129 A Diversion
“Are you sure?” Shen Fei looked at Qian Yu worriedly.
‘That exotic beast is very strong. If he’s not careful, he could lose his life.’
“Don’t worry.” Qian Yu pretended to be relaxed as he spoke to Shen Fei. “No matter what, I’m still a Dragon Tamer. I can still handle that thing.”
“Alright,” Shen Fei said, nodding his head hesitantly.
‘Since Qian Yu suggested this, he must have his own reasons.’
!!
“Shen Fei, hold on tight. When you return to camp, bring the news to the others as soon as possible and ask them to come and help.”
After saying that, the Elemental Tyrannosaurus increased its speed and sped toward the camp.
“Shen Fei, do you see the big clock at the entrance of the camp?”
“Yes.” Shen Fei carefully grabbed the reins and stood up from the back of the Elemental Tyrannosaurus. “Go ring the bell and wake everyone up. I’ll hold him back! Elemental Tyrannosaurus, attack!”
Qian Yu shouted, and the Elemental Tyrannosaurus fiercely swung its tail and threw Shen Fei directly toward the large bell.
“Roar!”
The moment Shen Fei flew up, the Three-clawed Golden Dragon flew out from the pocket realm, and steadily went under Shen Fei.
“Let’s go!”
Shen Fei reached out and latched onto the Three-clawed Golden Dragon’s horn. The Beastmaster and his dragon quickly flew in the direction of the camp.
“Trying to call for help?” Seeing that the situation was not right, Lear frowned.
The black shadows that were originally pursuing Qian Yu immediately changed their direction and surrounded the large bell.
“Roar!”
The Three-clawed Golden Dragon raised its neck, opened its mouth, and a ball of dark energy suddenly zoomed toward the bell!
The shadow creatures held each other’s limbs and melted together like wax, reforming into a huge beast. The giant beast spread its six arms, looking for an opportunity, and suddenly caught the powerful energy ball in its arms.
The moment it touched the ball of dark energy, everything in its surroundings inevitably shook. The shadow creature gritted its teeth and tried its best to resist, but its body staggered under the impact of the energy ball and fell onto the large bell!
Clang! Clang! Clang!
The bell in the camp shook violently, and in an instant, the dim tents in the camp lit up one after another.
“Enemy attack, enemy attack!”
“Damn it!”
Looking at the surrounding tents, which were getting brighter and brighter, Lear had a bad feeling. His skin and flesh were melting rapidly under the lights coming from the tents.
Lear quickly covered his face which was gradually melting. He absolutely could not let these guys see his current appearance which was neither human nor ghost!
“Black Sun, let’s go. We’ll settle the score with Shen Fei and the others later!”
The Black Sun turned into a black shadow in an instant, and disappeared without a trace together with Lear. It was finally over.
Shen Fei immediately heaved a sigh of relief. He slowly landed on the ground on his Three-clawed Golden Dragon.
“What happened?” Luo Ying rushed to his side holding a torch.
“A very powerful beast was attacking us, but it just fled. We’re fine for now.” Shen Fei jumped down from his Three-clawed Golden Dragon’s back.
“I don’t know if that thing can even be called an exotic beast. It doesn’t look like any of the exotic beasts we know.”
Qian Yu clutched the wound on his chest in pain. He walked slowly with the aid of a wooden stick.
To be honest, if Shen Fei did not attract the attention of those shadows, he might not have survived tonight. Qian Yu sat on the ground, exhausted.
“Qian Yu, didn’t I tell you to rest?” Luo Ying frowned. She looked worriedly at the bandage on Qian Yu’s chest that was constantly oozing blood. “The wound on your chest hasn’t fully healed yet, and now it’s opened up again.”
Concerned, Luo Ying came to Qian Yu’s side, took out a roll of bandages, and carefully bandaged him up.
Qian Yu grabbed Luo Ying’s hand and said to her very seriously, “Don’t worry, but we need to leave this camp quickly and build a new one elsewhere in the wormhole. I have a feeling that the guy who was chasing us will come back.”
“But…” Luo Ying frowned and looked at the people around her worriedly. “Everyone is very tired tonight. You and Shen Fei should go and rest first.”
At this, Luo Ying stood up and surveyed the camp outskirts. “You guys can rest here tonight. I’ll be in charge of keeping watch.”
“Then I’ll have to trouble you.”
“This is nothing.” Luo Ying’s lips curved up slightly and she turned around resolutely. “Go rest first, everyone. We’ll start moving camp tomorrow morning.”
“Alright.” Shen Fei nodded, and turned to walk back to his tent.
…
Just as he was about to rest, the crystal that Shen Fei he kept in his chest pocket buzzed.
“Shen Fei! Shen Fei!” Aloy’s anxious voice came from the crystal. “I just heard that there was a dangerous beast on your side, are you alright?”
Shen Fei pinched the crystal in his hand. “I’m fine for now… but I have bad news. That guy, Lear, came out from the deep secret realm.”
“What?!” Upon hearing this, Aloy immediately became nervous. “Impossible! Are you sure you didn’t see it wrongly?”
Shen Fei shook his head. “He’s really out, Aloy. And he even brought that dangerous beast with him.”
Hearing this, Aloy’s side fell silent for a moment.
“…Have a good rest.” Aloy’s gaze instantly became weary. “I’ll come up with a way to deal with him later.”
“Alright,” he said.
Shen Fei nodded his head and crawled into his sleeping bag to rest.
…
On this end, Shen Fei had already fallen asleep, but Aloy could not fall asleep no matter what.
“How did this happen?” Aloy paced back and forth in her room anxiously.
‘Lear… He actually came out of the deep secret realm ahead of time.’
Everything that happened in this world seemed to be gradually deviating from the established track in her memory. Too many things had gone out of control.
Aloy heaved a long sigh. ‘Since Lear has come out of the deep secret realm, he poses a huge threat to Shen Fei!’ Aloy’s gaze turned serious. ‘I can’t wait like this anymore. In the face of these variables, the only way is to attack first!’
Aloy walked toward the wormhole decisively. She had to quickly find Shen Fei to discuss countermeasures, or deal with Lear herself!
…
“See, I told you not to go to that kind of place.”
Not long after he fell asleep, Shen Fei suddenly heard a familiar yet strange voice.
He suddenly opened his eyes and subconsciously drew a dagger—which he kept for self-defense—from his pillow and aimed it at the source of the sound.
