismail, but he was still left with the Meteor Hammer. The moment he began to wield the Meteor Hammer, zombies within ten yards from him began to scream.

Once the Meteor Hammer hit a zombie, its body shrank into a small piece, unable to recover for half a day. This was only the effect of the Hammer making slight contact with the body. If the zombies were hit straight-on, one would hear the breaking of their bones.

Luola’s Horse-killing sword was having difficulties with the zombies as their limbs were as hard as steel. Aiwa’s big sword was unable to cut through either, but his skills were exceptional and was able to attack and retreat freely, even when surrounded by many zombies.

Saleen pretended to get ready to attack Ismail. He managed to catch Ismail’s attention, allowing Sika’s Mental Storm to strike his head.

Ismail fell from the sky as his hand held his forehead. Saleen accurately released his ice attack and six ice elements combined together in the air and froze Ismail.

If Ismail still possessed his Element Gun, he would have been able to burst through a grade-10 Icy Light Spear, much less an ice attack.

Even the Goddess of Myers would not have been able to go against the rules of this dimension. A little trap in Saleen’s contract was enough to take away Ismail’s most powerful ability.

Ismail was trapped by ice. He wriggled his body and the huge ice pieces began to crack. This attack had caused him to lose his ability to fly.

Saleen was unusually decisive this time. When he sent Nailisi to look for Ismail, he already decided that the six-legged flying dragon needed to be eliminated. Without the six-legged flying dragon, Ismail’s flying ability was not outstanding. Now that Sika’s Mental Storm had struck Ismail down from the sky, the situation was stable and within control.

Sika continued to stay at the back and was still chanting a mantra. Ismail felt unbearable pain in his head and was not able to gather enough focus to use any skills.

Whip!

Cuisi’s whip was sixteen yards long and was filled with sharp spikes, with a hook at the tip. The whip struck Ismail’s face and pulled off a huge chunk of flesh. This injury was even more severe and the essence that he had accumulated fastidiously spilled out.

Lex and her onlookers could not help but feel pain. They imagined that if the whip landed on themselves, surely they would have lost all will to fight? The flesh on Ismail’s face had been torn away, revealing the bones within.

Nailisi was already dashing towards Ismail with her fist raised. Her fist was flowing with electric current and with one punch, Ismail was forced to bend over by the impact.

Although the Ultimate Shapeshifting skill did not weaken Ismail’s physical body, when Nailisi delivered the punch, she immediately figured out Ismail’s body structure and sent the electric current directly to his weakest spot.

Nailisi raised her leg and delivered a knee into Ismail’s face that was already a bloody mess. Her knee also released electric current. Nailisi was able to transfer her ability to use electricity as protection into her combat moves. Not only did this save energy, the effect was also less detectable.

Nailisi’s expression was cruel. Everyone heard the breaking of Ismail’s bones, but Nailisi had no sympathy. She turned to Ismail’s side and used her arms to clamp onto his right arm. She gave it a hard twist.

Ismail’s elbow immediately turned and was torn from the shoulder. Then, Nailisi turned to Ismail’s back and pierced the Dragon’s Tooth Dagger into his heart. His back froze instantaneously.

Ismail tried to use his left leg to kick backwards at Nailisi. Cuisi used his whip to curl around Ismail’s calf and gave it a hard tug. Immediately, Ismail’s calf was now left with exposed white bone.

Nailisi stomped her foot furiously on Ismail’s thigh bone. Nailisi’s close combat skills were developed partly due to her own talent, but also because she learned them from Jola. Ismail was still numbed by Nailisi’s electric current, while being punched by her like a sandbag.

At this moment, Saleen could not interfere at all. The purgatory dweller was sandwiched in between Nailisi and Cuisi and was being heavily tortured.

“God!” Ismail roared, wanting to summon the strength of the King of Hades. His Eye of Hades had vanished and the King of Hades was in the purgatory dimension. There was no way he could come to the aid of this Myers Mainland subordinate of his. Ismail’s cries only succeeded in inviting even more of Nailisi’s cruel attacks.

Nailisi clearly did not intend to kill Ismail. In fact, even if she did, she still needed to rely on Saleen to do so. It would be difficult to completely destroy Ismail otherwise.

Ismail was lying on the floor from Nailisi’s barrage of kicks, while Cuisi’s whip continued to be relentless. Ismail’s body appeared full of bones and there was hardly any complete piece of skin to be found.

Nailisi could not be further apart from her image as a lady as she kicked at Ismail’s face furiously with her boots. If it were others, kicking Ismail’s face might have broken their legs. Nailisi’s legs were covered with electric current, resulting in Ismail’s inability to retaliate.

Seeing Nailisi’s crazed behaviour, even Lex broke into cold sweat. “So this is a demon’s true colors. She might be cheerful and bubbly most of the time, but this is how cruel she can be when it comes down to a fight.”

Saleen landed on the ground and stood in front of Ismail ungentlemanly and asked, “Do you give in?”

“No way, you piece of-”

Bam!

Nailisi gave Ismail’s forehead such a hard kick that it bent backwards as if the neck had been broken. She did not stop hitting Ismail because she knew that there was a chance that he might retaliate the moment she stopped. Even after such a violent bout of punches and kicks, Ismail only broke a few bones, and those bones that had been severely injured were already healing very quickly.

If Nailisi did not have the ability to protect her body with electricity, just based on combat skills, she would have died from the impact of striking Ismail.

Saleen could not believe how tough and resilient Ismail was. If not for the fact that he hated the Holy See, he might even have considered giving him to the Lord of Glory. “I might not be able to subdue you, but the people from the Holy See can definitely do it.”

“How pathetic. You have two faiths, but neither of them can save you,” Saleen taunted Ismail, hoping to expose a weakness in his heart.

“The King of Hades will not forgive you.” Ismail tried to keep his eyes opened and stared at Saleen.

“The King of Hades? Ha, let’s see if he can even come to Myers Mainland. Now you are in my hands. If you choose not to surrender…”

Pooh!

Ismail bit off his own tongue and spit it out. The section of tongue was wriggling as if it was alive and flew towards Saleen. Saleen’s Icy Sight was extremely sharp. He could see that the tip of the tongue contained a smaller mouth that was full of piercing teeth. If he was struck by the tongue, it would surely result in a huge gaping wound.

Saleen used his Water Shield as a barrier and Ismail’s tongue was unable to penetrate through Saleen’s strongest defense magic. Saleen’s expression changed. His left hand was glowing with white light as he grabbed the tongue and pinched it with force.

With such a pinch, the Goddess’ Power of Life was activated. Ismail’s tongue burst into a ball of bloody mist while Ismail violently rose from the ground. All the holes in his body were spilling blood and even his eyeballs were ejected from the eye sockets.

“King of Hades!” These words came out from his throat. Saleen did not understand how Ismail could still speak without a tongue.

uddenly, a stream of black light shot out of Ismail’s forehead and struck Saleen in the face. Saleen was taken by surprise and frantically used his left hand to wipe his face, only to realize that there was nothing to wipe. The black light had been absorbed into his skin and had left a faint mark on Saleen’s forehead.
