Rachel struggled to sit up as she looked at David in a daze. “Where are you going?”
Her defined eyes looked misty and delirious as if she was a seductive demoness that looked pure and innocent.
David’s burning gaze was fixed on her. The veins on his forehead seemed to be bulging as if he was trying his best to hold himself back.
He secretly took a deep breath and said in a h**rse voice, “I have to take a
shower.”
Shower?
It wasn’t until she heard the sound of running water in the bathroom that Rachel finally understood.
Her face flushed red and she buried her head under the blanket shyly.
