Chapter 282 How Can You Tolerate This?

Just then, someone walked up to Rachel’s side and pushed her aside without batting an eyelid. She stood in front of the suit, smiling demurely. She looked at the salesgirl and said again, “Please wrap this suit up for me.”

Rachel frowned slightly, and her gaze turned cold.

When Olivia saw that the person beside her was Rachel, she acted surprised.

A hint of panic appeared on her face. “Hello, Miss Grey.”

Rachel looked at Olivia’s pretense and could not help but smile mockingly. She was really a great actress.

Next to Olivia stood Jane. Restraining her jealousy, Jane snorted angrily, “What luck!”

Rachel ignored her and said coldly to the salesgirl, “Please help me wrap up the suit.”

“All right, please wait a moment,” the salesgirl said.

This was the most expensive suit in the shop. If the salesgirl managed to sell it, she would definitely be able to get a big bonus for that month’s sales.

Thinking of this, a hint of joy appeared on her face.

Olivia saw the salesgirl walk forward and hurriedly stopped her. “Wait!”

She turned to look at Rachel. “Miss Grey, I’m sorry. I want to buy this suit for Louis. Can you please let me have it? I’m willing to pay double the price…” “No,” Rachel said coldly.

Jane frowned when she saw how overbearing Rachel was. “Rachel, you’d better know what’s good for yourself.”

Rachel did not want to waste too much time with them. She turned to look at the salesgirl again. “Help me wrap this suit up, please.”

The salesgirl responded with a smile.

Unexpectedly, Jane suddenly walked up and stood in front of the salesgirl. “Are you deaf or blind? We saw this first. Why are you selling it to her?”

“I’m sorry, this lady came a little earlier than you.” The salesgirl tried to explain.

Jane sneered. “Do you know who we are? If you offend us, I’ll make you pay-

for it.”

Her words were filled with threats, causing the salesgirl’s expression to change. Panic flashed in her eyes.

Anyone who was able to shop in the Times Square was either someone rich. or powerful. The salesgirl knew that if she offended someone she should not have, she would be in deep trouble.

Just as she was at her wits‘ end, the store manager Vivian rushed over when she heard the commotion.

When she saw Olivia and Jane, she immediately gave them an ingratiating smile. “Oh, it’s Miss Cruise and Miss Smith.”

As she spoke, she winked at the salesgirl to gesture for her to leave.

After greeting Vivian, Jane immediately ordered arrogantly, “You came at the right time. Help me pack this suit.”

Vivian nodded repeatedly. “All right, please take a rest in the VIP room. I’ll send it to you after I’ve wrapped it up.”

When the store manager walked forward, Rachel grabbed her wrist and said in a cold voice, “Isn’t it always about first come, first served?”

The store manager was stunned for a moment. She then eyed Rachel up and down.

She was trying to ascertain if Rachel was worth her attention.

Seeing that Rachel was not wearing anything valuable or luxurious, she could not help but look at Rachel with disdain. “Ma’am, this suit is a limited edition. There is only one piece in Seaxas. Of course, this is a cheap piece of clothing. I’m afraid you may not be able to afford it.”

Her words were filled with mockery toward Rachel.

Rachel turned around and saw Mary standing not far away.

Mary was looking at her with a teasing gaze as if she was saying, “How can you tolerate such behavior?”
