Chapter 333

Rachel and David left Platinum Mansion hand in hand after dinner.

The night was perfect, and the temperature was just right. David unbuckled Rachel’s seatbelt and looked at her. “Do you want to go for a walk?”

Rachel looked at the crescent moon hanging in the night sky. Slightly tempted, she looked at David. “Can I say no?”

David smiled and pulled her into his arms.

She fell into his arms without any warning. There was a click of the seatbelt, and David’s deep and cool voice rang in her ear. “I’m afraid not.”

Under the cover of the moonlight, their shadows seemed elongated on the limestone floor as the two of them walked hand in hand together. They actually looked like a couple relying on each other for survival.

“Shall we watch a movie together tonight?” David asked suddenly.

Rachel looked at him in confusion. “Why so sudden?”

“Pursuing, confirming a relationship, dating, proposing, getting engaged, getting married.” David said, “Isn’t this the right process of love?”

Rachel was speechless.

Were they in a relationship or going through a process?

It wasn’t easy for her to feel the sweetness of being in a relationship. She hadn’t enjoyed it enough yet!

“People say that marriage is the death of love. Are you so eager to see our relationship die?” Rachel looked at him helplessly. “You don’t know how to flirt!”

David raised an eyebrow slightly. “But I don’t think marriage will be the end of our relationship, but the beginning of it!”

As he spoke, he wrapped his arm around her slender waist and pulled her into his arms. He leaned over and whispered into her ear, “People often say that the wedding night is so precious that it’s worthless.”

Rachel’s eyebrows twitched fiercely. She pushed him away with a look of disdain. and quickly walked away.

Rachel didn’t see a ball flying straight at her face without any warning.

Before Rachel could react, David was already shielding her in his arms and kicking the ball away. novelbin

“Are you alright?” David patted her head.

Rachel shook her head. “Actually, I could have handled it myself just now.”

And you say I don’t know how to flirt!” David said, “After what happened just now, shouldn’t you be crawling into my arms and telling me how scared you were?”

Rachel raised an eyebrow. “I’ll try better next time?”

At this moment, a young boy ran over, panting. “Uncle, where did you kick my ball?”

“I don’t know!” David snapped.

Seeing that the little boy was about to cry, Rachel quickly squatted down and said with a faint smile, “Over by the bushes.”

The little boy stared at Rachel with big round eyes. The blush on his face became more and more obvious. He stammered, “Miss, you’re so kind.”

Just as he was about to run away, David grabbed the back of his collar.

Looking grim, he said coldly, “Apologize!”

Seeing the little boy’s confused look, David’s frown deepen. “Your ball almost hit my girlfriend’s face just now. Apologize to her, now!”

The little boy snorted inaudibly and broke free from David’s hold. He turned and walked up to Rachel, and said in a sweet voice, “Miss, I’m sorry.”

“It’s alright.” Rachel smiled.

She looked at the little boy’s chubby face and her heart softened for some reason. She squatted down and touched his face. “Young boy, you have to pay attention to the pedestrians next time you play soccer, understand?”

“Got it.” The little boy looked at Rachel up close. Suddenly, he leaned in to whisper into Rachel’s ear, “Miss, this man is so mean. Don’t marry him!”

As if he was afraid of being caught by David again, he ran away without looking back.

“So you got to play the good guy,” David said with a hint of jealousy.

Upon hearing his words, Rachel stood up and pinched his face. “It’s your fault for pulling a long face. Children don’t like that.”

“You like children?” David held her hand and walked towards the apartment.
