In a cozy corner of a luxurious café, Emma and Jada were engrossed in a conversation, sipping their
cappuccinos, oblivious to the world outside.
“Can you believe it, Emma? The entire internet is abuzz about Bella’s scandal, and everyone’s
sympathizing with you, the ‘wronged wife,” Jada exclaimed, scrolling through her phone.
Emma chuckled softly, her eyes sparkling with a hint of mischief. “Well, they’re a bit late for the
sympathy party, aren’t they? I moved on from that chapter of my life quite a while ago.
Jada nodded, admiring her friend’s resilience. “But still, it’s quite the drama. How do you think it all
came out? Any theories?”
Emma leaned back, a thoughtful look on her face. “I’ve learned that in this world, there are no
coincidences. Someone must have had enough of Bella’s antics and decided to expose her. Or
perhaps it’s just karma catching up.”
Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of another friend, Justina. She rushed towards them,
excitement evident in her eyes. “Emma, have you heard the latest? They’re saying Alex might have
been more involved with Bella than he’s letting on. The plot thickens!” She clapped excitedly as she
took her seat with Emma and Jada.
Emma raised an eyebrow, mildly intrigued. “Well, that’s his circus, not mine. I’m just glad I’m not in the
middle of it anymore.”
Meanwhile, in his office, Alex sat deep in thought, his fingers drumming on the desk. The recent
revelations about Bella had shaken him. He couldn’t help but wonder if Emma had anything to do
with it.
He picked up his phone, contemplating whether to call Emma. After a moment’s hesitation, he dialed
her number, only to be met with the familiar voicemail message.
Alex sighed, running a hand through his hair. He had so many questions, but it seemed Emma was

Just then, his phone buzzed with a message. It was from Wayne, a simple text: “Stay away from
